Stayed here the night before an early flight from Gatwick, it was brilliant.
It's a stunning building and been updated really well. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern with the period features.
The check in staff were super polite and friendly, ordering us a taxi for the morning.

The bar prices aren't a little pricey but it is to be expected because of the location. We ate in the restaurant which I recommend to book when you check in as it gets busy. The waiting staff were again really friendly and helpful. The food was really good and would definitely recommend to eat there.

You park your car yourself and take keys with you which is nice...just be mindful where you park...the car was covered in leaves but they soon blew off when we got going !!

Another great stay here, perfect starting point for our holiday. By far the best and cheapest place to stay before and then leave your car whilst on holiday flying from Gatwick. Leave your car parked in the hotel grounds, then take a taxi (which is arranged by the hotel) for £19.50.

Stayed here a few years back now and it was lovely with a great location. Wished we weren't there for just an overnight pre flight. Must return and explore properly. The room was lovely. Cosy and spacious. And different to your bog standard square boxes of the chain hotels. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Had found the car park use excellent and upon return in the dark evening, my car was flat. The very awesome manager at the time grabbed his jump leads and helped start me up again. Forever grateful for his help.
Must come visit again.

We stayed here recently as we had an early flight from Gatwick the following morning.
A lovely hotel - we had a large, clean, well appointed room which we were happy with. We ate in the restaurant and had a good meal, and made used of their car parking facilities. So much happier leaving the car there than driving to a drop off point and having no idea where the car is. Very reasonable cost too.
The staff were very good, and organised a taxi for us for the following day, and it got our holiday off to a good start!
We will definitely be booking the hotel again for our next trip.

Pre flight stay and car parking for one night but would not rule out returning to spend a few days there. Superb setting and period features. Got to say that we felt the decor of the bar, although stylish was a little left field from the overall feel of the place. Great service though. Clean rooms with large towels and decent shower. Double bed was a little uncomfortable, but depends what you’re used to.
