We absolutely loved Golf Manor! We went there for the afternoon as a team building activity and work social, and we had the best time! We have very mixed abilities in the team (some nearly pro golfers and some total beginners), but Lawrence was brilliant at choosing the right games and indoor golf courses for us, and made us all feel at ease and enjoy our game. We loved the crazy golf too, which was proper crazy and so much fun! We had some drinks and then went downstairs to check out the new Shuffle Board, which is highly addictive and again brilliant for groups and teams, as anyone can have a go and no special skills or previous experience required. Highly recommended by all of us for an alternative experience of indoor fun and games š And super convenient to get to as well, right in the centre of Farnham.

We were a group of 13 celebrating some big birthdays by playing darts and shuffleboard. Lots of drinks were consumed (from beer and zero alcohol beer to wine and some spectacular cocktails). We also found the food extremely tasty - far beyond what weād expect of this type of venue! The owner and his team were great hosts - nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend!

It's hard finding something different for teenagers to do for their birthday, but my 15 year daughter and 11 friends had the best time here yesterday. Interactive golf and darts, and then shuffleboard. Lawrence, the owner was so welcoming and accommodating. I really hope the business goes well, there is something for everyone from children, to keen golfers to families or groups of friends. The tech they have installed is very up to date, drinks and food are also available, it was very clean and nicely decorated. Its easy to park and right in the centre of town. I'd recommend to anyone who fancies a slightly different day or night out. We'll be back as a family and with friends...especially when the gin bar opens soon! Thanks for a great time.

Been meaning to write this review for a while. I struggled to find places in outer London that have karaoke, until coming across Golf Manor Club. My close friends and I spent an evening here singing our hearts out and had such a fun time! Big thanks to Lawrence and his team who were super friendly and accommodating. Great space and a good selection of songs. Would recommend this hidden gem š

I played this golf course today in a match against hankley common 28/5/23 and I have to say it is an unbelievable golf course! Itās the nicest and best course I have ever played. Very picturesque. The greens are like lighting , very true and roll beautifully. The fairways are gorgeous. The club house is also good.. nice food and good beer on tap. I canāt recommend this golf course enough , you will not be disappointed.
Rating: 5 / 5
First and foremost, Hindhead is a must play golf course. It's different in a brilliant way. The front nine is rather unique and quite frankly exceptional to experience and play. I've played nothing quite like it in the UK, in fact anywhere. It left be breathless in more ways than one at times :). The back nine isn't quite as dramatic, but once again, it's an excellent nine holes of golf. From the pro shop to the bar staff, the whole off course experience is a friendly and welcoming one. The Aliss Bar is a lovely touch and brought back some wonderful memories. The photos won't do the course justice, so if you're in the area, please go and experience it all for yourself. You will not be disappointed - an exceptional course with the staff to match.
Rating: 5 / 5
One of the most beautiful and picturesque courses I have ever played. Though not in good condition due to heavy rain..
Rating: 4 / 5
Very good golf course and club. Last time I played the greens were glass table quick making any approach above the hole virtually impossible to two putt. Always enjoyable walk through the valleys with a further collection of very strong holes on the plateau for the back 9. Keep your ball out the heather if you can. When it gets long it can be a real card wrecker. Both times Iāve had lunch here itās been Michelin guide worthy. Great day out if you get the invite. Few better courses in Surrey.

The Hazelwood Golf Society had the pleasure of visiting Farnham Golf Club recently and greatly enjoyed the course which was in excellent condition. From the initial booking last year through to the day of the meeting, Joanne and Ben in the office couldn't have been more helpful, efficient and accommodating, and on the day everything was really well organised. Whichever Farnham members and staff we met, they were friendly and welcoming. The two course meal we had early evening was excellent as well as generous in portion size. My only slightly negative observation was the lack of buggies (apart from 2 single seaters) which prevented four of our more elderly society members from playing the excellent Farnham course.
Rating: 5 / 5
Great golf course in good condition in scenic surroundings. Tests every type of golf shot and is a great challenging course. You have to be in the right position in fairways otherwise you maybe blocked out by trees or in a bunker. Bunkers are of links type and use nice soft sand. Good facilities in clubhouse at reasonable prices. Will not hesitate to play this course again.

Absolutely 1st class service from the moment we arrived. I have played at many of the top courses around Hampshire,Surrey West Sussex and Farnham certainly beats them all when it comes to service and friendliness. The staff in the bar, kitchen were exceptional. The chef even came to the table to welcome us and make us feel welcome and help familiarise us with the place. All the bar staff were excellent, all happy and smiling. The pro shop and professionals could not have been nicer. The pro even came and sat with us after the round for 10 minutes to see how we got on, exceptional. Lovely time, couldn't fault it. The pro even allowed us free range balls to warm up, which by the way, the range is fantastic. 110% will be returning. Course conditions and views were up there with the best.

As a FGC member I feel luck to be part of this fantastic, friendly golf club. The course is in fantastic condition all year round and drains really well throughout the winter, temp greens really are a rarity. Golfers are rewarded for positional play throughout the round with a sound course strategy key, this is not a grip it and rip it course with wide open fairways and no trouble - being offline can easily cost you shots! The stretch between holes 5 - 12 is my favorite section of the course; I honestly can't understand why Farnham does feature higher in the England top 100. I have attached some of the pictures I have taken since joining the club in 2020, I cannot recommend coming and experiencing the club for yourself enough!

Simply delightful. This place oozes class and is one of the best courses in the country. New chipping area and range is fantastic.

One of the best - a fantastic course, very friendly staff, and a great clubhouse atmosphere and dining/drinks area overlooking the course at the 4th green.

A great course and clubhouse. The course is very scorable with some short par 5's. I found positioning off the tees was more key than other courses in the area.

