This is the most beautiful cafe I’ve ever been in, worth visiting for the glorious architecture alone. Laura and Shona served us, they were very friendly and efficient. It was lovely to sit there admiring the beautiful windows and elegant decor, even the loos were stunning! The cake was pretty good too! We’ll be going there regularly.

When you walk through the door, you are met with a sense of incredible calm. The interior is tastefully designed and there is plenty of seating. Service is friendly and efficient and the food is excellent. We had the Thai influenced curry which was subtle and delicious. There was no sense of being hurried. Although I have not attended any of the entertainment evenings I have heard that they are particularly good with quite a variety of different events. Definitely worth the diversion at any time of the day.

Lovely evening with family and friends and my current partner! The service was lovely soon as we walked through the door! We pre booked a table as we no it can get busy especially on a Saturday evening. The service was fantastic and the food was great! Couldn’t fault the staff at all! The venue is always welcoming! We will be definitely be coming again!

Had a trip down with my mum & grandma for a belated birthday shindig. The table service was outstanding, we asked what cakes were available & were given a full list & description before making our choices. Would highly recommend a visit for somewhere local. Prices very reasonable & certainly competitive. Thank you very much for a lovely visit.

Wed 4 Dec 24. Had our works function at the new chapel, a fantastic looking building in a slightly rundown location (believe that could be resolved within the next few years) the new chaplet itself is fantastic inside very well maintained with good decor the high ceilings and extra space make this place an ideal venue or gathering for any works function or professional outing The staff are super friendly and will help you out with any needs and requirements. The New Chapel has a great selection of hot and cold drink with alcohol free if you want. I would recommend in the Winter month take a warm too as with this being a chapel it difficult to keep the building warm. Highly recommend for a romantic meal for two or likely we did a works party.
