We had a cooked breakfast at The Signal Box café at Hollingbourne station this morning. Excellent food, good coffee and tea selection and a friendly atmosphere. After sitting empty for years, the traditional Victorian station building has been sympathetically refurbished with comfortable tables and chairs and even fresh flowers on the tables. We didn't try the cakes but will do next time, they looked excellent!

A lovely, quaint little café in an old station ticket office. I had a decent coffee and a nice BLT, choice of bread. Decent clean disabled toilet. A little gem of a find.

What's not to love? A superb example of how a community rail project can provide an excellent facility to the local community using existing buildings. Also great friendly service and a good selection of drinks, bakes and light snacks. We should all get behind and support initiatives like this, you won't get it back when they are gone.

Lovely little cafe tucked away off the road, directly beside Hollingbourne railway station - parking can be a little restricted but plenty available when I visited first thing Saturday morning for breakfast, a cup of tea and a takeaway coffee

The whole experience from the initial call for help, right up until bidding him farewell was exceptional, prompt and very reasonably priced. I have used Adam for 3 jobs now; fitting some extra sockets, putting in an outside light and moving a ceiling rose. I found Adam to be very professional and trustworthy. I had two different issues with electrics in one part of my house, one of which was how another electrician left it. Adam found the faults and explained very carefully the different options we had to getting power back into the rooms. He carried out the agreed work the same day and got it all working which I didn't think would be possible. He tested the electric circuit and explained what it meant. I'm very happy we decided to use Adam and have no second thoughts about recommending him to others including friends and family. Thank you.

Had Adam come on several occasions. Very professional, clean, tidy and reliable. His workmanship is second to none. We wouldn’t use anyone else now for all of our electrical work. 100% trust worthy we always leave him a key so he can come and go during the day while we are at work, so much easier for us having someone we can trust while we’re not home.

We booked Ian (ETE Electrical) to carry out a survey of our building wiring, as he was from a local business. From quotation to completion of work, the service was first class. Ian attended site when stated, completed the work as agreed and left the premises very clean and tidy. He was professional and trustworthy. He made the whole process very easy to understand and explained what work he was going to carry out for us. We have now arrange for Ian to return every six months to maintain our fire alarm system, which is a comfort to know, as he clearly cares about the service he provides to his customers. We would 100% recommend anyone using ETE for their electrical requirements.

Ian undertook the job of replacing the original wiring in my 1960s rental property. He was helpful, honest and informative from the first consultation, confirming and explaining the necessity of the work due to the poor insulation readings and age of the wiring, advising on the number and appropriate placement of sockets and switches, and highlighting the possible problems and potential extra costs that might occur during the job. He was punctual and easy to communicate with throughout and contacted me immediately to discuss any issues. Ian was fantastic at working round the couple of problems that arose, and was able to find solutions without saddling me with extra costs! When the job was completed he cleared up thoroughly. Ian is always my first port of call for any electrical work I might need. I trust his expertise and honesty and I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Installed a new small fuse box in my garage and fed a supply to a new shed and a summerhouse. Really great job completed 100% as requested and within the timescales and costs quoted. Everything properly tested and even done an extra job for me in a spare 10 minutes. Great job, thoroughly recommend.

We recently fitted a new kitchen and needed a reliable and good electrician to help us with the basics, plus an intelligent lighting system. We found Onic on google and we couldn’t be happier. John provided transparent quotes and really good communication from the outset. Very reliable, knowledgeable and a high standard of finish,which is not easy to find. The work was completed under lockdown conditions and we were highly impressed at the measures John took to ensure all were safe throughout the work. In addition, we’ve been living on what feels like a building site for a while now and we were so impressed that John made sure that at the end of the job our new kitchen was left as clean as he could leave it before the next stage began. John and the team have been with us all week and they have done a fantastic job. Super professional and really friendly, most important their work is top notch! The team are a pleasure to have around the house, easy to get on with and really knowledgeable, Professional, courteous and respectful of any covid safety elements. They have done a lot of jobs for us, the main job was replacing lights with spots/down lighters in every room and changing all the switches to Lightwave smart switches so the whole house now runs on smart lighting. Additionally john fitted smart relays for our outside lights and programmed them all, and installed a security camera and extra sockets. Anything electrical I need in the future will be a call to john and Onic electrical. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have had many electrical things done in my home by Nathan and I would just like to say highly recommended. He has put in outside power point and outside light. Hung flat screen tvs on the walls and put new light into a very high hall and a new light fitting in the kitchen.

Followed a full EICR check with some extra work to update power safely for my garage, new fusebox for in there and also the house: extra sockets now fitted and channelling work done for hidden cables for a wall mounted TV .Updated smoke alarms installed,and replacement extractor fitted to bathroom.All done really well and finished neatly with no fuss, and the guys were very courteous and neat and tidy. Gave this restaurant a try for the first time and was very impressed. Varied menu with all dishes cooked to a high standard. Large portions, so you will definitely come away full. Outside doesn't look very impressive but a comfortable and spacious seating area inside. Our children also enjoyed their meals. Easy parking next to The Yeoman which has it's own spaces but also free 3 hour Village car park.

We went there after doing the lights trail at Leeds Castle. We were seated very quickly after arriving even though we didn't have a booking. The service was generally good but we had to wave a few times to get our water jug replenished. The food portions were good and all the dishes were tasty. My son had the scallops as a starter. I thought they could have used a little more colour. I wanted the seabream but unfortunately they had run out so went for the prawns instead as a main. Very tasty 😋. My son had the fish stew main which was given the thumbs up. It was served with flat breads, which though lovely, I would personally prefer a more crusty bread. My other half had the moussaka, which he enjoyed. He had it with the side salad. For dessert my son tried the baklava. Too sweet for me, but a generous portion. My one disappointment with this place is the kids menu. It has 3 items only, all meat based. It's £10 but doesn't include a drink or dessert like a lot of kids menus tend to so if your kid is vegetarian or doesn't like bolognaise or Chicken skewers then I'm not sure what your options are. My daughter had the skewers. She loved the chips but as the skewers have a lemon based marinade she wasn't so thrilled about that and didn't finish them. It wasn't a cheap evening but the food was tasty and the portions sufficient, however I would consider a venue with more to offer for kids.

I would give it 10 stars or a Michelin star if i could. The food is that good. EVERYTHING tastes amazing. We had the chicken livers, prawns and scallops to start, which were well seasoned and beautifully presented. The scallops were garnished with samphire and pistachio nuts, which was a surprisingly amazing touch and added so much flavour. The best scallops I've ever tasted. For Mains, we both enjoyed the cod...on a bed of well-seasoned mash and lobster sauce. Again, it was beautifully presented and tasted out of this world. The service was IMPECCABLE. We had a new starter waitress, who was on her first evening, and she was so attentive and friendly. The manager is amazing too. He beams pride in his restaurant and is so friendly and welcoming. All the staff just seem to enjoy their jobs and were all just as accommodating. This is now my absolute favourite restaurant. They're going to get sick of seeing my face, I'm going to be there so often!!

We took my mum to Yeoman for a belated birthday lunch. Vini the Manager made us feel so welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant. Our order was taken by Kelly. She was lovely and friendly and so polite. The food was exquisite!!!. Beautifully presented, and so delicious. We were so looked after. The best meal we have had out in a very long time.
