Gavin has been teaching my son Piano now for a few years. Apart from being a very patient and talented teacher, we really love the flexibility that Gavin allows. Some lessons are remote and if we need to reschedule, Gavin is always amenable.

My son who is now 17 has been with Gavin for just over 5 years. He has a weekly piano lesson and I don’t recall him ever saying he doesn’t want to go. Gavin is very patient with his students, he is knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommended

Gavin taught our 10/11 year old daughter who progressed very well under Gavin's tuition - most importantly, she really enjoyed her lessons. Gavin tailored the lessons to ensure interest was maintained whilst ensuring the groundwork was achieved and the important learning structure was in place. Friendly, reliable, talented - an all round great tutor who I highly recommend.

Gavin is the dream music teacher I could ever wish for as a complete adult beginner. Very supportive, patient and able to adapt to everyone’s needs, he makes every lesson both challenging and accessible at the same time. Even though my musical background is (or should I say, was) non existent, you can see that Gavin is a true, talented musician with an impressive background in classical and jazz music, able to play and teach an impressive range of instruments. His two lovely cats make the lessons even more enjoyable ;) I highly recommend Gavin for anyone who wants to learn or brush their musical skills, you won’t regret it :)

I’m in my late 20s and started learning piano with Gavin about six months ago. He’s been a great teacher and picks up on the slightest improvements that could be made to my technique to improve my playing, not to mention him being an all round nice guy! Lessons take place in his welcoming home (with two cats pottering around). Gavin is clearly musically talented and his style of teaching is top-notch. I’d highly recommend Gavin to anyone!
