I took my mum out for lunch for her 80th birthday today and we chose the mill. What a fantastic place! The staff were amazing! Kelly, Sophie and saffron did everything to make the experience special for her they even gave her a special dessert and told her it was free for her birthday! The venue was beautiful and the food was amazing! They left my mum feeling very special so thank you so much to the hole team at the mill! Kind regards Craig wolfe

What a cracking real pub. Proper English beer with incredible winter food that demands a long walk beforehand to earn all that goodness. And don’t miss the Bloody Mary’s; they’re world class! Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

We had a lovely Boxing Day and especially enjoyed the snug we were in and had to ourselves. Ellie was wonderful and a great waitress. I think though she handed over during our meal and we felt a bit left and not really served once she left. The food was delicious and we did have a lovely family time, so thank you.

I came for lunch with my elderly parents and a friend. We had a very lovely meal at a good price and excellent service. There was a nice atmosphere - with the tables far enough apart so that you heard your own conversation and not other people’s. We never once felt we’re being rushed, but at the same time felt we were being looked after by the staff. We had a roast and in the past I’ve had fish and chips and the burger - The rest of the menu is a bit too ‘foodie’ (eg mulled-wine cranberry sauce rather than the traditional stuff!) for me … But what we had was delicious.

We had dinner here last night and it was brilliant. A comfortable venue, a delicious menu and really friendly staff. The pizza and plant based burger were both great. The staff are young and friendly although a little inexperienced. I’d definitely return to sample more of the menu. Thanks

I had an amazing lunch recently! The food was absolutely spot-on, especially the Zucchini Fritti and the Coppa Beef Burger – both were delicious and so fresh. The staff were genuinely friendly and made us feel right at home, plus the service was super quick. I wouldn't mind if the lunch prices were a bit lower, but overall, it was a fantastic experience that I can't wait to repeat!

I really recommend this hotel. The rooms are cozy, the staff professional and welcoming, and there's a very decent restaurant. Free coffee offered to all guests. Will come back for sure.

Really nice atmosphere, food to suit all tastes, the normal pizza and burger or something a bit more refined. Can recommend the sharing platter special, the tuna and my mother in law had the trout and loved it. Truffles for dessert were ace just don't inhale when you put them in your mouth, cocoa powder warning!

I recently had breakfast here with my family and it was brilliant! The food was lovely, especially the Club Breakfast. The service was spot on too; the team greeted us warmly and made sure we were well looked after without being intrusive (thanks Amy and her fellow team members). Overall, a fantastic spot that I’d definitely recommend!

My friend and I came to try out the new brunch menu and we both selected the Bao Bun dish. It was a delicious combination of soft sweet bun, savoury marinated pork and crispy apple fritter topped with sirachi mayo and coriander. Very satisfying indeed! We also ordered prawn crackers and their signature Thai iced tea (with condensed milk and tapioca pearls) for extra texture. Perfect as a filling lunch that lasted us until evening 😋 Will definitely be returning to try out the other options on the brunch menu! The staff were friendly and attentive too which made the atmosphere most welcoming 🙏

Went to try their Brunch menu and I loved it. They have a very diverse menu to choose from like Korean style chicken sandwich, honey toast and Bao bun. I would definitely recommend this place and I can’t wait to go back to try more dishes. 🤤🤤

Went for a 10.15am brunch for the very first time me after a lovely dog walk at Waggoners Wells. Coffee made by Katie was fantastic. Cooked breakfast was delicious using locally sourced produce. Staff were warm and welcoming and made the whole experience a special occasion. Dylan the Springer was welcomed too and personal water bowl provided. We will be back!

I can honestly say the apple tree is a very friendly welcoming pub we have lone ladies coming in that feel confident and comfortable and safe walking into the pub by themselves. The negative post from lily which isn't the correct name was posted because the man who worked here was caught on cctv stealing money out off the till he has also done it in previous pubs in haselmere like the Swan.

We moved into Weyhill a month ago and The Apple Tree is the best local you could hope for. Sue and her team are absolutely brilliant, super friendly and most importantly, they pour a bloody good pint of Guinness! The pizzas we had were fantastic at the weekend and we’ll be joining the pub quiz on Thursday… great job everyone!

