Top Golf Courses in Holbrook, Derbyshire

A quaint club next to Uttoxeter racecourse that is very testing and a great opportunity to test your skills. We visited as a society for the day and to have the club president speak to us and advise us about the course before we set out was something we haven't seen often and was very much appreciated by all. Absolute not notch for a welcome and introduction and the staff were also superb and went out of their way to ensure we felt comfortable and welcome. The members very happy to speak with us at length both before and after we had played and I cannot thank all highly enough.
The course itself was in amazing condition and makes you think about how you play as opposed to just hammering a driver on every hole. It will test you because there are a few blind holes and it does undulate. There are also a few cross over holes which makes you think about what you are doing and for us only increased the concentration level. It will test the best and is well worth visiting. If you do, then listen to the free advice given from staff and mebers as each hole played exactly as predicted.
In regards to price it's superb value for money so I highly recommend that you give this club a whirl.
Feedback from our society was extremely high and we will be visiting again. In fact we are looking to tie in a trip where we golf am and watch the races in the afternoon.

Lovely course in great nick, some challenging holes (for this 26 hcp at least!)with blind tee shots and lots of elevation changes. A few holes cross each other which means it’s a course where you must keep your wits about you but it’s hard to think there’s a better course round here to play for £20. Recommended.

A lovely challenging course situated adjacent to the racecourse. Nice clubhouse serving good food. Everybody very friendly. Will definitely be returning for another game.
