This place is a hidden gem! Strong delicious fair priced cocktails. They made my off-menu brunch meal of scrambled eggs Turkish sausage avocado and halloumi to perfection. Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely spectacular service and the food was great portions and absolutely gorgeous, as a group we had the gammon and chips and the heart attack burger and fries and the Hawaiian burger and fries , all brilliant and we had cocktails too and the great thing is they do mocktails and they are really lovely and my daughter got to join in having a virgin cocktail for her 12th birthday.. the staff also made her feel special and sang happy birthday and have her a mocktail with a candle on the pineapple, we also had desert chocolate fudge brownie with Ice cream and apple pie and custard which was beautiful! .. we definitely enjoyed this place , lovely and clean and tidy and beautifully decorated. ššššš

Came in on a summer evening for drinks. Really refreshing, the restaurant is peaceful despite being on a main road. You can sense a real family feeling, there are cute drawings on the walls. Will have to try the food next time āŗļø

We only had the cocktails and some olives/bread. The cocktail tree was gorgeous and the staff were so friendly it made for a very enjoyable evening. I'll definitely be going again!

Great cafe to stop at. Lots of parking nearby, good choices on the menu and friendly staff. Massive portions and very good prices! Only downside was the coffee wasnāt great. Everything else was really good.

I ordered a breakfast, it was brought to my table, the food was hot, presented very well, I didn't have to wait very long, a very good portion size and very tasty. You literally canāt go wrong a Parkwood Cafe. I returned today for the first time in years. To eat the same meal at the same booth as I had the last time I was there. Safe to say they did not disappoint. Though the place is always full to the brim of smiling locals and hungry contractors. Thereās always room for a few more.

Had a birthday diner for 12 of us tonight. Very friendly staff who went out of their way to make our evening special. The food was amazing and we had a really lovely evening. Thank you Christine and staff canāt wait to come back for a Sunday lunch.

Christine house has the best venue and service ! I use the lounge for my birthday and all my guest loved it, her customer obsession is top notch, the food was flavourful and delicious . Had a lovely brunch and a wide selection of cocktails here. We were upstairs in a room set with two large tables. Luckily, no one needed the table after us so we continued drinking until they needed to dress the table for evening service. The food was lovely for all, and presented nicely. Drinks were well made and a decent pour. The decor was nice and it all looked lovely. The only thing I'd say, which didn't affect us, was the toilets were accessed via one of the dining rooms and the tables were right outside the door. Try and avoid a table in this section.

I had a lovely brunch here with an old friend. Service friendly and attentive and the food was beautifully presented and tasty. A little steep on the prizing for some items though. The atmosphere is dark and moody in the Wine Vault area (where we sat) and the decor feels very high end. I certainly think about returning for a meal at another date. Would have liked to have seen more art for the local area in the dinning space as that is what Nucleus Arts charity is so well known for.

Visited for the first time during the week for breakfast. Service was very quick and attentive. Our food was quick to arrive as we had only had pancakes and eggs but the food was excellent. Obviously freshly prepared and with care. Portion sizes are very good and prices are reasonable given the quality of food with our 2 breakfasts and drinks came to a total of Ā£35. We will certainly be back again soon.

A nicely decorated clearly very popular cafe/restaurant. The service was impeccable, polite and prompt and the food was really good. We ate a hearty breakfast and enjoyed some really tasty smoothies. The ingredients were fantastic and great care was taken to make sure we were happy.

Typically much like the other Nucleus venues all to a good standard. One small criticism, the main dining area with mostly ātables for twoā as you come into the venue tends to attract a gathering of guests on arrival, when your sitting at your table the constant stream of guest arrivals takes away the otherwise relaxed atmosphere as they brush past you to get to their tables while removing coats, bags etc. I didnāt go upstairs but get the impression this area is mainly laid out to larger group tables. Maybe group dining could be downstairs with more intimate dining upstairs? There is another small quiet area on route to the toilets which were clean & to a good standard. Iād visit again.

