Visited The Rose & Crown yesterday for a Baby Shower party in the on site Old Barn. Nice Shepherd & Neame pub. Very well kept & clean. The Guiness was superb & the staff very helpful & friendly. The barn is a great venue for a party of up to 60 people. The real fire was great for atmosphere & taking the chill of a typical spring day. Will use again.

Visited on a cycling trip, didn't go in so can't rate it more highly. My friend bought the coffees this time. , I enjoyed sitting in the garden, there was room to park the bike and rest up.

We visited today for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed! We sat outside on the terrace in the shade which was very pleasant. Our server Damian was absolutely marvellous! He was so attentive and thoughtful! He heard my 4 year daughter say she wanted a Yorkshire pudding but she doesn’t eat roast dinner so when her sausage chips came out she was super excited to see a giant Yorkshire on her plate. This made me super emotional as its little touches like this that mean so much. He was patient and great with our kids and I am even got an extra Yorkshire because I didn’t get own that last time I was at an elite pub. The food was delicious, the children’s came out with our starters and our main came out shortly after and was piping hot and very much enjoyed by myself and my husband. All in all a wonderful experience and would highly recommend and are sure to come back soon. Thank you to Damien and all the staff

Had a last minute Sunday meal at the Farmhouse today and was very impressed! Fast service, tasty food which was piping hot. Very attentive staff without being overbearing. Family friendly, highly recommend, just a shame we couldn’t stay longer.

Went to our team meal and this was my first time at The Farm House . A very pleasant venue which has a public car park nearby. I chose the Terrine to start , Venison sausages and mash then Crumble to finish . Excellent 👍🏾 Staff are very attentive and friendly. Define somewhere I would go again .

Malabar Coffee House

81 High St, Sevenoaks TN13 1LE, UK | Coffee Shop
P: 01732 743055

Rating: 4.2 (223) Price Level:

Good choice of savoury snacks. We chose muffins, bacon & tomato and cheese & tomato and both were good for a light lunch. Tea was loose leaf and a good flavour. A little tight on space but comfy nevertheless with a friendly atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. However the prices are a bit expensive. The Pain Au Raisin was moist and tasty at £3.95. The medium flat white coffee was also very good but at £4.15 was very expensive.

I stopped off at this coffee shop this morning (Sunday) on the way through and what a little gem it is! The two young ladies serving were lovely, the coffee -flat white was sooo nice and nicely made and I brought a cinnamon bun which was still warm and delicious and a rocky road and chocolate brownie - which have not been eaten yet. I wish we had a coffee shop like this in London. Lovely

We stopped at Malabar for a small lunch. We had the ham and cheese croissants, and a latte & iced latte. The ham and cheese croissants were lovely and the coffees were quite nice too. The regular latte was a little on the small side though. It is small and cosy inside. I notice they sell their own coffee and have a great selection of quality teas as well. We enjoyed our visit ☺️

Teal Café

Rating: 4.4 (753) Price Level:

I've driven past on a few occasions and have always noted that they seemed to be busy so I finally decided to take the family there for breakfast and I was pleasantly impressed. It's a lovely setting with a really good menu. The service was excellent so I'll definitely be making Teal Cafe a regular visit.

Having passed here hundreds of times in the car, it was about time I stopped in for a full English. I was pleasantly surprised with how large the café is, and that it was relatively packed too considering it's quite out of the way. The decor is really lovely, and it feels cosy inside, and you can bring dogs inside too. The staff were great, and really friendly. We had the Teal Breakfast with black pudding added on, all the elements of the breakfast were perfectly done to my liking, and the egg yolk was still runny too! Will definitely be back for another fry up at a later date

It's busy so noisy at peak times and the parking spaces are small for modern size cars but ... none of that matters with lovely staff, great coffee, and tasty food. It's not the cheapest cafe but it's cheaper for what you get as it has quality ingredients and quality staff... I was meeting a client as it is a convenient location with parking.... given the service and food etc I'll be meeting clients here again...

Decent coffee, efficient service, pleasant outside seating area. Not the best value coffee I have ever had, but that’s Sevenoaks. A short walk from the car park, and convenient for shops, this is a good place to have coffee when shopping.

