Very good restaurant in Deal. Menu is interesting with non banal meat and fish preparations. Food is well prepared and tasty. Exciting selection of wines also by the glass, including many from England. Friendly service. Recommended!

We came here for a special occasion and were really pleased by the service. There were lovely touches recognising the special occasion when we arrived and this was much appreciated. The food was excellent and there is a good selection of wines, including lots of great English wines. Very happy to recommend this restaurant.

Had very tasty meal here, food was very good! Did not realise that they had second floor in the restaurant as well! Friendly staff, only downside was that being seated upstairs, all people left early and we were only people left upstairs and seems like staff sort of forgot about us. But overall good experience and tasty food, would like seat next time downstairs. Would go back again.

We have passed by a few times but did not realise it is dog friendly. Glad I stopped by and asked. The starters were roasted goats cheese with beetroot and pes shoots and pulled brisket tacos, we shared and both were very good indeed. Main courses were herb crusted roast cod for me. It was served on new potato mash and was a really nice dish. My husband had the buttermilk chicken and that looked perfect too, he said it was great. No room for dessert, maybe next time. The place is lovely, lots of art everywhere and it is for sale. The staff were lovely, friendly and did a good job of making sure we had a great evening.

Called Ryan to update electrical items throughout the house. He arrived on time and got on with the job completing it to an excellent standard. He explained what he was doing whilst here in terms that even I understood. We then called him out again for another job, he investigated, found out the fault and rectified it, another job well done. Would definitely recommend Ryan

Ryan undertook quite an involved electrical upgrade for us as part of our new kitchen and bathroom project and general refurb of our home. All his work was carried out efficiently with the minimum of disruption to us. He was happy to answer questions and explain things. On top of that he was always on time on the days we were expecting him and always cheerful and polite. I would definitely recommend Ryan and would be happy for him to help us with future projects.

Ryan came to look at a job which unfortunately was too damaged to be repaired. However, he had a go at it before making everything safe and advised on the follow up. He was punctual and very knowledgeable. I will definitely call on him again.

What an amazing find! The Corner cafe serves the tastiest, most wonderfully cooked breakfast and lunch classics…and they have a cake trolley with beautiful home made cakes (the Bakewell slice is to die for) Easily the best cafe in Deal!

A warm and friendly welcome on arrival. We sat outside as today was unusually warm for February. We both had omelette, which were excellent followed by cake, which was also great. Recommended.

First time there and will definitely be back. Extensive menu all prepared fresh to order, really good food. We had a mixture of hot (omlettes) and cold food (baguettes & salmon avocado toast) which was all delivered to the table together. Some outdoor seating and within walking distance of Walmer Castle. Friendly staff and good value. Also sells small antiques!

Visited here on my way to Walmer Castle after seeing the reviews. Fab food, friendly staff and a much welcomed cup of tea after walking from Deal on a very hot day. Would thoroughly recommend if you are visiting Deal 😊

A nice cafe opposite the co-op supermarket and the Mill Inn pub. Generous portions of food and at a reasonable price, all nicely cooked and didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive. I bought a bacon and cheese omelette with chips and beans along with a can of lemonade for £9.10. Seating available for over thirty five customers. Been meaning to pop in here for ages. What a lovely little gem. Much bigger inside than I expected. Staff were really nice, chilled and helpful. Spotless. Excellent value breakfast for £7.45. 2 bacon, 1 egg, sausage, chips and beans Tea was good too. Perfectly cooked. Sausage, chips and egg were particularly yummy.

We have been here so many times and each time it is a great experience! We always say “It’s the best Polish bistro in town”. The value is amazing, food so good (try the vegetarian pierogi) and Slava and Andrew are great hosts. There’s so many regulars and a really friendly atmosphere.

I've been here several times now over the last couple of years. Slava and her husband are really lovely. She is more front off house and I guess he cooks, but I think she makes most of the cakes, although I may be wrong. It looks tiny from the outside but has a garden out back. The food is really delicious, and wear a belt that you can unfasten as the portions are generous and the price is very good for what you get. You can tell everything is really fresh, as Slava will tell you how many of each item she has, and I love that. Polish people travel far to go there for traditional dishes so that is always a good sign. If you like alcohol with your meal you can bring your own and pay a cork charge. I would highly recommend and leave you with a couple of photos from my Sunday lunch Tried the all day breakfast today (04/09/24) amazing. Filling and really tasty, I don't know how they can do it for £6.50

I sincerely recommend this Polish restaurant, you can eat delicious, traditional Polish cuisine here. the place itself is very friendly and has a nice, homely atmosphere. The portions are really large and the prices are affordable, you can't leave this restaurant hungry. We will definitely come back here again

We had an absolutely wonderful evening at Engel’s Paradise in Deal. From the moment we arrived, the hosting was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was simply delicious, all freshly made in-house with incredible flavors. You can tell the care and passion that goes into every dish. As a family with a baby, we were particularly touched by the thoughtfulness in providing a swing for our little one, making it a truly enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the evening felt like a real treat. We can’t recommend Engel’s Paradise enough and look forward to coming back!

Luke installed a Wi-Fi connection to an outbuilding for us. It was a job a couple of people had not been keen to do as there were some complex areas but not only has he done the job but it’s been carried out neatly- even tidying up other wiring as he went. Really happy with the job he has done and really keen for him to come back and help me with some other tech jobs!

Luke is a good electrician and a helpful young man. We have worked together on a number of projects, and I have been very pleased with all Luke’s work. He is keen to be accommodating and tries to fit in his work to help keep other trades moving forwards which is beneficial to both the client and the overall project.