While company is everything, today I can say the company was a bonus to the location. Apple Tree isn't just a small local pub; it is a great atmosphere where all who enters are instantly comfortable, be it alone or in a group, or in our case, two tired people straight from a 10mile hike. The place is older, filled with character and obviously owned by someone with quite a sense of humor. (See the pictures) from the smile on the bartender's face, to the wacky plaques on the wall, to the beautiful and quiet garden out back, I loved every bit of my.moment here. Definitely worth returning.

I only ate here, so I can't comment on the rooms. Whilst out on the road working, I ended up in the area for the evening, so I thought I'd pop. in for an evening meal, which was great, and it does exactly what it says on the tin. Service with a smile is all anyone asks for, and it was certainly not a miss here. Thanks

Had a fantastic birthday meal here recently, Damien and the team did a really good job and the service was fast despite there being a large Christmas party in one part of the restaurant. We also really liked the food and drinks, the steaks were cooked well and the platter I had was excellent. Had never been here before but we will be back!

I stay at lots of hotels and visit lots of restaurants on my travels for work, and so much out there is not good value for money and not a great experience for people working away from home for business - and on a relatively moderate budget. I stayed in room two. Quite small room but very comfortable and cozy. Easy to park around the back of the towel. Lovely decor inside, and I have to say, the food was fantastic!

Food was fabulous! The vegan option was NOT curry! Thank the food gods! It was a beautiful crispy, filling mushroom Wellington. Hubby had beef and venison pie which he loved too. Kids' meals were epic! £5.50 for dinner and a pud. The kids had sausages, fish, and a vegan burger. Clean plates all round. Puddings very tasty too. Staff were lovely and even after a few till issues I'd still say they were 5* staff. 1 adults, 3 kids less than £75. Bargain!

Beautiful historical pub with low wooden beams, fireplace, lovely little areas for cosy dinner or just a drink or two. The service is absolutely fantastic, we were a group of 13 people eating and everything was perfect, our roasts were delicious and served very fast. Great pub! I would love to return. Lovely welcoming cosy pub. It is very spacious and comfortable. A group of 4 of us enjoyed a great lunch there. We all thought the prices were very reasonable and were pleased with our food choices. The service is good. There are a couple of fires you can sit around and relax by which 2 of us did after our meal while we waited for a taxi. The setting in Haslemere is charming too. I would recommend it.

Amazing bar tenders, got taught how to play darts!! Garlic chiabatta (with cheese) is amazing you definitely need to get them. can’t recommend enough, the vibe is so chill, perfect for any kind of vibe you want 😛

We were given a voucher as a gift for a 3 course dinner with a bottle of wine so decided to dine here this evening. Service provided by Will was lovely - professional, friendly and efficient. We opted for the mozzarella with artichoke and mushrooms and the scotch egg to start- both were great but the stand out dish was definitely the scotch egg. It’s a must try and absolutely delicious - cooked to perfection with a lovely jammy yolk. For mains we went for the lamb and rump steak. Both were excellent- tasty, well seasoned, piping hot and very generous portions. To end our meal we both chose the cheeseboard and they were great- a wonderful selection of cheeses with crackers, chutney and grapes. Overall, we had such a lovely evening and we found the food/service to be good quality. We’d have no hesitation in returning to dine here!

Staying at the hotel came for dinner and breakfast. The menu is small, not huge amounts for vegetarian (I'm not but noted) Food cooked well, the anchovies toast was delicious. Breakfast was really delicious too. Dog friendly.

Perfect spot for a post-spa meal! The service was amazing, Irena, Jithin and Ben who made sure we had everything we needed. The food was really Scrumptious and Our drinks were great too. Lovely hotel with great restaurant and very friendly staff. Set in a beautiful location - unfortunately we came in winter but lots of outdoor options for better weather. The spa is as you'd expect from a hotel spa but with the added bonus of a little bar and snack area by the pool so you can enjoy a wine whole lounging and admiring the view. Would definitely visit again, only marked down one star on room for being a little small.

These guys have done 3-4 pieces of work for me including extending underground cabling, fitting exterior garden lighting and installing a jacuzzi (larger jobs ) as well smaller stuff such as fitting a couple of sensor lights. Ty and Ben are always a pleasure to have around the place and always do a great job at a very reasonable price. More work is planned and can strongly recommend them.
