Top Golf Courses in Cobham, Surrey

We held a small family party (low key) at Brickendon Grange. It is a lovely building in well kept grounds.
The staff were very efficient and attentive. They decorated the table for us beautifully and clearly had spent some time doing this. We were in the Oak Room, which was very suitable for 19 of us to be seated comfortably. The food was lovely (vegetarians catered for). Cannot fault it .

I played this course as part of an away fixture. The first time that I've played the course and was really pleasantly surprised.
The club house is an extended manor house with a very modern dining and patio area behind the main entrance.
The practice area is pretty good with separate nets, putting green, chipping area and grass range.
The only down side was, that because it is corporate owned i presume, that there was a function going on which meant the place was packed and we had to park adjacent to the grass range, leaving numerous cars in danger of an errant golf ball from there.
The course itself is a tree lined parkland course with some really nice holes. There is enough elevation throughout the course to make for some great views but it does mean that you are playing a couple of blind approach shots.
The course was in great condition. The fairways had really good coverage, the greens were of a good standard with a consistent roll and had enough slope on them to make for some challenging putts. The trees around the course provide some testing drives but with plenty of space further out for longer hitters.
A couple of nice dog leg holes require accurate tee shots with challenging approaches.
The final hole is a good looking par 3 up hill, with a view into the patio area.
The members were friendly and the food was good.
There were parts of the course that were still a little damp but there is a fair amount of water in the way of pond or streams to add further challenges into your round so not that surprising.
Overall well worth a visit but it definitely should be played off the back tees to get the most out of your time there.

I have been asked to commend Sam and the brilliant staff at Brickendon Grange, who went above and beyond to cater for the needs of the players. Beautifully maintained green was commented on and they all were in unison for a repeated visit to this 5* golf club. The food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the society day.

Brickendon Grange Golf Club is located in Hertfordshire countryside in the village of Brickendon, set within 100 plus acres this is a beautiful golf course, I don’t play myself but the backdrop to the clubhouse is just gorgeous, stunning and beautiful.
My birthday party was my requirement, I had considered other venues, but this place was head and shoulders above anywhere else, the Grange Suite would be my destination, my party arrangers would be Angie and Jo, these excellent ladies are absolute angels, ( they are a credit to the events department) all my party requests would be arranged, some brilliant ideas were put forward, the food choices were chosen, the chefs are excellent, as it was a November birthday which occurred in December, Santa was suggested to bring Xmas cheer to kids alongside a soft play area, I tell you ladies know how to put a party together, not forgetting the last minute DJ requirement, Jo to the rescue.
On the day, the Grange Suite was suitably dressed for the occasion, everything was set, Lin and her second in command were explemary, I had no worries, so I could be free to enjoy the occasion, the food was spot on, my guests commented on restaurants food of the highest standards, the chefs are definitely top drawer.
My party guests have said this was the best party experience they have ever experienced, this is high praise indeed.
