The best coffee in Godalming, hands down! We recently moved to the area and a visit here helped us choose the area knowing we could come here for an independent coffee! For anyone getting a takeaway coffee from one of the chains, please give The Journalist a go, you won’t regret it!

Great little stop, very close to Surrey Orthodontists which makes it handy for a quick tea or coffee if you’re early for an appointment. Always friendly, quiet. Not an overwhelming environment for those with ASC/SPD.

Really fantastic little cafe that serves some excellent coffee and has some amazing looking bakes. The cafe is very small. Not many seats inside but it feels intimate. The coffee is really the standout. Excellent cup and great flavour. Probably one of the nicest cafes in the town!

The best coffee in Godalming :) We stopped here twice, because once wasn’t enough, and got the pumpkin spiced latte both times. While we didn’t get any cakes, it looked incredibly tempting. There is also chess and board games available, which is great for a rainy day. The interior is very welcoming and cosy and it is dog-friendly, with dog biscuits and water.

Superb coffee and a cozy atmosphere! Voted the best in all of Surrey, and I couldn’t agree more. Merve is unbelievably friendly and personable. The baklava was the perfect addition to my cappuccino. Highly recommend this spot—I'll definitely be back!

Really friendly dentist team but a particular shout out to Maria who is amazing with my two boys, one of which has SEN. We always have a laugh with Maria so my boys don’t mind going to the dentist and take advice from her seriously because they’ve got a good relationship with her. Thanks so much.

It's taken me a while to find such a fantastic dental practice and having moved away from the area I still travel an hour to go there. The quality of service and quality of dentistry is unrivalled. Professional, friendly staff with years of experience and qualifications. Would recommend 100%

Had my first check up today and my dentist Maria was amazing. Very professional and friendly dental practice. I would also like to compliment Kelly the receptionist- very polite, kind and welcoming. Nurses are also friendly and caring. Highly recommend this practice. 5 stars for sure ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A brilliant dental practice. The staff on reception are always cheerful and welcoming. They answer any queries you may have. My dentist Sam is amazing. He takes time to understand and facilitate my medical conditions. Would highly recommend!

It was my son’s first dentist visit with Iosis dental clinic and the dentist Dr Haris Ahmed was amazing. My youngest has special needs and Dr Ahmed was patient and thoughtful with both my sons. I am so thankful and grateful for his kindness towards them both. Also both receptionist who we saw and spoke to were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great dentist visit.

I am very grateful that we have such a good dentist on our doorstep. Reception staff are always cheerful,well presented and helpful. My dentist is simply wonderful and the hygienist kind and considerate. The practice certainly deserves the 5 stars I have allocated.

I have been going to Iosis for over 8 years. The level of care is above and beyond. They have been looking after my children's teeth providing best advise and treatments all along. All staff (dentist, nurses, office) are very friendly and incredibly helpful at all time. Highly recommend them.

I called John when I had a power failure and he was round an hour later. Located and fixed the fault very quickly. I then asked him to replace some old sockets, light switches and outside P.I.R lights which was all done the next day. Very reliable and I would highly recommend.

John did a complete house rewire for me a few years back and more recently has done smaller jobs. Last job was a couple of months ago when he moved a light switch for me. Always honest and reliable, John does a good tidy job for a fair price. Would recommend to anyone.

We needed some sockets and lighting fitted outside and decided to do some research on local electricians. We found John's website simple and easy to get in contact. I initially described the job to John over the phone and he managed to give me a rough quote immediately with a follow up site inspection the very next day. John then attended a week later and completed the installation. I was very impressed with Johns methodical, attention to detail and professional work ethic ensuring the job was completed to the highest standard. It was clear John took pride in his work ensuring wiring etc were neat and discreet. John was also reasonably priced. Would highly recommend for a trusted electrician. Will definitely use John again and recommend to others.

I had a raging toothache so went into 8 and 8 at lunchtime today and they were so caring and awesome. Tooth out tonight at 7. I am an ex dentist and Dr So is an excellent dentist. His technique is without fault and IM PAIN FREE. 5 stars is not enough. Outstanding practice and I kinda know the business. A million thanks.

