We came across Feature Improvements via a post on Facebook - I was cynical at first I'd never heard of this company and having been burnt in the past by dodgy tradespeople I wasn't too sure.

I did a little searching of reviews and saw photo's of the work they had done and decided to give Ricky a call but in the back of my mind I still wasn't sure.

I needn't have worried.

He was great.. He put me and my wife at ease. He listened, gave ideas and helped us understand the pros an cons of what we had our hearts set on. He was very honest about his approach and how he runs his business too.

We talked through the project and had Ricky over a couple more times before we finalised details. Where others don't return calls and almost make you feel like you are inconveniencing them by asking questions or needing to change things, it was no trouble for him at all - "I want you to be happy" was his motto.

His team started work as planned - they were on site everyday by 7.30 am and worked solid all the way through. They were friendly, mindful of the neighbours, polite and generally a lovely group of people. Anytime we popped out to see how it was going - they'd turn down the radio, stop and explain what was being done, what was happening next and gave ideas about little changes which could make a difference.

I'd recommend Ricky and Feature Improvement in a heartbeat - in fact I already have.

Ricky and his team of guys originally started doing a new tarmac drive and sleepers in the back garden.....then I had the brainwave of having the grass removed and artificial fitted......
Can't recommend them enough, tidy, good price, accommodating, reliable, punctual and the cleanest builders I have known. Will be definitely having them back to do further work, sooner rather than later.
