We came here for dinner whilst on holiday and were super impressed. The staff were so friendly and accommodating to families and we all enjoyed our food. In particular the shepherd's pie and the seabass special with crab mash. Would recommend a visit

The Turk's Head Inn is a traditional family-friendly pub located in Chickerell near Weymouth. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family. The pub is operated by Mark and Debbie, who are the most welcoming and friendly hosts you could ask for. They are always happy to chat and make you feel at home. The pub has a large selection of beers, wines, and spirits, as well as a full menu of pub classics. The carvery is particularly popular, and for good reason. The meat is always cooked to perfection, and the vegetables are fresh and crisp. There is also a wide range of sides to choose from, so you can create your own perfect meal. The best part - you can order one to takeaway! Overall, the Turk's Head Inn is a great place to visit for a delicious meal, a drink, or just to relax and unwind. Mark and Debbie are the perfect hosts, and the pub has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

First time visiting The Turks Head 20/9/24 For the wake of a true and special friend. The staff were wonderful, the pub itself was spotless clean. Lovely old feel and lots of wood. This goes for the loos too, fresh and clean. They provided a cold buffet which was of good quality, some home made food, the coleslaw was thick, creamy and a fantastic taste. Highly recommend a visit if you are that way.

Excellent Sunday Carvery, twice visited now. The veg is perfect, not overdone & all very fresh. The staff are friendly & on the ball considering very busy. Great atmosphere, a true country pub. I called ahead to add another person to our group & mentioned we had a dog (bar only) when we arrived a dog bed was by our table for the dog! How great is that? Really impressed! They also gave left overs straight from the carvery to take home for the dog in a sealed container. Extra incredible service, take away Sunday dinner! They were flying out! Can’t take advantage as live too far away, but great for locals. The owner here has great foresight for business & runs a tight ship. Well done!

Chesil Beach Cafe

What a find. Been down to the Chesil Beach at the end of the road Abbotsbury Sub Tropical Gardens are on many times but this October this Cafe had appeared. Discovered they had opened in May this year. Wonderful friendly staff. The best hot chocolate I have ever had. Delicious. The Bacon, brie and cranberry sandwiches are just right on a cold day. But the very best is the almond croissants which are massive and best eaten warm. Keep coming back and even on the coldest day a very warm welcome is guaranteed. Thank you.
Rating: 5 / 5
Excellent coffee (this comment is from a coffee snob who has been looking for a decent coffee for several days!) and really delicious almond croissant. Love the fact you have to 'tap the crab' to pay! I would highly recommend this little gem in a beautiful spot.

The weather wasn't too great but our welcome was warm today. Very best of luck to Sally on her new venture. We enjoyed some superb coffee and cake and great lunches. Doggies made very welcome so Lily wants to return ASAP for some more Doggy Doggy Yum Yum ice-cream. A fabulous hidden gem just past Abbotsbury Tropical Gardens and right near the beach. Go visit!!!

Lovely inside, and the service was impeccable! Me and my partner both ordered the mussels and they came in a huge frying pan! Absolutely delicious! And the octopus special for starter was beautiful as well! Very pleased we gave it a go

Wow. Everything about this place is amazing. So glad we chose to eat here on our last night in Weymouth. The food was outstanding and so were the hosts. The flavours of the food were delicious. We will definitely come back here. Chef is fabulous, as are the hosts, and the atmosphere made us feel like we could stay for hours, a lovely, family run venue with 5 star food and generosity. Thank you Greedy Seagull. Best meal I've had in a long time and a great way to end our holiday. Back to Portsmouth we go 😪 X

Delicious and plentiful food. My family of four came here and we shared 3 starters consisting of calamari, octopus and garlic prawns. All were delicious but my favourite was the garlic prawns. For our mains we had the paella, burger, mixed grill, vegetable tagine and scallops. All were amazing. But very filling, so I would recommend coming here on a an empty stomach. The staff were all very friendly and kind, especially the owner, Sukanya, she'll make sure that your dining experience is one of the finest. All together a fantastic experience.

Well presented little breakfast place....a very good variety of food, breakfast niceblittle fundbon the seafront......food was nice just not enough for yhe price could have done with a little bit more....or the option of adding to the breakfast but for where the place is it was ok £9.95 for a large breakfast wasn't really wroth the money could have done with a little bit more

Beautiful coffee / breakfast place right on the sea front. The staff member was very friendly and listened to what we wanted and even adapted the food for our needs, lots to choose from all cooked to order, we went quite early so wasn't too busy. It was quite pricey for what you got, but I suppose that is in line with other places, and all the food was delicious. There's a toilet for customers too and seating outside the front of the cafe that overlooks the road and sea.

