I had fantastic Samosas that took me back when I was little, good amount of heat, although it's a bit pricey since I paid ยฃ7.45 for a little nibble but still gets a good review, I believe this place can stand out! :)

I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The menu is a testament to culinary creativity, offering a diverse range of dishes that cater to various palates. Each dish I tried showcased the chef's skill and dedication to using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff with Sri Lankan hospitality who made me feel welcomed throughout the evening. They were knowledgeable about the menu, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring a seamless dining experience. As for the food, every dish was a masterpiece of flavours and presentation. The attention to detail was evident, and each bite was a burst of taste that left me craving more. Whether you're looking for a romantic evening, a celebration, or just a fantastic meal, this is the ideal choice in Ashford. I left with a satisfied palate and a desire to return for another culinary adventure. Highly recommended!

I got the best South Indian and Srilankan food here. It's awesome quality and quantity at affordable prices. The only South Indian restaurant I love in Ashford. Especially this Saturday meal that was awesome. Will visit regularly. I think this meal combo is only available on Saturdays. South Indian people and Sri Lankan people should never miss this one.

We stopped off in the lovely little Wye after a morning walking on the North down Way. We had afternoon Tea and coffee, with a wedge of chocolate Tiffin in the lovely little Wye coffeeshop & Kitchen which is nicely set on the corner with nearby free parking. We loved it and definitely recommend a visit. Ps The thunder โก and hale stones where a little suprise after walking in sunshine most of the morning

Best cheese scone EVER!! No, really, it was awesome ๐ Good selection of food and drinks, both got and cold Funky decor with mismatched chairs, tables, benches and stools. Massive exposed beams that hint of the history of the building. So cool that dogs are welcomed, especially as people walk across the Downs with humans and dogs alike! Quite a serious member of staff, but attentive

The White Horse
The White Horse, Ruckinge Rd, Bilsington, Ashford TN25 7JX, UK | Pub P: 01233 721487
Rating: 4.6 (564) Price Level:
A popular and busy pub with great atmosphere, excellent service, and top food. I had ribeye steak and it was perfect. Great crust, exactly medium rare and melted like butter in my mouth. The service was excellent from all, but in particular Lucy, who dealt with the most of our table.
Rating: 5 / 5
I randomly came across this pub during my cycling trip and I have to say that I have a truly great experience there. They accepted to cook a fish and chips even though the kitchen had closed. Food was delicious and everyone was very kind! I very much recommend this pub and hope that i'll have the opportunity to go back! Thanks again to the White Horse team for such a nice moment!

We were fortunate enough to stumble across this exceptional country pub. We were welcomed by the landlord and patrons and sat by the fire. Sunday roast was faultless and you can have up to 4 choices of meat/veggie options on one plate. Also there were complementary sanitary products in the toilets!
Rating: 5 / 5
Every time we have been here the food, service, and atmosphere has been great. Even when we have had a very early dinner the staff chat to you and you donโt feel youโre eating at the library. I recommend this pub restaurant. We will be back and we will take people with us. Reliable and consistently good. Thanks to all the team.

I recently enjoyed a Christmas menu meal with some friends, and it was a wonderful experience.I was happy with the delicious vegan options on the menu and my friends thoroughly enjoyed their non vegan options. The food was cooked very well. The waitresses were attentive, cheerful, and incredibly helpful, ensuring we all felt welcome and well taken care of even with my requests of extra gravy! Each course arrived quickly at the perfect time, with no rush but a lovely flow to the evening. We all had a fantastic time.
Rating: 4 / 5
The first time I've been here in a few years ,it was ok. The food was abit pricey and I wasn't a fan of the chips because they seem like they were cooked in a fryer? (tasted fatty) but were ok . Unfortunately the 2 puddings I wanted to try (my 1st and 2nd choice, not 2 puddings at once) they were out of ,and I'm not a fan of nuts , so I missed out on the brownie . But my friends had it and it looked lovely (if you like nuts), the tart ta tan also looked lovely but I had eaten too much to fit that in by that point. What I didn't realise was the nachos (specials menu) was a sharer ....but me being me , I ate it all to myself . The cocktails looked good too ๐ Plenty of parking, nice outside area and toilets were clean and nice
Rating: 4 / 5
All in all, it was a pleasant experience. Food was nicer than expected and reasonably priced. Service was on point, although it was fairly quiet when we went.

Stopped in recently for a midweek meal with my partner and dog. Very friendly team who even fussed Tia (the dog) and brought her a bowl of fresh water. She loves them! The food was fantastic!!! Atmosphere was wonderful and I left with a big smile on my face and a very full tummy. Thank you all so much for a lovely midweek date night. Can't wait to do it again!

