I wanted to post a recommendation. My little rescue cat Lily, was diagnosed with stomatitis a year or so ago by conventional vets. I did not resonate with the treatment they wanted to give her, so went holistic via research on the Internet. However after some months of improvement I went to Birgit for an assessment. To cut a long story short, my Lily is impossible to get to the vet, for me anyway, but lovely Valentina, the new vet, has made several visits to monitor Lily's progress and supplements, and give her acupuncture. I just wanted to say that after Valentina's visit today, our little Lily called for us and showed herself rolling around showing her tummy, something hardly ever seen. Even though I have done lots of research for Lily's health, it is so reassuring to have Valentina to look at her and examine her every so often as Lily also needs acupuncture for her emotional health and it is obvious that she is much happier. And also Valentina is wonderful in examining Lily in corners, in cupboards or other hidey holes. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you so much Valentina and Birgit. Our dear little girl is so much better after her hard start in life.

In late September 2023 my Labrador sustained what I thought was an injury to his lower back. He was very distressed and in a lot of pain. Naturally I rushed him to the vets and after a couple of weeks on anti-inflammatory and pain relief drugs he wasn't better. We were referred to specialist vets for scans, MRI's and tests to discover he had a degenerative condition called IVDD (bulging discs). Treatments were offered but all of them were invasive, carried huge risks and crazy expensive with no guarantee of success. He was also on very limited exercise which, any Labrador owner would know is very hard to manage because as a breed they need lots of exercise! After researching his condition and looking at alternative treatments I started taking him to hydrotherapy which is where I was recommended Birgit. Being keen to avoid surgery/invasive treatments and the damaging effects of him taking long term drugs I contacted her and we began our journey of acupuncture, Chinese herbs and homeopathic treatments. Birgit has been incredible, she has worked her magic and as I write this today I have a healthy well exercised Labrador not needing surgery, invasive treatment or drugs. I honestly can't recommend Birgit enough, we are both so grateful and I will ALWAYS champion the holistic route for any of my pets health needs. Birgit, we both thank you so much, you are so very special to us.

Just a quick review for Dr Birgit. We took our little 7 year old Chihuahua x Yorkie( Lily) to Birgit when she was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. That was over 7 months ago and Lily is doing fine. Quality of life is excellent and shows no signs of deteriating. In fact She's as active and cheeky as ever. I think the outcome with a traditional vet would have been pretty poor and would have meant a lot of vet visits and separation not to mention some big bills. We have not been apart from Lily once and could not be more pleased with her treatment and of course the fact that she is still with us and doing so well. Thank you Birgit. You are wonderful.

I cannot thank Birgit and her incredible team enough for the care and support they provided for my beloved dog, Blue. From the very beginning, Birgit’s holistic and natural approach to veterinary care was exactly what I had been searching for. Her expertise and the wonderful therapies and remedies she recommended gave Blue a longer, happier, and healthier life than we ever imagined possible. The entire team at the practice has been so kind and compassionate. Every phone call, every medication order, and every word of support meant the world to me during some very difficult times. They genuinely care, not just for the animals but also for the families they help. When we sadly lost Blue, at age 16, the thoughtful sympathy card they sent with personal messages from the whole team brought us so much comfort. It was such a kind and touching gesture. Blue was a truly special dog—a beautiful soul who brought immense joy to our lives and touched the hearts of everyone who met him. He wasn’t just our pet; he was family, and in many ways, he rescued us as much as we rescued him. Birgit and her team gave us precious extra time with him, and for that, I will always be grateful. I highly recommend Birgit and her team to anyone looking for compassionate, expert care for their pets. An outstanding & compassionate service. Our elderly dog needed an emergency vet & from the first phone call to the latest visit we have never felt more at ease or listened to. Due to her age we have had to see vets quite frequently & John and his team are the best you could ever hope for. You truly see the personal touch and the love for animals that chains don't offer. Even for end of life care we could not go somewhere else. The pricing structure is very reasonable and test results explained so well. I will be recommending these vets to everyone we know. A hidden gem and we are so thankful to have found them.

John and Saba were absolutely amazing with our recent tragic and unexpected loss of our cat Bella. John saw us without hesitation and spent 1hr with us 10:30pm to 11:30pm Friday night. He administered multiple medications and pain killers to make Bella more comfortable over night. We then called John and Sabba out for a home visit on Saturday morning when we had to make the devastating decision to put Bella to sleep. John and Saba dealt with Bella and us with great compassion and we can’t thank them both enough for their kindness and efforts to make Bella as comfortable as possible and to allow us to say goodbye to Bella at home rather than having to take her into the practice. We shall be forever grateful ❤️ xx

Professional service all the way through. From the initial registration, to booking the appointment, to explaining different options best suited for our pets requirements,to the Vet really caring for our little fur baby, and again sharing experiences of different training techniques for our puppy without forcing them upon you, a great balance in my opinion. One of the most compassionate yet professional vet practices I have come across. The staff are lovely and my dog loves going in there. We had an excellent experience with his neuter surgery where he healed beautifully. Today was my first visit to Heronden Veterinary Practice with my dog Teddy. Very easy to find, good size car park. Receptionist was very welcoming and friendly, made a great fuss of Teddy, which he loved. The vet was also very friendly and helpful. He was great with Ted. I'm so glad I made the change 😊