A very nice course and an enjoyable round. There was irritation work in progress but was being done in a way that did impact on the round at all!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. On arrival, we signed in at the pro shop, the staff member working showed us around the clubhouse and directed us to the driving range, changing rooms and bar area. Which was a very nice touch. (Admittedly this was on a Monday morning, so wasnāt busy) The course was in immaculate condition, the bit of rain we had a few days back really helped to re-hydrate the course. We played the Purple tee boxes and on every hole the course demanded different kinds or shot shapes and challenges to get round the course. It really encourages you to play the course and not take out the āBig Stickā as many times as you normally may. The greens rolled true and again were in excellent condition. It is most certainly a course to be walked, but not for the faint hearted. The rolling hills and undulating holes means you rarely have an even footing. The half way house is decent. The classic Sausage roll & sandwich was welcome and tasted good. Overall, great experience and would recommend and go back again. Green fee: Ā£132 Played the course: 01/07/2024

Really nice golf course food is okay not nothing special but the golf course was beautiful
Rating: 5 / 5
Great course, beautiful pine tree lined holes with fantastic greens. Not the longest of courses but intelligent use of the land creates a challenge and blasting driver on each hole is not the way. Of course the choice available in Surrey for quality courses is so high but I would strongly recommend checking out Camberley Heath itās really a gem.

Played today 23/12/24. Despite recent rain, the course was generally dry and in very decent condition for December. Always enjoy the diverse range of holes on this classic Harry Colt course.

Great stay. Very professional and friendly service from Abbey the receptionist. The breakfast was delicious. The only thing letting it down was that if they are going to start selling as a hotel, there is no separate spa or swimming facility for guests only. Also, the rooms do appear as if they need a little refurbishment. Overall , lovely stay, staff were nice and there are enough facilities for a short break.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Fox Hill last year, and Iām just now getting around to writing this review! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly professional, helpful, and attentive, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself is charming, with so much to do on-site, including swimming, tennis, or simply unwinding in the spa. If you enjoy afternoon tea, I canāt recommend it enoughāit was truly exquisite. We also dined at the a la carte restaurant, and the food was nothing short of amazing, with impressive attention to detail. Breakfast was another highlight, offering plenty of choices, and the cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious. Overall, we had an exceptional experience, and I highly recommend Fox Hill to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Played the charming Par 3 Manor course. Was in good condition, only a few pairs playing, a great way to perfect your short game. They serve a great pint of regular Guinness, none of that 'cold or extra cold' rubbish š

Our Golf Society had a marvellous day at Puttenham Golf Course. There were 19 of us and we made to feel very welcome by staff and members alike. The golf course was in great condition and the greens were excellent. The facilities in the clubhouse and the catering were also very good. It was a great day's golf, and we were very well looked after.

We had our 40th birthday party here after our original venue double booked us; Andrea from the events team saved the day! The menu we had was great and what we wanted, the space for our party was big and has some outdoor space which was handy. Andrea and her team were very helpful and accommodating. The girls helped with putting up decorations and were friendly, polite and went above and beyond. We are so thankful. At times planning a party can be overwhelming and Andrea was lovely and helpful in putting our thoughts together and coming up with different ideas. Overall I would definitely recommend Puttingham Golf Club for any event you may have. Itās a great venue with lovely surroundings with helpful staff. Thanks Andrea and Team! You rock!

Played on weds afternoon 1.30pm tee off in Sept. The course was in immaculate condition due to the pro am the next day. A lovely selection of challenging holes that are quite hilly. No water but very scenic. Great course, nice bar area and friendly staff. Half way hut does drinks and snacks. Reccomended!

What can I say but what a fantastic day a friend and I had at Puttenham Golf Club yesterday. We had been invited back to Puttenham for lunch and golf. On arrival we were met by Andrea and her team, who were so friendly and helpful. Club Manager Tom even had time to come and have a chat with us. Lunch was fantastic, beautifully presented and far more than we expected. We played 18 holes of golf and the course was in impressive condition and we sailed round in very good time. To sum up a great golf course, amazing staff and superb lunch - thank you.

We were really unlucky with the most horrific rain, all day. But even with that and the 4 if us struggling to play any good golf, we brought a four ball to go back in the auction afterwards. That says it all really, lovely course and great greens, we didn't see it at it's best, but it was still great. Can't wait to come back with better weather. š

The club has recently installed a new golf simulator/ swing analyser and it is amazing!! Besides being able to play a bunch of courses on the simulator the swing analysis software is phenomenal! There is a ton of data that is recorded with each swing and having one of the clubās teaching pros working with you to digest and interpret all the data is essential if you want to sort out your swing! A great addition to a great golf club!

Great Surrey Golf Course A stunning example of a wonderful Harry Colt designed golf course located in Dorking just beneath Box Hill and in the Surrey Downs. Betchworth Park Golf Club offers a range of facilities from Membership to green fees for visitors and exceptionally well organised Society & Corporate Golf Days. There is a team of 1st Class PGA Professionals to help you whether on arrival or for a lesson to tune up your game. The function room easily seats 90-100 and is a regular host to a number of events. Make this a āmust-playā when you are in Surrey.

A balanced but testing course. In good condition and with speedy greens. In beautiful surroundings, have always enjoyed playing there. Clubhouse with a veranda - a nice place to muse over the days golf.
Rating: 5 / 5
Fantastic course designed by Harry Colt. Some beautiful holes, especially the 3rd and 4th and 14-16 corner. Greens are very good all year, fast and consistent, and in Apr to Sept are immaculate. Practice facilities are good - range, chipping and pitching area with raised green and bunker, and very well kept practice green. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful.
