This is such a beautiful garden that has been grown out of a quarry and site of a corn mill. There are strong Japanese influences and a list of viewpoints and benches to enjoy them that is given to you on arrival.
Great little garden with a Zen feel. Lots of lovely plants to buy and a fantastic selection of bonsai trees / accessories at a very reasonable price. You can just go to the plant nursery if you don't want to pay the small fee for the gardens.
Amazing place. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves to look roundsl gardens. There's so much to look at, and it's all so beautiful. I can imagine it looks stunning in the summer months when all the flowers are in bloom. Would definitely go back. They also offer light refreshments, cakes, hot and cold drinks and sandwiches on request. I can confirm the sandwiches, salad and crisps was delicious. And I had a triple chocolate brownie as well which was divine and a J20. Really worth it. And the owners cat is very friendly too.
I can't say much because I went to the place but it was closed so I can't say much except they let us walk around when it was closed. The place is good for Buddhism.
