Had our Christmas meal here last week.
Really great atmosphere, we loved the food and drinks and everyone in the group was very happy.
Reason for the 4 star service was as we entered, we have our name to the hostess, she said something and headed into the restaurant and we all followed, only for her to turn to us and tell us to go back to the entrance. Without her telling us it seems our table wasn’t ready and she left out group standing at the front door for over 10 mins.
As the hostess, communication is key no matter how busy you think you are and might be worth remembering that we’re not mind readers in future.
Other than that, we had a great time.
Had the loveliest meal here for my birthday. The food and cocktails were delicious and the service was fantastic. We all really enjoyed our evening and would recommend to everyone.
Trendy brasserie in the heart of Soho with a buzzy atmosphere. Ideal for either a pre or post theatre meal.

We had a fantastic experience at Old Compton Brasserie today. Our time was limited as we had just 1h interval before going back to theatre. Nevertheless, service was attentive, prompt; our waiter was so pleasant and kind. Food was delicious. I had vegan burger and it was full of flavour, fries were fresh and crispy. It was my partner's Birthday that I mentioned during online booking, they brought a large plate with chocolate cake and icecream, with a candle. Honestly I couldn't fault a thing.