The Moat

London Rd, Wrotham, Sevenoaks TN15 7RJ, UK | Pub
P: 01732 882263

Rating: 4.3 (1282) Price Level:

The staff at the moat are friendly, the food is very good and prices are ok. The wait was longer than I'd expect and we had to find someone to order coffees before our meal. I would return on a less hectic day as this was just before Christmas and they may have had a member of staff off or something so will definitely return as overall I left with a positive experience

The Moat itself is the perfect winter wedding venue, it’s cosy yet spacious , beautifully decorated and the food is incredible! They aren’t phased by dietary requirements or tailoring the day to the individuals. If you are engaged, get to the Moat for a tour and book your perfect day! Prices are very competitive, and the accommodation is perfect too. No need to go anywhere, the whole day is effortlessly hosted on site from start to finish. Thank you again for giving us special memories of our perfect day! And even better, we can return for our anniversary celebrations in the future to dine in your equally wonderful restaurant! Just had the most amazing meal for my birthday with the family. They have been so accommodating and the food was absolutely amazing. We all had different and everyone said how lovely the meal was. The staff were so friendly and on point. It was so busy too but it was so cosy and relaxed we didn't have to wait at all between meals considering how many of us there was. We are not that local but will definitely be going back again. We'll worth the journey out. Thanks again for the perfect birthday meal xx

Had my two young grandchildren with us on Friday evening and they were welcomed and catered for. Really can’t fault the evening and will most definitely return … infact planning to re visit very soon.

We cannot recommend The Moat enough....the truly pulled off the most incredible wedding for us. From our first visit, through all the planning and the day itself we had exemplary service, care, warmth and organisation. They made everything so easy, were willing to go above and beyond and put us at ease. Special shout out to our coordinator on the day, Amy. When we arrived the day before to drop off our stuff she was so knowledgeable, helpful and calm as well as bringing such a positive vibe. All our family and guests commented on how wonderful she was. The space is just so beautiful and all the facilities (including the hotel rooms) are top notch. The food was particularly spectacular, we had the family style service and everything was delicious, hot and plentiful. The team at The Moat liaise with all your vendors and make everything so easy including the registrar people, band, photographer etc. It's the perfect venue if you want somewhere that's going to make planning straightforward but at the same time not feel like it's just a cookie cutter wedding venue that pumps out weddings on repeat. The place is somewhere we'll always go back to as a pub for years to come and it's got a lot of character and charm. It was also comparably great value, wedding prices are usually extortionate but I think their rates are very fair. We had the best day of our lives and highly highly recommend The Moat to anyone looking for a venue in the area.

Well, I don’t know what I was expecting but I was incredibly pleasantly surprised. Impromptu breakfast this morning to plan my day, I walked in to ask if they had an outdoor seating area but the whole downstairs of the restaurant is doggy friendly! Result! The mocha was banging and my goodness my avo, bacon and halloumi on toast was so good I almost fell off my chair after the first mouthful.

Found this lovely cafe on a wander round Sevenoaks - it’s very cosy inside, the people running it were very friendly and chatty. Its also dog friendly on the ground floor, our two little dogs had a relaxing wee time there. Food was delicious we had some panini + salad meals, amazing pancake stack and soup. All yum. Will be back next time we’re in Sevenoaks.

Some young, inexperienced, bar and service staff. Breakfast disorganised and slow. Other staff very good. Due to type and age of property there is no lift and the room floors slope. Pretty village, lovely place to stay and get some r & r. Excellent venue for a wedding or engagement/anniversary/birthday party etc.

I had booked another hotel for my partners 40th birthday. When we arrived it was awful and I decided not to stay there. We found the Bull and thankfully they had one room available! The staff were so welcoming and the location is lovely. Our room was homely, clean and comfortable. We had a nice view from our window and we both slept well both nights we were there. The only sound was local church bells which was really nice :) On the first night we ate in the restaurant. The service was excellent, the waitress was really friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! We had breakfast both mornings which included juices, yogurts, cereal, tea/ coffee, toast, a range of marmalade, jam and honey and the option of a full English breakfast. The breakfast was also delicious and the service at breakfast was also excellent. The restaurant/ pub/ bar area is a really nice place to sit and enjoy a meal or a drink. We would definitely recommend the Bull as a hotel and as a restaurant. We’re really lucky we found this place after the bad start to our trip and my partner ended up having a lovely birthday! Thanks to everyone at The Bull!

Good conversation from the waiter and you just feel all the staff are pleased you chose to visit. Would not hesitate to recommend and hope to return.
