The staff were excellent. So kind and lovely, I would go back for them to support good people. The food wasn't my favourite but we enjoyed our visit. I had the breakfast wrap and my husband had the veggie breakfast. We managed to sit outside in the sunshine.

I've used Dorset Electrical many time, from simple light switch change to a complete loft rewire. Always on time, tidy and professional. Good advice always given and never any issues with the work. I wouldn't go anywhere else for any electrical work.

Yup, the good reviews are on point. Gavin & his team did a full rewire of my house, and every aspect of working with him was A1. Starting with a detailed and fair quote; he made great suggestions that I hadn't thought of; the works, and communications were done well and on time; he was flexible to changes in my plans....generally speaking, he has a great attitude, so all-in-all I could relax and trust that the job was in good hands.

I have used Gavin and his team for some outside lighting installation on an Aircraft Hangar at Bournemouth Airport which I am very satisfied with. Dorset Electrical are an excellent choice for industrial electrical installation requirements. A secluded, quaint, and tranquil inn. Great price. Truly a hidden gem of Dorset. The owners are good people - friendly, yet discreet. Georgia, one of the hosts, can be found working the bar at the pub, which offers quality food and drink. Short drive away from Lyme Regis and Charmouth.

Went for Sunday roast. Delicious food. Generous portions. Booked in advance for a party of 6 adults & 4 children. Orders all ready and correct on our arrival. Very friendly owner, who made us feel instantly welcome. Only downside was no baby changing table available.

A really nice guy. Turned up on time with a great solution to a tricky problem. After a discussion as to how best to provide the lighting we desired Derek suggested a solution which fitted in perfectly with our "minds eye picture" Two days later he returned as promised with all the parts and specialist tools to complete the job. Finished the job in a couple of hours and tidied up like he had never been there. Very pleased with the quality and value for money. We recommend them.

We used Amped Electrical Dorset most recently to install three wall lights to update our home. The work was carried out quickly and very efficiently, cables being chased into the walls with the very minimum of disruption and all mess tidied away. Derek was also able to advise us on the best, up-to-date fixtures to use. We have also used Amped Electrical to replace outdated sockets and fit attractive LED lighting to our staircase. Each time we’ve been impressed with the quality of the work and Derek’s friendly and efficient work ethic. Highly recommended.

Derek at Amped was great to deal with. We had an electrical issue that left us without heating or hot water. He came out really quickly to both quote and start the work - meaning our heating was restored much sooner than initially thought. He was reliable, showing up when promised and also responding to our questions via text within an hour on average. Lastly, he found a way to get the electrical job done with minimal disruption to our home, and concealed the areas that were necessarily disrupted by the work he undertook. We've got other jobs that need doing this year, and based on this first job, we will definitely be getting back in touch with Amped.

We were really impressed with Leigh at Amped. He arrived on time and worked quickly and neatly to install an outdoor socket for us. Leigh was friendly, professional, approachable and tidied up all mess once he’d finished the work. We would highly recommend Amped Electrical and will definitely be using them again in the future.

We had water damage from an overflowing bath and as a result one of the electrical circuits in the house was not working. Our engineer was able to set this right at once by putting back the appropriate switch on the circuit breaker to the normal position, the water ingress having dried out. Apart from fixing it, the engineer explained everything most clearly, answered all our questions and was able to put our minds at rest regarding the incident & its effects. He was extremely helpful & thoughtful, and we would be more than delighted to recommend both him and Amped thoroughly.

Great Bakery, with a great choice of reasonably priced savoury tasty pasties and pies along side cakes and tarts, etc. There is seating inside, where pets are welcome. However this is a very popular cafe, where you well may have to queue. It can be so busy that the staff haven't the time to clear tables, or check the toilets, as these are very busy too.

Went with my sister ( a local ) and daughter and granddaughter. Food was really lovely. Highly reccomend the quiche. The play area is safe and really well laid out. If you are in the area it is well worth a visit. We live over an hour away but do make a beeline for Blackmarsh Farm when visiting. Staff are lovely too.

I love this little place that has a larger personality especially around the holidays, nice food, nice helpful staff, and full of friendlyness. It gets bigger and louder during the holidays and summer months when it opens the play area and the maize maze. Lovely for families and children. I have to say it pleases my heart to see this place set up for children's outside play, they certainly keep you on your toes, even when you are not part of that group or party, it has a little downside life everywhere when is busy hearing can be an issue even when sat face to face, so if you're expecting a wee cuppa or coffee or lunch in peace or relative quite here, you honestly won't know until you get there. It's just lovely hearing the children and youths being a play outside and not attached to their phones or computers.