I was so hungry when I arrived at melz kitchen and chose to have the triple bacon burger. I thought it would just be 3 patties bashed together BUT when I recieved this mountain of a burger that was bigger than my hand. The freshness of the burger was out this world. Halfway through the burger I was full. The juicy burgers with cheese just melted in my mouth. I finished the meal with baklava and ice cream. I can Honestly say I have never tasted something so incredibly outstanding then I have this pudding the juicy flakey but crisp baklava with pistachio pieces was out of this world. I even took a portion home for later. The interior was clean and had a lovely smell of fresh cooked products. I would definitely recommend this establishment for a quick pit stop or a family meal. The owners were polite and welcoming. Would definitely come again. Child friendly too which was a bonus

What a lovely place for Saturday brunch in Rochester. Very good menu options, including vegan and gluten-free. I enjoyed my pea and mint soup, and the staff was very attentive to my food intolerance. My friend enjoyed vegetarian truffle pastry with veg and mashed potatoes. Very nice and clean restaurant, lovely ambient and staff.

Very lovely atmosphere for dining out! Excellent service and food was just magnificent. The menu is very versatile and has many options, lots of drinks to choose from too which was great. We didn't have to wait long and the staff made sure we have everything we need. One of the best places to go to if you want a cosy yet exquisite evening. The location is close to Rochester castle so if you want you can have a nice walk after dinner. Me and my partner enjoyed every second. Definitely coming back again for brunch next time!

Located in Rochester town. This was a perfect place for a brunch getaway. The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is luxurious but relaxing. The service was spot on. Of course the food was nice and the produce was fresh. I couldn't fault this place. It's slightly pricey, but you pay what you get for. Highly recommended and will definitely get back. This restaurant is STUNNING. My favourite place Iāve been to so far in Rochester. The only downside (for me) was the lack of main meal options. Iām not a fan of meat, and they only had meat options. The chef did end up making me a vegetarian option which was a cauliflower steak with roasted veg, which was really lovely of him. But I would love for a chicken option. The bruschetta was the best thing Iāve ever flipping tasted like OH MY. And the staff are WONDERFUL.

Great place for authentic Italian food. The pizzas and other food ordered like risotto were very well presented and tasted good. All fresh produce, the service was relaxed and friendly. Good wine selection. It's great for large groups or lone diners. Reasonabley priced too. Clean and well presented. Definitely would recommend visiting here.

What an amazing experience! Treated my mum to afternoon tea and we were blown away. The quality of the food, sweet and savoury, that was on offer is outstanding! From start to finish we were so well looked after, staff were attentive and couldnāt do enough, to ensure our experience was 5*. The outside pods are especially cute, very cosy and so warm. I was concerned, being a chilly November day we may have needed blankets but we were so toasty and content. Please support the team and pay a visit, so much on offer from steak nights to Sunday lunch, it would be a damn shame to loose such an asset to Medway, letās face it thereās not much to shout about in this area, so when you find an absolute gem such as Tan & Tassās offerings we must sing their praises from the highest! Great work team, we will certainly be back, thank you.

We all had a lovely afternoon tea at Baskervilles Coffee House. The traditional tea had a good selection of savoury and sweet treats. The child's tea also had a good selection, having changed the sandwich fillings to known favourites. Our dog certainly enjoyed her afternoon tea too and it was great to be able to give her something designed for her instead of snuffling our sausage rolls. The staff were really happy, polite and chatty. This is a wonderful little coffee shop and a great place to visit if you want to sit with your dog.

A far cry from a truckers cafƩ, this local coffee house offers a cosy seating area with a modest menu. The interior is well decorated. There is a standard selection of hot items with a range of cakes that also cater to vegan requirements. Parking is easily found on the road, or it's a walk away for local residents who tend to come here and socialise in small groups. Prices are what you would expect.

Came here with my two dogs on the second day of the opening under the new owner. Love the decor. Dog bowls on the floor, free dog treats and tables and chairs outside with lovely throws to use. I had a really tasty jacket potato and a beautiful home made cake. Has a good selection of gluten free and vegan options of savoury and sweet items. Throughly recommend
