Visited the Royal Oak Sunday for their carvey. As far as carveys go, it was nice. Service was great, no complaints. Was early, so there wasn't much of an atmosphere. Will return to try other options on the menu, they seem to have some real hearty food available.

I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The menu is a testament to culinary creativity, offering a diverse range of dishes that cater to various palates. Each dish I tried showcased the chef's skill and dedication to using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff with Sri Lankan hospitality who made me feel welcomed throughout the evening. They were knowledgeable about the menu, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring a seamless dining experience. As for the food, every dish was a masterpiece of flavours and presentation. The attention to detail was evident, and each bite was a burst of taste that left me craving more. Whether you're looking for a romantic evening, a celebration, or just a fantastic meal, this is the ideal choice in Ashford. I left with a satisfied palate and a desire to return for another culinary adventure. Highly recommended!

I got the best South Indian and Srilankan food here. It's awesome quality and quantity at affordable prices. The only South Indian restaurant I love in Ashford. Especially this Saturday meal that was awesome. Will visit regularly. I think this meal combo is only available on Saturdays. South Indian people and Sri Lankan people should never miss this one.

Popped in on the off chance on a Sunday. Had a fantastic roast here! Food and service both great. Bar staff and the locals all really friendly. Even had a log burner on the go, which at this time of year really added to the cosy feel.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Just had the best and biggest breakfast for a great price served by very lovely and happy lady's. Food was hot and fresh. Will definitely be back here to try some more of the menu. Thank you lady's, was the perfect treat after being away

I’m so glad my office moved to Ashford and this is now my fave place for lunch. The food is well prepared and tasty - some of the portions are huge. I always have the eggs royale which are impeccably cooked and the smoked salmon is beautifully flavoured and lean. It also does its own freshly squeezed orange juice, which goes down a treat.

If I could give this 6 Stars I would. First time here. Lady who served me was full of life and chatted and joked with everyone. Proper sized mugs of tea and coffee. I had a bacon baguette and they used Tiger bread which made it even more delicious. Others were having the full English and they also looked very good. Toilet and facilities were in immaculate condition. Slight downside was they only took cash. However, if ever I'm in the area again, it would be my first choice.

Best fry up in Kent! We only ever come here for breakfast, so we haven't tried their lunch items. However, their breakfast is incredible. They have a few different fry up options for you to choose from, I always get a set 1, and I change the option for chips or bubble to hash browns. The set 1 and other options comes with crusty bread or toast and a tea, coffee or cold drink. It is cash only, but there is a BP around the corner with a cash point. However it does have a £2.50 charge.

I love the food here , a good proper breakfast!! A good selection of food to choose from and the bread And butter is proper bread and butter ! I'm talking fresh bread 🍞 My only dislike is the noise levels ,not their fault at all. But when there's a lot of people in the cafe it's extremely loud, but you can eat outside if it's a nice day. The prices are reasonable but it's cash only. Parking is limited but you can park along the road and walk up. Wheelchair and pushchair accessible.

A perfect gem 10 mins from the Le Shuttle exit, a great stop for breakfast for heading on our journey. Well priced and not a spare table showing its popularity. Do not take card so make sure you have some cash.

The food and coffee here are both excellent, though it is a bit on the expensive side. The place itself is really nice and well-presented, which adds to the experience. However, there was one issue that stood out to me. During a breakfast visit, someone brought their dog into the cafe. At first, the dog was sitting under the table, but then it started barking and growling at a child on the next table. After a few minutes, the dog jumped up and was sitting on the velvet seating next to the owner, and it stayed there. We were seated on the opposite side of the cafe, so it didn't affect us directly. But honestly, if they had been seated anywhere near us, we would have walked straight out the door, I don’t feel comfortable eating near animals in a restaurant or cafe—especially when they're sitting at the tables. We generally prefer to dine in places without animals around, so I hope this was just a one-time thing, It would be nice to keep coming back without worrying about unexpected dog encounters.

I don’t often write reviews as I’m usually too lazy however after visiting here I felt it was necessary I do one. For starters, when you walk in the place itself it is beautiful. Flowers everywhere and great photo op decor. They’ve hit the nail on the head with the decor and is super eye catching. Secondly, they greet you upon entrance and sit you down at a table which really uplifts the experience from a regular cafe to a proper restaurant. Server (owner) came over and asked if we’re ready and was lovely when we needed more time. When the drinks arrived I was gobsmacked. The caramel macchiato was SO GOOD and looked so freaking cool. The attention to detail was impeccable and it was just another regular cold drink served in a regular old glass. The drink itself was super sweet at first but it was a good burst to my senses but after a few sips was a more tame flavour. My boyfriend ordered a smoothie, it looked awesome as now expected and it also was so good. Wasn’t too sweet but wasn’t bland either. Food came and it was so yummy!!!! Presentation was really good also and fruit came on the side of my full breakfast which was a sweet surprise. Overall this place is a great place but also it is well thought out and an awesome twist on an English cafe and Turkish breakfasts.

Lovely brunch style cafe, good food/drinks, great portions and welcoming staff as well. Will definitely go back again. We loved to see they allowed dogs in as well, there was a cute little puppy next to our table which makes it even more appealing to us!

Really lovely cafe. I went for brunch with a friend and my daughter and we definitely wasn't disappointed! The pancakes were my favorite,so light and fluffy! I definitely recommend them ,but generally everything was delicious! I can't complain about a thing. It was a lot bigger inside then I thought, the seating was comfortable and lovely and it wasn't noisy like some cafes can be. The best part is it's in walking distance from my house so I will definitely be going back again. Thank you No61 cafe

My wife and I came here a couple of days ago because she saw all the reviews on trip advisor. Don’t expect something this good in what seems like suburbia. Anyway the light lunch options are very tasty, had the cold chicken with cold Italian pasta salad and it was very yummy and cheap at £6. However it’s the cake I guess people come here for and that didn’t disappoint. Peach Melba was fantastic, pink lemonade cake a bit sweet for me and knew I should’ve had the layered lemon cake. And the Assam tea was just delightful and wife’s coffee was excellent for cafetiere and she got her liquid pouring cream on the side. Definitely you should go but be beware of parking. Either on the main road where the cafe is and mount the kerb and hope trucks vans going past miss you or else park in a side street and walk 200 metres.

Amazing home cooked food, cakes, and meringues that are worth a trip on their own. A hidden gem of a tearoom.

Came here on a Saturday and we're lucky to get a free table. Tried the BEEF BOURGUIGNON - very nice and warming food on a cold winter day. The halloumi and honey toastie was also nice. Highly recommend the Elderflower & apple juice and their French press coffees. The savoury cream tea comes with small scones with a selection of cheese was nice but note it does not include a hot drink which you order separately They also do a nice selection of hot chocolate melts from 40% Venezuela cocoa.

Every time we have been here the food, service, and atmosphere has been great. Even when we have had a very early dinner the staff chat to you and you don’t feel you’re eating at the library. I recommend this pub restaurant. We will be back and we will take people with us. Reliable and consistently good. Thanks to all the team.

I randomly came across this pub during my cycling trip and I have to say that I have a truly great experience there. They accepted to cook a fish and chips even though the kitchen had closed. Food was delicious and everyone was very kind! I very much recommend this pub and hope that i'll have the opportunity to go back! Thanks again to the White Horse team for such a nice moment!
