Dan was extremely professional: friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable. We had consulted him regarding an old apple tree which had a number of dead and rotten branches and had requested a decay assessment diagnosis. Dan gave us plenty of useful advice and reassurance and it was decided that we didn't need the assessment as keeping the tree maintained, cutting out the dead and rotten branches, not allowing the crown to get any larger, and relieving the compaction beneath the tree by removing the grass and mulching the area, would enable the tree to see out its remaining years. I called Dan with a view to using his services relating to potential subsidence on a property. After giving him the rundown, details and scenario he ventured to advise that while he could do exactly what I wanted, it was not really what I needed and pointed me in another direction. As a professional (ret.) Procurement Manager it is always refreshing when you come across an individual or company who doesn't want to just take the money and run. They were extremely responsive and professional and, following a site visit to our home, provided a comprehensive tree survey, including extremely helpful advice and guidance on the care of our trees.
