Lovely meal here today good drinks and food

I don't often write reviews but had to write one for this lovely pub as we couldn't find fault with anything. We visited on Saturday night for a spur of the moment meal out and have to say the food was the best we have tasted anywhere in a long time. The menu was big and varied with loads to choose from, including plenty of great vegetarian and vegan options which is a priority for me being vegetarian and there was lots of homemade and old school classics which my husband really enjoyed. The service was amazing, food came out quickly, the staff were friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere really good. It was by far the best place we have eaten out in a long time and will definitely return again soon.

The service was decent, barman/landlord was particularly friendly and helpful.
The food was spot on, nicely presented and just the right quantities.
Very reasonable meal, 2 mains, s deserts and 2 drinks £42.10.
Not at all bad in my opinion, definitely one to revisit.

Best meal I've had since I've been here. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff is warm and super friendly. The service is quick and efficient.

A delightful venue. Warm and welcoming. We enjoyed the Sunday Lunch menu as a large family group.
Attentive service from the young staff and great food to fill us up on a drizzly day. Certainly recommended.