Dr. Ying So is the best dentist on the planet. He gave me the best service, treatment and education to take care of my teeth, particularly an implant that I needed to have. His expertise in cleaning your teeth is excellent. I have lived in many countries and this is the best dental service I have ever received. I’d been suffering with severe tooth/jaw ache for four days, As a fairly new resident to Godalming and still registered with my old dentist in Bournemouth were I used to live🤔🙄! I couldn’t find a dentist willing or able to see me even as an emergency! Nightmare!! Lucky for me I stumbled upon 8 to 8 Dental practice. After explaining my situation to Shirley the practice manager she spoke with the dentist and even though they were not taking bookings that morning the dentist (I’m sorry I don’t remember his name) Said he will fit me in . Gosh! I was so happy, I can’t tell you how badly the pain in my jaw was effecting me , I had barely slept for days and was eating ibuprofen and co-codemol like candy!! I had an x-ray and initial investigation and he cleaned out some of the infected area And prescribed and provided me with penicillin which I took straight away! I’ve made arrangements to return for more treatment. And I feel confident in his hands! He was very careful and considerate of my pain and discomfort, The initial cost were very reasonable, I thought @ £65 investigation, £30 ish for x-ray and prescription and clean of immediate area! Although the follow up cost are significantly higher I feel they are not overly expensive as I think I need quite a bit of work! Over two , full hour visits ! I think 8to8 is a practice I’d be happy to call my permanent dentist now I live here in Sunny Godalming. Thank you so much for helping me when no others would! I’m looking forward to having and seeing healthy teeth again soon fingers crossed my wisdom tooth doesn’t need to be removed too!🤞🏻

Rafal was truly a God sent. I contacted him in an emergency about electricity issues at a new flat. He was able to come the same day. He did all he could to work out a solution for me with my electricity ( and then even kindly looked at my boiler/ water). Left me with lights, and heating water. Would recommend. Thank you!

I highly recommend Dr Mario Correia and his team (not forgetting the wonderful Karen his secretary), at Lakeside Dental Practice. I had a first class experience throughout. I originally attended Dr Mario for a second opinion, I had some issues with my teeth and I wanted to be sure I was getting the right advice. I found Dr Mario to be meticulous with a professional and considered approach, add to that he listens. I decided to have my treatment with him. I am an anxious patient and he’s been amazing. We have now moved but I drive 2 hours each way for my checkups. I wholeheartedly recommend Lakeside dental practice, you’ll be in safe hands.

As a very long standing patient at Notley Dental Care, I can wholeheartedly recommend their services. What is really noticeable and very much appreciated when having to consider options for treatment, is that they are clearly laid out, with no sense of being encouraged down a particular pathway. Most recently I have seen Dr Ali and his care and consideration and recommendations have been invaluable. I cannot praise highly enough Notley Dental Care, especially Ziad and his team. They have been fantastic from the very first appointment to now, the final stages of my treatment. They are professional, caring, and make a trip to the dentist an enjoyable experience. My family and I have been seeing Dr Ziad Ali for 10 years now - always ultra-professional, but also a lovely friendly person who puts you at ease - I always look forward to seeing him. Perfect if you’re a nervous patient. Only suggests dental work that is necessary. Always innovating his practice and technically fantastic - he’s done some Bioclear for me which was done to a much better standard than a specialist practice I had had to previously use. And he also did the most fantastic Invisalign work for me on some very crooked teeth - I think he’s the most fantastic Invisalign practitioner. So, highly recommend in short! All the staff at Notley are lovely. Also need to recommend Hygienist Idalina Silva, particularly if you have children who are anxious or neurodiverse. Idalina dealt with my son brilliantly yesterday - he came in extremely anxious but left happy and enthusiastic about seeing her the next time, and with lots of advice for looking after his teeth which was pitched at just the right level for him. Very impressed. She’s also my hygienist and is equally fantastic with adults. Thanks Notley for looking after us for so long! Lucy