Excellent little cafe on the seafront of Weymouth. Super friendly staff, very good quality food and drinks on offer at very reasonable prices. Came for breakfast and thoroughly happy. Lots of locals&tourists regular this place.

Lovely and clean. Food was excellent. Staff were lovely and friendly. Made a big fuss of our dog. Prices were good. Cannot fault the place at all

Stopped off for lunch at Bella’s today and WHAT A TREAT! With so many places to choose from and it being our first visit to Weymouth we were sure where to choose but it was nice and busy - always a good sign - and the menu was fab. Attaching some pics of the nachos and the home made burger. Great portions for amazing prices. You can tell the food is homemade with love and care, everything was delicious. They are also catering for gluten free and dairy free so to be able to order without worry was a real delight you can’t find in many places. Wondering where to eat in Weymouth? Absolutely definitely choose this gem!

Very tasty brunch! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The iced coffee was lovely too. It was pretty busy, which is always a good sign, but the staff was so lovely and we didn’t have to wait too long. Highly recommend this place! It's my new go-to spot whenever I’m visiting Weymouth and fancy a brekkie or brunch! I will definitely try lunch next time. We also got seats outside, which was very nice. The meat sausages and bacon were fresh, and everything was top standard.

By far one of the best breakfast I’ve had in ages, really lovely little find, good value for money and lovely and clean, like the fact you order and pay at the counter. Lovely views of the harbour. Would suggest booking as it gets busy.

Lovely foods and ambience. Tried thier vegan breakfast and it was yum 😋, my husband got Full english breakfast. Portion was absolutely perfect. Well done 👏
Rating: 4 / 5
We went to Custom House Cafe for a lovely breakfast this morning. The full English was good and my husband was very happy. I had smashed avocado with poached eggs on toasts. It was delicious too. The coffees were nice and we were early (9ish in the morning) so there weren’t much traffic on the road while we were sat outside. We got to enjoy to lovely view across the other side of the harbour.

This is our go to place for deli’s food, hot drinks and ice cream in the summer. Opted for the ‘winter warmer’, Hot Turkey Baguette with a side dish of frittata fries. Homemade coleslaw accompanied the warm and moist baguette that was totally delicious. It was a filling meal and the americano hot drink was also accompanied with a homemade star shaped ginger biscuit. Service was excellent and the staff are always very polite. This is also a dog friendly cafe.

Excellent homemade meal. First time here certainly not the last. The food was hot and plentiful. Super portions. Loved it. Will be back.

Lovely traditional cafe, actually opens early enough for breakfast (most cafes seem to open at 9 or even 10 in mid-September). Starts getting really busy around 9, so best to go slightly earlier. Service is wonderful, the staff made us feel so welcome we went back the following day. Food was good and substantial, nothing fancy, but good stuff and good prices. Jacket potatoes for breakfast fueled us for a long hike in the sun, and the egg custard tart was wonderful: light and not too sweet!

Lookout Cafe
Bowleaze Coveway, Weymouth DT3 6PL, UK | Cafe P: 01305 833459
Rating: 4.6 (1302) Price Level:
Popped in for a quick bite to eat after visiting the Roman temple ruins. The cafe has the perfect location looking out over the bay, and has seating both inside and out. Staff were super friendly and even though it was fairly close to closing time they were incredibly accommodating. We had the seafood platter, and even though they did not have a lot of crab meat, they offered to make it up with another part of the platter instead. That being said, the platter had a great portion of each of the seafoods, and the salad was very good too. Personally I really enjoy radish in salads so glad to see it here. We also got a milkshake and a smoothie, the milkshake was a great refresher and my partner said she loved the smoothie. Finally we also had a couple of cakes to finish our lunch, I had a rocky road which was superb, and my partner had the largest slice of coffee and walnut cake, which of course I helped finish off. Definitely worth going for a nice meal with a view!

Recommended by my friends cousins and wasn't disappointed. Great breakfast and coffee. Great views across the bays! Must be good as we left at 10 q was well out of the door!