We have recently joined Heronden Vets after a bad experience at a previous vets. All of the staff have taken time to get to know Roddy and reassure him. He gets spoilt with lots of treats and fusses. We have decided to take Roddy along weekly to try and get him used to it, all of the staff have been so patient and understanding. Thanks to Heronden the vets has gone from being a bad experience, to a much calmer and relaxed environment for him. On Monday I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog Barney as he had reached the end of his life. It was a very hard decision to make. However, it was made easier by the kind care and guidance provided by the vet Dr Oliver Daniels from Silver Gate Vets, who helped us handle the sad process. Also for arranging everything with Di and Kat from Barnshaw Pet Crematorium. I appreciate the gentle way they collected Barney immediately afterwards and dealt so thoughtfully with his cremation. I am forever grateful for their services.

Last week, Wednesday 1st February we had to make the gut wrenching decision to send our 18-year-old cat to heaven after a short battle with cancer. We had already decided that we wanted at-home euthanasia so that our cat Fudge was peaceful and in familiar surroundings. Oli went through the process step by step so that we were aware of the changes that may happen during the process and what to expect. He made sure to let us know exactly what was happening and reassured us that we were making the right decision. Even down to the details of his cremation such as where he was going and who would be doing it. Ensuring us he would be taken care of during his final journey. What was supposed to be a stressful and traumatic experience was turned into a quiet and peaceful send off for our cherished family cat. And for that, we thank you.

Oli came along to my home at very short notice, when it was time for my little cat Mae to be put to sleep . She hated the vets and I didn’t want to put her through that . Oli was so brilliant - kind, professional and respectful . I was dreading the whole thing, but his manner helped to make it all go calmly and smoothly . Thank you Oli 😌

Cannot recommend enough. The thought of having to take our beautiful Tilly to the vets (which she hated) for her final moments was awful but she had deteriorated so quickly and on a bank holiday Monday we thought we might not have any choice. The decision was incredibly hard but Silvergate made the whole process stress free. Tilly was at ease the whole time and it was just as though she had drifted into a peaceful sleep, comfortable in her own home, loved and with her family which is all we could have asked for her. Thankyou for making our final moments with her so peaceful.

Dafne vets have always gone above and beyond for my Doggies! They have always been professional but with so much compassion! I am so grateful to Nikos and his team for giving my beautiful Girl Lottie an extra 18months with us! I came to Dafne Vets a couple of months ago for a referal and have never left! I couldnt have found a better veterinary hospital! They are truly kind, knowledge, take the time to explain everything, and most of all treat your pet as if it was there own in such a loving way. The first time I walked I, I was greeted so kindly, by Sara at reception, who was knowledgeable and put me at ease immediately. We had a truely wonderful vet Emilia who I can't thank enough! She looked at Milo referral documents on her day off. Did an altrasound, and investigated throughly, he had a small surgery, the stitches were so neat and he's healed amazingly, she is truly a gifted vet, treating Milo as if he was her own. I now never need to worry, and feel lucky to have found such a great vet and veterinary hospital. Thank you, Milo Robins and his mum ❤️

I signed both our Cats up with Dafne Vets this January after a difficult time with another practice. Our little girl Mabel has been cared for so well. Firstly she needed to have all her teeth extracted which was worrying for us but was carried out with absolute care. She is now a different little cat. Yesterday I needed to take her back as she was very lethargic. Again she was treated with care and professionalism. I highly recommend Nikos and his team at Dafne Vets

Our new little Puppy Winnie had her jabs and was very settled and calm with the lovely vet on her first visit. The vet gave us lots of advice and booked Winnie in for her next 4 week check. A very pleasant and lovely visit.

Our cat was recently registered at Beacon View and we have been very impressed by the excellent standard of service and care provided by Claire and her team. We took Dinky in for boosters and annual health check initially and Claire was so patient and kind, taking time to make Dinky feel comfortable and relaxed, the experience was entirely stress free for all. There is a designated cat waiting area and the surgery is welcoming and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended

5 star treatment at Beacon View Vets. Had an emergency visit on Christmas Eve and the team there did a fantastic job of looking after the family pet dog following a seizure. They kept us fully informed during the few hours she was there, ensuring they updated us when they said they would and making sure we knew what to do if it happened again.

My cat was referred to Beacon View for dental surgery. All the staff were super friendly and attentive - great communication, including pre-op call and post op check in to see how she was recovering. Surgery seems to have gone well with no complications. If I lived nearer, I would definitely register with them!

First experience of them since moving to Headcorn . Very efficient and friendly and put themselves out for you . Very impressed so far . My cat is very 'spicy' when vets are needed and my previous vets always made it feel and inconvenience, this definitely didn't appear to be the case with Green Lane ☹️

Dexter loves and I mean loves this vets i take him and he's eager to go through the door , Frenchie very vocal lol and they are so good with him! I wouldn’t go no where else! This is a great, friendly practice. It’s reasonably easy to get an appointment, there’s always been parking available and you don’t have to wait around for ages. I first visited with a friend and immediately changed from my previous practice, as the vibe was so good. Even my dog likes it!
