Lovely little coffee shop and deli. Brilliant service and lovely staff. The coffee and cake were fab. We actually got some takeout food for later on as we had an early flight the next day. It was so tasty, homemade chilli was delicious.

Most delicious and generously-filled Coronation Chicken sandwich I think I've ever had! Always a lovely place to stop by, with caring, friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere. Feels like being welcomed into someone's home and warmly looked after from the moment you arrive ☺️⭐

A hidden gem in the middle of Charlwood village! Delicious and hearty breakfast along with a wide ranging menu of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and snacks. Not far from Crawley, Horley or surrounding areas. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely dog friendly cafe in a beautiful village with lots of outdoor seating. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. They have a good selection of lunch options. The only critique we would make is that the coffee and walnut cake had little to no coffee in it. But lunch was delicious.

Cafe with quite a large garden area (partially covered - they have a heated yurt!) which is well done up and nice to sit in. Good selection of cakes and drinks with table service. A bit pricey though!

First time came and amazing village… we had latte and duck (which is full)breakfast which was very delicious. What amazed me was the breakfast was hot till half way through as I ate slowly… lol. Anyw, that was super tasty for me. The whole experience was lovely and we planned to come back again some time in the near future.

Had a lovely breakfast at the dabbling duck. The staff were all very friendly and service and food could not be faulted. There was only one fly in the ointment. We sat inside the cafe as did a lot of dog owners. My friend has allergies and is a bit wary of dogs so it was a bit off putting to her. They were also all a bit over excited and ‘talking’ to each other which made it hard for us to converse. I’ve no objection to well behaved dogs but not everyone feels the same for various reasons and they are not necessarily just being intolerant. The Dabbling Duck has a large heated marquee outside as well as covered heated outdoor seating. Would it not be a good compromise to welcome dogs only to these areas and keep the small inside seating area pet free. Other than that small niggle it was a lovely brunch before a bracing walk in beautiful countryside surrounding Shere.

This is my second time in Shere and at The Dabbling Duck. I came last year as well. I travel from New Zealand and love coming to this place with my family here in England. Great food and staff.

What a gem of a pub! We popped into The Bell on Sunday for a roast and... boy, did we strike gold! 🟡⛏️ The food was mouthwateringly delicious, with the meat seasoned to perfection and the veggies (root veggies, you rockstars) stealing the show. And the portions? Let's just say you might need to loosen a notch or two on your belt. The service was zippy and super polite, making us feel right at home. We did miss out on the fabulous outdoor seating at the back (rookie mistake), but we still caught some rays post-feast☀️. This charming old pub has a fantastic vibe, and it's a definite must-visit. The food was great but the service was not so great. Waited 50 minutes from the time of ordering for the food to arrive. There were only 5 other tables with people at so not massively busy. No one came to clear the table or ask if we wanted dessert. I had to go up to the bar to get the menu and order them.

What a lovely place to watch the fireworks! Parked easily, managed to get a table and chairs for the while evening. The food was very tasty. We had burgers and chips, and it was the nicest burger I've had in quite a while. As for the fireworks, they were brilliant! We will definitely be back before the next display.

Top marks all round for this country pub and restaurant. Pleased to see they source produce from the local BrightLeigh farm and was one of the reasons we chose to visit. Staff were all welcoming and friendly, service was good and the food was excellent. Loved being able to sit outside and enjoy the Sunday afternoon. Highly recommended

Stopped here for coffee and breakfast, the Latte didn’t contain enough coffee and was very light looking and watery. The service was slow and my sandwich took over 20 minutes to come! It was however a great bacon and egg sandwich on soft white fresh bread, great size and taste.

Just moved to the area, and what a find this place is. Really friendly owner and staff, lovely cocktail bar, and fab food by a talented chef. Great portion size, I had to take a doggy bag home 🤣 and all different types of regular entertainment each week. Will definitely make it our place to go to.

Deserves a 6/5 star if i had the option! it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with tasteful décor and cozy seating. The food is outstanding. The dishes were a flavorful masterpiece. The wine list is impressive, and our server's recommendations were spot-on!! The owner visited our table multiple times, ensuring everything was perfect and sharing delightful stories about the dishes. His genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome. This is my go to place in Horley. My Nan has gone here for years, sadly she passed last year, we keep our tradition by visiting each month. Every time I have eaten its been great food, the jacket potatoes are amazing. I love the staff, not sure if they are brothers but you just cant beat the food for the price. They give large portions and I love their coffee! they even do Soya milk for my Granddad. Recently went to the cafe in Woodhatch I was unimpressed will stick to my favourite place our orange cafe. Their salads are so yummy with little sweet chili sauce. Love you guys

I go to Natters for a filter coffee and a cake every day and have done so for many years. The best ''Guest' filter coffee is precision made at the table, the cakes (my favourite are Tiffins) are Vegan. The coffee and all their cakes are excellent. The young staff are friendly, kind and hard working. When it's very busy there can be a delay but it's worth the wait. The best place for coffee in the area.

The food was amazing and staff were great, they accommodated to my dietary needs without hesitation(which are not the easiest to accommodate to!). The food tasted great and the service was top notch. Adorable cafe with inside and outdoor seating. I saw on the menu they do a pre-book afternoon tea as well! The loose leaf jasmine tea was a bit strong, but the pot was a very nice piece and my avocado toast was the delish. They compensated for our group of 6 and we all paid separately very easily!

Stopped here on a charity cycle ride from London to Poole. What an amazing pitstop for 15 minutes. Internally, the cafe is incredibly cosy, with a quintessential English feel to it, in a quiet, bucolic setting. When it comes to cakes, they offer all the classics, and by the taste of the granola bar I ordered, I reckon they have the recipes bang on. I also noticed a wide selection of teas, which I will have to try next time. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area and “gasping for that cuppa!”

Amazing place , amazing staff and I love coming here. Have been there before as well. This time reached after 3 pm so food options were limited . So we tried hot chocolate and scones and loved both. Fruit Scone was really really nice. Next time I will try the cheese scone :)

My husband and I and our dog went to the Shipley bridge and had the lamb shank shepherd pie it was amazing we then had sticky toffee pudding which was so nice . The staff were so lovely and friendly the service was great our dog was made so welcome too . Definitely will recommend the Shipley bridge to all my friends and family

Had a young lovely sever called Darcey she welcomed us with a warm smile she quickly and happily got our drinks as well as the brownie we went to go for as always it’s a must have it’s 1 of the best brownies I’ve had the pleasure to taste. Definitely recommend!! Chris at the bar was lovely to go up and get drink had a lovely chat. And a sever named Penny was warm and chatty looked like he enjoyed working there. Lovely place to visit

As part of a big chain, but the experience was that of a restaurant where the staff cared . The service was fantastic and pretty fast. There was 6 of us and most had the 7 hour slow cooked rib, which was unbelievable. If I was to suggest an improvement it would be more roast potatoes. Drinks and puddings added. A very enjoyable Sunday lunch with my family and I’d definitely come again.

It’s definitely an American cowboy set up and very well done at that! Saddles, wagon wheels, wooden beams and cowgirls to take your order! Very good atmosphere, nice low lighting but you can still see your food. Very comfortable. Our waitress was attentive and the service was good. Burgers and chips were big portions and tasty. Not as hot as would have liked, and the chips were not as hot as expected. Otherwise the meal was satisfactory. Great for a family night out and some dishes I would come back to try. Definitely recommend!

As an American, I was pleasantly surprised. This was better than I expected. The burgers were large and legit, service was also fast and attentive. Fajitas were decent, but not my favorite (they put hot peppers in, not customary for U.S TexMex food). Overall, worth a stop.
