Went last night for Valentines day and as we entered was greeted with a rose and glass of champagne. The service was amazing and the food was the best Turkish meal we have ever had. The flavours were amazing and plenty of it. It was a set menu for Ā£35.00 pp and worth every penny. The friendly service you receive is fab. Definately going again soon! Their casseroles are to die for!!!!!

Went for valentines Restaurant was nicely decorated ladies were given roses, heart chocolates on the tables, great price for set menu. Service was pretty fast, food it self was tasty. Owner of the restaurant is amazing , approachable humble man and informative . Definitely goes extra mile to make his customers feel comfortable. Waiter was great, efficient polite and informative. over all great lady with willingness to serve . I would highly recommend family friendly, great for lunch and late dinners .

I recently had a Wisdom tooth extraction at My Dentist, Margate, which I was dreading, having had a very painful experience at another dentist whilst having a similar procedure. Fortunately I didnāt feel any pain, or discomfort during my appointment with Dr Ayub. I can recommend practice for their very professional and caring approach to patients.

Have been coming to this dentist for a few years now as a family of 5 we have no complaints. Helpful receptionists, nurses and our dentist is superb! Absolutely fantastic with all 3 of our children they are never worried, put at ease and generally like coming and seeing the dentist. Dentist is friendly, kind and funny towards the children. No complaints here feel very lucky to not only have a dentist in the current climate but a fantastic one too!

I recently had to attend the dentist as an emergency, the receptionists are so friendly and do whatever they can to help I normally see De but she wasnāt in. I saw a lovely lady I think her name was Geta she was absolutely fantastic, understanding, caring I felt at ease straight way. As always seen within 24 hours if there's a problem. Unable to see Dee today but was seen by Devina and the dental nurse (Nicola) who put me completely at ease Devina talked me through what was the best treatment. I was nervous about not seeing Dee but will be happy to see Devina in the future. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and Michelle always greets you with a smile. I hate hate hate the dentist. I didnāt go for years then I found a dentist that put you out. I went to him for 36 years . I moved to Birchington 2 years ago . It took me three attempts to keep my appointment. I have been three times and I canāt believe it. I am no longer afraid. The minute you step into the reception itās calm and friendly. I go to the lovely Dee who has really put me at my ease I actually come out smiling. Only wish I had found a dentist like this years ago my teeth would be in a much better state. Canāt praise this dentist enough. š

Julius provided a professional service from the first point of contact through to the completion of the electrical work in our kitchen. He responded quickly to our initial enquiry and assessed the work to be done. This was carried out the following week on a mutually convenient day and there were no hidden costs. Julius was punctual, approachable, knowledgeable and efficient. We will definitely be asking him to carry out additional electrical work for us and are very happy to recommend him.

Dining at the Parlour is always a delightful experience, and even after 10 years, it remains as exceptional as ever. Kelly and her daughter manage the front of the house, while Glen, a seasoned chef with a history of working in top Kentish Pubs, including the Old Coach & Horses, The Compasses at Crundale, The Chapter Arms at Chartham Hatch, and the George at Newnham, runs the kitchen. It's a family-run business with a strong family ethos. Glen sources all food locally and prepares it with care. Years ago, he transformed an ice cream parlour into the charming venue it is today, complete with original 1930s artwork on the walls. The menu ranges from ice creams, coffee, and homemade cakes to wholesome dishes reminiscent of childhood favorites, catering to all tastes and budgets. The parlour, situated on the outskirts of Birchington's bustling high street, is a popular spot for both locals and visitors, offering limited roadside parking. After an extensive refurbishment, they've reopened, ready to welcome both new and returning patrons. On my recent visit from Canterbury with a friend, a former patron of the Old Coach & Horses, we hadn't booked, but they graciously accommodated us. I messaged Glen en-route. I savoured the Slow Roasted Belly of Pork with crispy crackling and apple puree, accompanied by roast potatoes and vegetables, all brought together with a rich gravy reduction that was simply divine. My friend opted for the Sausage and Mash with Mustard Gravy, which was also perfectly prepared with a flavourful onion gravy. To finish I had a dark truffle chocolate torte dessert with sprinkles of frozen raspberries, and a raspberry swirl ice-cream, it was delicious. As others have said you got to eat here if you want the best in Birchington in my humble opinion. Well done to Glen and the family for keeping up the best standards.

Have just had my Motherās 100th birthday celebrations at Christies Wine Bar and Sue and the staff were amazing. They could not have done more to make the afternoon so special. We had a little sausage dog family meet up at St Mildred's bay. Highly recommend the place, very dog friendly, as we had 6 dogs between around 10 people. Outstanding service, exceptional food and an unbeatable location. As we weren't feeling hungry, we decided to have starters only. We had the calamari which are covered in tempura batter and this is one of the best I've had in decades, tender, tasty, juicy and delicious. We also had the grilled tiger king prawns on sourdough toast, these are truly tiger king prawns cooked to perfection, with a delicious garlic sauce. We finished off on the homemade scotch eggs which were awesome. Highly recommend for exceptional food service and location.

What a true little gem by the sea. Everything was five star, food exceptional, great atmosphere ,clean . Made for a perfect afternoon. A very pleasing disabled toilet, very clean, lots of hand rails and no clutter ( so many people want to put extras in disabled toilets as there is so much room,reality is that room is needed) so big well done. We will return.

If you are looking for a bargain - this isn't the place. If you are looking for quality, variety, exceptional customer service - this IS the place to come! Not only has the place got a fish monger, butcher, deli & cheese counter, it has a pizza parlour and a lovely cafĆ© as well as a wide range of homemade frozen food and a little pet corner outside. The staff here are exceptional and very helpful. The food on sale, especially on the fresh side of things is expensive, for example a scotch egg is Ā£2.75, however, it isn't a supermarket scotch egg! The products we purchased were of the highest quality and they are well worth the extra Ā£! The staff were brilliant, certainly worth shouting about especially the young lady on the deli / cheese counter today who was so nice. Certainly revisiting - Thank You
