We have been using Adam for a few years now and he is always prompt at replying and coming to appointments on time. He is so reliable and his work is always perfection. I would most definitely recommend him .
Rating: 5 / 5
Adam is proficient and efficient. He knows his stuff (must be 12 years experience now) and gets on with the job at most costs eg, weather is not a hold-back. I'll have to trawl through some photos and edit this review to add some but be assured the job will be completed to a high grade.
Rating: 5 / 5
Adam is a fantastic electrician and I have used him many times. We recently needed some extractor fans installed in our bathroom and also in our en-suite shower room. Both rooms previously were not getting enough ventilation. Adam arrived at our house early and did both jobs very efficiently. He installed two extremely powerful extractor fans and the ventilation and air quality is now much better in both rooms. On another occasion he installed a new electric hob and electric cooker replacing our old gas one. Adam did all the electrical wiring necessary in our kitchen after changing over from gas and it all works perfectly. I have had a lot of electricians over the years and this guy really is the best.
Rating: 5 / 5
Adam has worked for me before and this time it was at my sister's house. He installed an external outside socket for a new pond pump and the more difficult job of concreting in a Victorian cast iron lamp post, wiring it in to the mains and rewiring it. It has been removed from my late parent's house but was last rewired in the 1970s. It is now wirelessly operated from a mobile as well as a manual kinetic switch. This was a difficult job due to the lampost's considerable weight and required help from two team members as well as a winch. As before Adam's work was first class. He and his team members were friendly, efficient, courteous and prompt. I would definitely recommend Adam for electrical work and particularly unusual external jobs as well a=s whole house rewirings and new consumer units.
Rating: 5 / 5
We first met Adam about 5 years ago when he rewired an outside awning for us. Since then he has done a couple of jobs for us, the most recent being to change our light switches around the house, and putting a new double socket in our lounge for a new in the wall fire we are buying. With all these jobs, he has been very professional, providing quotes quickly and carrying out the work on time, and in a tidy and efficient manner. We have no hesitation in recommending him. Well done. š

Baskervilleās Coffee House

Rating: 4.7 (272) Price Level:
We all had a lovely afternoon tea at Baskervilles Coffee House. The traditional tea had a good selection of savoury and sweet treats. The child's tea also had a good selection, having changed the sandwich fillings to known favourites. Our dog certainly enjoyed her afternoon tea too and it was great to be able to give her something designed for her instead of snuffling our sausage rolls. The staff were really happy, polite and chatty. This is a wonderful little coffee shop and a great place to visit if you want to sit with your dog.

Came here with my two dogs on the second day of the opening under the new owner. Love the decor. Dog bowls on the floor, free dog treats and tables and chairs outside with lovely throws to use. I had a really tasty jacket potato and a beautiful home made cake. Has a good selection of gluten free and vegan options of savoury and sweet items. Throughly recommend
Rating: 4 / 5
A far cry from a truckers cafƩ, this local coffee house offers a cosy seating area with a modest menu. The interior is well decorated. There is a standard selection of hot items with a range of cakes that also cater to vegan requirements. Parking is easily found on the road, or it's a walk away for local residents who tend to come here and socialise in small groups. Prices are what you would expect.

Lovely vegan breakfast š Will certainly be going back again. Friendly staff and a great selection of vegan cakes too! Dog friendly also which always gets bonus points in my opinion! Highly recommend.

Went here for breakfast. Dog friendly cafe. Had the 'Hair of the Hound' full English breakfast which was ok. Wife had Gluton Free (GF bread was not good). Fast service and Friendly staff. Recommendations: clean the windows from the cobwebs and flys, not nice when your eating.

Rating: 4.5 (1508) Price Level:
Just had 3 really, really, enjoyable nights at the BHI. Wonderful location, went on two lovely runs in the area directly on to the North Downs Way. Rooms were fine, great bath and shower, plenty of space. Lovely food, dinner and breakfast were great, in a wonderful atmospheric pub. (Amazing mushrooms at breakfast!) Lovely staff across the board , helpful, friendly, welcoming from reception, to the owner, to the cat, to the wait staff - all lovely. My one, single improvement point would be to have fresh coffee for breakfast over instant. Would absolutely come back - thank you for a lovely friendly stay.

We went for a mid week lunch on a gloomy November day. Lovely old pub with a log fire and lovely food and service. Food took a little while but think as all done very fresh. A lovely sausages and mash for Ā£15 and attentive and friendly service. Would recommend and will be going again!

I have been staying at the Black Horse a lot in the past few months because it's a brilliant establishment. Firstly the Black Horse Inn is a beautiful pub. It has great food, friendly staff and lovely aesthetics. Secondly, the hotel is unique, always clean and priced fairly. The reception staff are always really friendly and make you feel so welcome. Highly recommend this place if you're staying in the local area or fancy going out somewhere for a nice dinner!

