Really pleased with the work carried out to install 2 x extractors and a PIV unit. The work was much more involved than first thought, and the poor guy was working in our loft on the hottest day of the year! But he returned a second day to finish up and the original price was honoured. A pleasure having you in our home and feeling the benefits of the extractors and PIV as soon as they were turned on!

We brought a house with 12 solar panels just over a month ago. We knew the panels were not serviced or cleaned since installed 10 years ago (2013) We reached out to DES Ltd who completed a full service and cleaning service. Dan responded to my enquiry really quickly and came out to us the next day, resolved part of the job we needed doing sooner and gave us a quote and organised dates for further work. Dan took the time to explain different options to us, advised on what was worth spending the extra money on and what wasn’t. Dan was friendly, great communication, top quality workmanship and reasonably priced. Can’t speak more highly of Dan and would recommend him to everybody for any electrical work needed.

Hi I was recommended to Dan by a friend who is also in the electrical profession he and his apprentice arrived on time and replaced our old wired fuse box and checked the entire installation finding a few faults and rectifying them, he was quick, tidy and very professional and knowledgeable I must say that I could recommend him to anyone, thank you again Dan for your help!!

Dan did a brilliant job at fitting a Type 2 EV charger for our home which also required a new fuse board fitting. Notably Dan took the time before installing to help advise a suitable charging unit and furthermore showed me the upgrades installed from our previous fuse board, which I am now glad we have done (regardless of if we had an EV car) as it is a great deal safer than the fuse board we inherited after buying the house recently. Dan did such a good job we also used him for jobs required around the home such as dimmers, electrical wiring of new television in the wall, outdoor lighting and more. Would recommend and will continue to use for all electrical jobs we need in the future.

We have been using Dje Electrical for the past five years and been extremely satisfied with Daniel’s knowledgeable efficient caring service. We were recommended to Daniel after moving into the area. He has rewired the whole house and alarm system, setup our TV and sound system, installed outside lights and sockets. Put up ceiling lights . Installed new electric shower unit. He has helped and advised us on every job completing each job efficiently on time and very tidy. We cannot recommend Daniel and Tom highly enough for all the jobs completed.

During a recent storm, I had a full power outage. Ricky responded quickly and came out to fix the problem. He was professional and nothing was too much trouble despite it being late on a Saturday night. I cannot recommend him and the company enough.

Left a message and received call within minutes (none of the other companies returned my calls) Problem dealt with efficiently and professionally. An absolutely outstanding service from Chris and his two electricians. They worked on our house when we were away completing the tasks in the time that was arranged. How they managed to run wires/cables on coving and behind skirting boards was a marvel. They put all the furniture back in its place and left us with no mess to tidy up. We were expecting to have to plaster and decorate however this was not necessary. The two electricians who carried out the job even looked after our cat in our absence. Very highly recommended. Mike.

Whilst I was away on holiday I rang Ricky Stubbs (owner/ partner) he not only arranged the work to be done, he was there unbelievably quick and turned up when he said and completed the work to an excellent standard. The client even told me of her gratitude and was very glad to have the issues sorted so promptly. I will be using Chris Stubbs and son again for sure. Very reliable and friendly.

We came here for breakfast for my mum's birthday and it did not disappoint! The ingredients are of the highest quality, everything was cooked perfectly and the coffee was great. We were a table of 7 adults and a highchair, and the service was incredibly friendly and professional. The outdoor tables with a view were a perfect way to finish our morning with a coffee and a cannoli. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we look forward to returning soon!

Waiting for the car to get new tyres fitted at National Tyre (a Halfords Company.....) I stumbled upon this lovely little cafe and all of its quirky contents - staff included. A lovely Americano and a rich, crumbly and packed sausage roll proving to be just the restorative I didn't know I needed - even if it was proffered by the waitress to everyone before finding its way to its rightful consumer... hilarious, as I watched it unfold, and no grudge at all, it should probably write its own travel memoir).

Lovely owners. Mum makes the savoury food and her daughter makes the cakes. A choice of vegetarian and gluten free options alongside full English breakfast etc. Not a huge cafe but charming with seating upstairs as well as down. Chairs and tables are also set out on the green. Supper evenings available and the downstairs setting is super romantic.

I used Manna Kitchen event catering for an NHS Team Away Day. Communication from the start was responsive and helpful. On the day the food was delivered on time, fresh and delicious. It was really well-presented and labelled to accommodate all the dietary needs. The feedback from all those who attended (around 50) was extremely positive. Stopped for lunch at 'The Posh Partridge' when visiting Dorset on a combined business / leisure trip. It was a relaxed and pleasant place for lunch and both the service and the food was quality and nicely presented. The hot Pastrami sandwich I had was very tasty, as was the toasted Brie and Cranberry Panini. The cost for two toasted sandwiches and two diet cokes was £20.80

A fantastic cafe, serving delicious, well priced food. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed sandwiches, soup of the day, and the crab bisque, followed by treacle and ginger tart and Bakewell tart. All of this was homemade and the portions were excellent. This cafe is not to be missed!

A lovely lunch, luckily we found this one for lunch, only looked for it as I noticed the Sign a bit further down the road. Really good food. It was lovely and quiet for us, but I guess on a busy day would be just as nice as the food is good so this is what matters. Thank you so much. We were passing through Dorchester a few days ago and will certainly visit again.

Had the best Greek salad outside of Greece and my husband had the best Dorset Ploughman's lunch. Really delicious and well-presented food in a small, friendly café. Generous portion sizes too. You can't see the huge chunk of cheddar in the pic as it was behind the huge hunk of wholemeal bread! Highly recommended.

Situated in Dorchester, Yalbury Cottage offers a perfect base to explore the area and nearby cities such as Weymouth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, have recommended this place to others, and will continue to do so. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotlessly and well-organised. Additionally, the thoughtful touch of leaving brownies in our room upon arrival exemplifies their dedication to Yalbury Cottage and their commitment to providing each guest with an exceptional experience.