I fly kites at Bowleeze Cove common ground, and the Lookout is right next to the field so it's very convenient. They provide great food with good sized portions and the freshly ground coffee is lovely especially on a cold day. Would recommend 👍

EBIKE CAFE @ Deheers

Rating: 4.7 (135) Price Level:
Despite being regulars in Weymouth for years, we've never made it to EBIKE CAFE... until now! Happy to report that we had a really nice Sunday morning brunch, sat outside on the harbour. Despite no frittata, the lovely Gina made us perfect Pancakes, awesome Avocado (on sourdough) and a sensational Sunshine Smoothie Bowl; all generously portioned and washed down with a really good flat white. Will definitely be on our regular list now. Recommended!
Rating: 5 / 5
Lovely spot to have some refreshments, a nice choice menu with a good airy seated cafe. Plenty of seating choices. And good friendly service. Menu choices were good and healthy. Would highly recommend coming here.

We dropped in this morning for family brunch and it was fantastic. Warm, friendly informative service (thanks, Pauline), really attractive environment and super food. The avocado and feta toast got great reviews as did the pancakes with fruit and bacon. Very dog friendly with treats on the side. This will be a repeat event

Last month on our mini vacation we found this cafe by walking around. It looked busy even on that Thursday morning and we didn't want to miss the opportunity to try. Properly run business where a customer feels like a valued customer. The breakfast time was over but I still asked if they could do the porridge bowl. And they made it for me! Beautifully looking and very delicious food was that! We also tried the vegan chocolate cake and we liked it so much that we bought more for take away. The staff had an excellent attitude towards their job & customers and they were very hardworking. They have colouring books for grown ups and kids as well if you prefer to be creative while having a coffee/ waiting for your food. We left satisfied and happy. Glad we popped in and I can only recommend this cafe. P.s. dog friendly place. We regretted not to bring our Labrador out as he would have enjoyed his visit too.

Wife and I stopped for Saturday dinner very welcoming and friendly staff. Wife had Bubble and squeak with Haddock from the specials board and I had steak and Tanglefoot pie. The food came out and was piping hot. Cut into the pie and was filled to the top with delicious steak and gravy lovely short crust pastry with had not gone soggy like most pies do. Beautiful creamy mash and lashings of gravy. Haddock was done perfectly as was the egg on top. Would fully recommend. Beautiful tasty food.

Absolutely gorgeous vegan sunday roast, potatoes in particular were amazing. Lovely staff who were very helpful, definitely recommend!
Rating: 5 / 5
New owners apparently since last year and glad to see they still have good menus plus a specials board. We visited late evening on a Monday night and pub was rather quiet but found staff very welcoming. Had a couple of good main meals selected from the comprehensive menu. The specials board was very enticing, especially the duck breast. We did also have a dessert, both having the sticky toffee pudding, a generous portion.
Rating: 5 / 5
Loved it here. We had Sunday roast. Carvery. Delicious. The beef was cooked to perfection. And the veg were fresh. Just a little thing was that as we went later owing to tables not available earlier, the roast potatoes were dry and hard. The cauliflower cheese had gone watery. Desert choice was good. We returned and I had shepherds pie which was accompanied by chips and peas. The other meal was a steak again cooked to perfection. The staff were very welcoming and efficient and helpful. Very nice pub restaurant. Will return definitely

Oliveto
Pier Bandstand, The Esplanade, Weymouth DT4 7RN, UK | Italian Restaurant P: 01305 839888
Rating: 4.5 (1004) Price Level:
We came for the beautiful view whilst eating and to scope out the menu and ambience for a hopeful venue and private dining. I can honestly say we were blown away. The building outside isn't the best or overly inviting, however once inside it's very beautiful! The menu has great choices and a big note that they do gluten free pasta on request for a small extra charge! With coeliac parents this is a huge plus for future visits with them. Our food was just delicious and plentiful we had starters & mains, wanted desserts but nicely satisfied so instead asked for the bill, a very reasonable price for a wonderful meal. We had a quick show around the private rooms as they were busy but we were very impressed with everything, we can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Italian restaurant situated in a former bandstand on Weymouth beach. The restaurant has recently been renovated , to a high standard . The staff were friendly and very attentive , keeping an eye on empty drinks , plates being clearing away or new courses to be brought . We had cocktails.. very good. Seafood Pizza .. excellent Melt in the mouth chicken with roasted vegetables and a mushroom sauce , followed by a very tart lemon sorbet . All very nice , but not on the list of recommended food on Google ..