Had a new years eve meal with my family. Location was lovely, hostess was very attentive, atmosphere was friendly, surroundings were quaint. The only thing that spoilt it was the onion rings were so so salty. Didn't think to ask for unsalted as its never happened anywhere else before and it wasn't mentioned on the menu. Maybe they were salted twice by mistake. Such a shame as they were real onions in super crunchy batter.

We just spent NYE at The Black Horse and had a wonderful time. Every single member of staff was friendly, and always smiling. We had a meal in the loft and saw the new year in downstairs in the bar where there was a lovely atmosphere. Our room was perfect. Spacious, spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. There was even a miniature Christmas tree complete with lights on one of the bedside tables. Fluffy white towels and a very comfortable bed. To add to the above, it's a very dog-friendly place. We didn't bring our pooch this time, but our friends had theirs and he was made to feel very welcome. Lots of free parking too, and really great for a celebration with on site accommodation. Would love to visit in the summer when not quite so wet and windy! Mother Nature's issue, not the venue's! We will definitely return and recommend!

For an Xmas treat I took my girlfriend & my parents (50th wedding anniversary celebration) to Chilston Manor to stay in feature rooms (Regency & Hogarth) along with an evening meal. I have to say the whole experience was above and beyond what we were xpecting. Everything from the welcome to the cocktails, food to the walk around the grounds was exceptional. Thankyou to you all for making our stay just seem magical, it was a time that will live long in my memory. We laughed, ate, drank and discussed to the early morning and then some. Just simply amazing.

I have just had Sunday roast. It was so tasty and the best roast I've had in a very long time. The staff were very attentive. There was a nice buzzy atmosphere. Such a beautiful place. Well done. We will be back.

A wonderful time staying here for the night. It was reasonably priced which meant the experience could go either way (good or bad) after reading the reviews I decided to book and very unusually the great reviews were rightā¦.the staff here absolutely make the place. The gentleman on checking couldnāt have been more friendly and helpful. The standout here however is the bar/restaurant which although pricey is outstandingā¦.many restaurants these days promise fine dining and forget that includes the service as well. Matt in the restaurant deserves a shout out of his own, his attention to detail while serving was impeccable. Service with style. The grounds in the hotel are jaw droppingā¦.our visit was winter with a howling gale outside (which did make the hotel feel more cosy) but during summer Iām guessing this hotel is absolutely beautiful with grounds to stroll around. Rooms are very nice if slightly datedā¦.(thatās my only criticism) for me the rest of the hotel well and truly made up for this. Oh and the fast WiFi worked everywhereā¦.why do so many hotels drop this now vital ball? I will stay here for business trips now too.

My wife and I attended an 80th birthday party for my father in-law.The event was mainly planned by Becky. My sister in law was able to access the rooms beforehand to decorate and Becky kindly assisted which she was very grateful for. The room looked amazing but it was also the amazing service provided by herself and all the other staff at the hotel. The service was wonderful. kiera and Becky looked after us making us all feel at home. There are too many names to mention they were excellent.Thank you for making it such a special day.

Unfortunately we only stayed for the one night. The staff were second to none, nothing was too much trouble, very chatty, excellent comfy rooms, and the food!!! Having spent many years in the catering industry, I like to think of myself of a bit of a connoisseur and Iām not easily āblown awayā, dined at some of the best restaurants in the country and this dinner surpassed them. I really canāt remember a better meal, fine cuisine but all components were a perfect fit for the dishes and not just there to make the food sound as fancy as possible. Met the head chef and he insisted that the head chef at one of the chainās sister hotels was even better than him! No way! Take a bow chefs at the Chilston.

I am a small business owner I need need of full electric works done. Paul from D J Adams worked in my shop and installed new DC Immune, commercial fuse unit, linked several power sockets to DC Immune for protection on my equipment, did amazing lighting's and metal conduit sockets. The best part of it is the advise and thinking of better ways to help you. They were very reasonable and only phone call away. I truly recommend them. It is very hard to find honest and knowledgeable electrician who takes pride on there work. Thank you for work well done.

Evan from D.J. Electrical in Maidstone came to put a fan into my kitchen today in preparation for cavity wall insulation and to meet the requisite building regulations. His work was speedy and to a very good standard and he was courteous, professional and friendly. He cleaned up well after his cutting and chasing into the wall and was overall very tidy. I would have no problems using this company again for electrical work.