An amazing maize, maze one of the best around. What a pity it's the final maze this year. A wonderful attraction for all the family with all the usual facilities including a superb little cafe. Play area for younger children and very reasonably priced. Staff extremely friendly and helpful adding to the experience. The maze is open all summer until early September so get in there quickly for a brilliant day out!

A good restaurant in a great location ! Market fish was the best choice on the menu! Extremely fresh and perfectly cooked, accompanied by fennel and good buttered bread. I must say I was a little disappointed with the bouillabaisse... A bit coarse for my French-educated palate... And the apple cake was as beautiful as amber but not very subtle and not rich enough in apples for my taste. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, smiling and efficient. Impeccable hygiene and one of the nicest toilets (perhaps not what you'd expect from a restaurant review, but how important it is! Particularly when you're on the road a lot, it's important that the place where you stop offers comfort in this respect too, and even better with a touch of aesthetics. I highly recomand 🩵

The location is absolutely stunning, with Golden Cap behind and a view down to the Isle of Portland. This place really is a treat, service is excellent but, it can get very, very busy and you may have to wait for seating. It is on the pricey side too, so as I said, it's a treat. Ask for extra salt on the Padron peppers and you won't be disappointed. Beers were in good condition. A great place to while away a warm summer's evening.

We called in for drinks and cake. They do fab milkshakes and Iced coffee with ice cream and plenty of cream on top :-) The cakes are yummy too, we had the chocolate brownies and Flapjacks. It was windy inside but a hellabullo outside...great cafe with great views. Great menu and service was prompt and with a smile. Our dog loved the attention and the doggie sausage which was a nice touch. Food was well presented and tasty and hit the spot. The cafe has an extension menu and do great breakfast upto midday. Lovely cakes too but we were full from our lunch. Recommend the coated chips with. Cheese and pulled pork...yum 😋

We have been coming to the windy cafe on a regular basis. Some times we just have a coffee , which always comes out lovely and hot , we bring family and friends to eat here. I think we paid around £10 for 3 babyccinos, a double espresso and 2 packets of biscuits, which given today’s prices is pretty good 🙌🏻 Side note: the Babyccinos are awesome. They’re £1.45 and you get frothy milk with marshmallows but a cheaper version for kids. Highly recommend and the kids loved them👌🏻 I could imagine that it would be quite relaxing and enjoyable, but we had 3 kids. Sitting in a cafe is generally not all that enjoyable with kids but they were quite bearable and no one died. And big up to the member of staff that took the time to have a chat with one of our kids and even gave them all paper bags to collect treasure in from the beach 🙌🏻

Came here on a recommendation of a family member and I was glad I did! It was a busy day and the staff were clearly rushing all over the place, with our food taking quite a while to arrive. However, our breakfast was fresh, hot and most importantly; extremely tasty! Great quality sausages (a big hit for me) and thick cut bacon. Minor complaint that I received fried bread instead of toast, but it wasn't enough for me to raise it at the time. Nice coffee too! Even had some colouring bits for young kids, which is a nice touch.

This is the second time we have visited while on holiday the first last year. Very reasonable priced on meals they serve and very good food, the service is very good and staff very friendly. I came to Bridport to meet friends who lived not too far from here to have a catch up and a meal. The pub itself is decorated with lots of bits and pieces of memorabilia, a lot of it related to sports, and has a cosy feeling inside. We had fish and chips for lunch, pleasantly surprised with the size of the fish, which tasted good too, and the chips were nice and fluffy on the inside but crispy on the outside. Mushy peas were pretty good too. All in all it was a really good portion size. Good selection of drinks on offer, I had the Dorset Gold cider which was a nice change from lager which I normally drink.

From the moment we walked in with our two small dogs I had high expectations. There is a great ambiance here, and the decor is great, fresh flowers in the ladies loo is an extra nice touch. For lunch I had local mussels, absolutely delicious and hubby had faggots which he thoroughly enjoyed. Looking at their flyer they have a lot going on from live music to quiz nights and a book club and even more. I wish this pub was in my village but we will be back to visit again before long.