A perfect gem 10 mins from the Le Shuttle exit, a great stop for breakfast for heading on our journey. Well priced and not a spare table showing its popularity. Do not take card so make sure you have some cash.
Rating: 5 / 5
Best fry up in Kent! We only ever come here for breakfast, so we haven't tried their lunch items. However, their breakfast is incredible. They have a few different fry up options for you to choose from, I always get a set 1, and I change the option for chips or bubble to hash browns. The set 1 and other options comes with crusty bread or toast and a tea, coffee or cold drink. It is cash only, but there is a BP around the corner with a cash point. However it does have a ยฃ2.50 charge.
Rating: 5 / 5
I love the food here , a good proper breakfast!! A good selection of food to choose from and the bread And butter is proper bread and butter ! I'm talking fresh bread ๐ My only dislike is the noise levels ,not their fault at all. But when there's a lot of people in the cafe it's extremely loud, but you can eat outside if it's a nice day. The prices are reasonable but it's cash only. Parking is limited but you can park along the road and walk up. Wheelchair and pushchair accessible.

Had a breakfast here for the first time, staff friendly, efficient service and generous portions. Very good would recommend

If I could give this 6 Stars I would. First time here. Lady who served me was full of life and chatted and joked with everyone. Proper sized mugs of tea and coffee. I had a bacon baguette and they used Tiger bread which made it even more delicious. Others were having the full English and they also looked very good. Toilet and facilities were in immaculate condition. Slight downside was they only took cash. However, if ever I'm in the area again, it would be my first choice.

The closest thing youโll get to a Nepali cuisine in the UK. The service was amazing; everyone greeted in a Nepali namaste. The silverware, table, and the washroom has been the cleanest one Iโve ever been to.
Rating: 5 / 5
We dined here twice as first experience was very awesome as they were fully booked when we called but they took the time to call us back when they had a slot available and we had a late night dinner as we had no one place to go. When we arrived the food was awesome and we tried most of the options on the menu and the food was amazing hence we came back for lunch the following day. My friends will also be sharing their experience here soon. I have attached photos from my order. Must try is the C Momos and Chicken Biryani.

Boyfriend and I dined here last night and WOW!! The food and service were both excellent. The young lad who served us was absolutely lovely. Food was absolutely 10/10. I forgot to photo the goat thali but it was better than most we had in Nepal! And the Pani Puri was to die for ๐โค๏ธ. Will be back!!!!

We had a great meal here. The service and food here is amazing. The young lady who was serving us was really sweet and mindful. The food we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend goat curry and rice, steamed momo and Thupka. I only wish the curry was a bit more. They even gave us some discount on the overall bill. Cleanliness and hygiene were other two things which were top notch. Highly recommended.

Excellent customer service and delicious Sunday roast! A hidden gem near Ashford Outlet, perfect for a relaxing Lunch. Highly recommend!
Rating: 5 / 5
To our delight, the food arrived promptly, piping hot, and without the usual long wait times. It certainly feels like there's been a change in management, and if so, they're off to an excellent start. Wishing the new team every success โ we'll definitely be back!
Rating: 4 / 5
This pub is a hidden gem. It is walking distance from the outlet shopping centre and fairly close to the Centre of Ashford. You wouldn't know it on approach but this pub has a serene riverside beer garden, traditional seating inside and a new (at time of writing) play area for kids. The food was excellent. We stopped for a lunchtime snack. Between us we had a fish finger wrap, a sausage baguette and the Cajun chicken and bacon salad. The salad was amazing with tender and flavoursome chicken. The staff were friendly, calm and couldn't be more helpful.

Rating: 4.2 (174) Price Level:
My lovely local pub such wonderful servers and atmosphere would totally recommend good selection of drinks and crisps making it very inclusive for everyone. It is also a dog friendly pub with treats for the dogs.
Rating: 5 / 5
I love stopping at The William Harvey pub whenever I visit family in Ashford, or picking up relatives and bringing them for a drink. It's a lovely atmosphere, friendly locals all making you feel welcome and a great selection of drinks. The pub has a lovely cosy cottage type of feel as well in the winter, or you can enjoy the sun in the garden in the summer. Haven't had food so can't rate that but an all round, great pub!
Rating: 4 / 5
Great service and a good drinking session. Lovely bar inside and loads of seating outside. A bit of a shame they don't do food/light snacks as crisps and nuts only get you so far!
Rating: 5 / 5
Love this place. Rachel and Chloe are amazing. Extremely friendly, very relaxed atmosphere, almost a home from home. If you are a pet owner the pub is dog friendly. They have actively engaged with the local community and run, crib. darts, pool and a football team as well as sponsoring and putting on events for local good causes. Thank you guys for all the hardwork you do. X
