I can thoroughly recommend Richard. He was prompt to reply to my first contact with him and provided a detailed good value quote for the work he would do. He refurbished a very dilapidated Victorian lamppost in our garden which needed glass replacing, old paint stripping and repainting. It now looks wonderful. He also repainted our summerhouse with wood preserver and replaced a broken leaded window in it. His work is very thorough and meticulous and I will have no reservations about asking him to do other jobs for us.

Very responsive to initial contact and then attended property promptly to assess needs and quoted quickly and favourably. 3 weeks spent doing all manner of DIY tasks that I'd neither skillset nor mindset to deal with. Workman was dependable, arriving daily on time and Jobs were finished in a high quality manner at good value for money. All jobs listed were completed as requested and while being undertaken the workman drew my attention to other aspects of the job with suggestions on further possible improvements giving me a sense of his reliability. I gave him a set of keys for access and departure as on some occasions I wanted to be out & about dealing with the demands of my day. In essence work was finished cost-effectively and speedily. Added to the worker's dependability and reliability things were completed to a high quality finish. Inside has now been completed better than I had planned and cheaper than I expected. Over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, while most of us were kicking back with chocolate eggs, Rich was hard at work treating, repairing and beautifying the woodwork in my garden!