We had an event for 14 people at home and pre arranged with the Manager Ash to have buffet style serving containers not the individual portion ones but bigger. We had arranged to collect the food at 6.45pm and it all worked like a dream and the food was delicious. Ash was very helpful when we were deciding what to order the day before. The team loaded the car when I arrived and were also very helpful. We wouldnāt hesitate to work with Ash and his team again. Thank you

Beautiful Bangladeshi restaurant with welcoming staff and very friendly atmosphere. We ordered the set platter for 4 which had a wonderful combination of starters, mains and coffee. The mixed meat starters was particularly amazing as it was sizzlers with lovely taste. Mains had varied combination of Veg and Non-veg. Would definitely recommend āThe Taste of Bengalā, if looking for a lovely restaurant with friendly staff and great tasting food at reasonable price.

10/10 We came here for dinner and have a really fantastic time. Great selection of beers and cocktails, the menu has a sensible number of options as to cater for all and the food itself is incredible. The refurbishment of this place has been done to an amazing modern standard and is the perfect venue for dining, pub evenings and for ladies who lunch. We very much look forward to coming back again soon!

Well Perciās pulled it out of the bag for our friends birthday celebrations. This is our local pub, and have definitely been on a journey to get to where they are. With a new head chef in the house, the food has seen remarkable improvement. Georgio and his team always deliver service with a smile

Rating: 4.5 (553) Price Level:
A few years ago (different owners I believe), this place was not much to shout about. But now it's a regular breakfast venue for me and business colleagues. The service is always excellent, swift and welcoming. The coffee is very good and the food... well, we wouldn't go back if it wasn't great every time! Pictured is my beans on toast, which isn't actually on the menu but is never any trouble. My friend has the vege breakfast which he assures my is top notch.
Rating: 5 / 5
We really enjoyed our experience today at Leahās bistro. Thereās a lot of choice on the menu, something for everyone, and everything is freshly made and cooked. We really enjoyed the food, it was delicious! Prices are really reasonable too - 2 adults, 2 kids - lunch (sandwich and panini, 2 x kids meals), drink and cake each, worked out at about Ā£40. Definitely will come back. Staff are lovely as well, really friendly.

Update 2024 December Had a roast lunch which was promptly ordered and served by polite very hard working staff. It was plentiful in size but could have been heated a little more evenly, this was Ā£12 there was an OAP option for Ā£10 which was smaller apparently. I though the cheese cake a bit expensive for its size Ā£3.95. Update 2023 Staff were friendly and patient. We had a roast lunch each which was served very hot, portion size were just adequate. They were amazingly quick at delivering our meal after order.

We have become regulars here over the past few weeks - the staff are friendly, kind and helpful, there is always a positive buzz whatever time of day you're here and the food is delicious. For fellow vegans and people who are gluten free, there are gf and vegan options available. Leah's has become our favourite place to visit at the weekend - If you haven't been to Leah's before, treat yourself!

Had a fantastic experience here. The food was great and of good quality. Portions were more than generous and especially for a kids roast. The atmosphere was very unexpected with someone playing the piano by the entrance. People working there were all very fun and bubbly to be around and engaged with the kids too.

Fish on the Green

Rating: 4.7 (360) Price Level:
My first visit to this restaurant with friends who had been before. A relaxing atmosphere with excellent Jazz ballards playing at just the right volume in the background. We had the lunch menu. The choice for all three courses were excellent. So it took a while to decide as I would have liked to order all of it! The standard of food was excellent for all four of us. It ranks equally with some of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Very friendly staff.

Iāve waited years to go here. Fish on the Green has always had a great reputation and I finally got round to trying it with family. This place does not disappoint. Delicious food (try the monkfish) and lovely staff. Canāt wait to return and try more from the menu!

A nice Sunday lunch at the Ringlestone Inn. Attentive staff, hardworking and polite. Fully booked on Sunday, so reservation would be recommended. I had a pint curious larger and partner had G&T. I had the mackerel to start, which was delicious. We both had roast beef for mains. Followed by two flat white coffees. A lovely, well cooked meal in a nice location. We will be returning.

I treated my parents to lunch at The Ringlestone yesterday and we had the BEST time. From start to finish the service by the Manager was fantastic, he was so friendly and helpful. And wow the food was amazing !!! My Dad said its the best meal he has eaten at a pub, and for my Dad to say that, is a very big complement!! It was so lovely and Christmassy inside as well with the fires going. The homemade mulled wine was delicious too. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend a visit to The Ringlestone.

Fantastic - Lovely meal out with my wife today. The food was delicious and the presentation brilliant. We have been going to The Ringlestone for years before it closed and are so happy to see it back open and in such capable hands. The front of house service could not have been better. Well done you for making our impromptu lunch out so good. We left feeling uplifted and full of wonderfully cooked food and beverages. We will be back. Keep up the good work Guys. Nostimo Poli (sorry just back from Greece), you made us feel like we were still on holiday.

We had the most delicious lunch at The Ringlestone Inn today. The food was excellent and well presented. We only had the one course as we were going for a walk. I can definitely recommend the chicken and smoked bacon pie. We didn't stay in the accommodation so I couldn't rate it.
