Visited last week, was looking to relocate from Kent and had a lovely coffee with my friend. The lady ( manager) who served was super friendly, which was lovely. She was accommodating and gave me some local information, which is very useful. Similar vibe to my own café, here in Kent. Thank you Joe

This is a small cafe with a couple of tables outside on the pavement front and probably about 8 tables inside(these were being cleaned in-between customers visits).There's good choice of drinks along with hot & cold food options on the menu which have very reasonable prices indeed.The staff on duty were very friendly & pleasant during my 1st time visit. Its a bit of a trek to use the toilet facilities as you have to go through the fire exit door at the rear & use a traffic cone to hold the door open so you can return back inside the cafe once you have used the toilet building located outside .

The hotel is brilliant. Its clean smells fresh and the room feels so comfortable. Plenty tea and coffee available at reception. The rooms are just perfect. The downside is the fact that brewers fayre isn't operating next door. it's now called the premier. I found the staff to be a bit scruffy and lazy. Not a good selection of drinks. I tried to order 3 drinks from the drinks menu and none were available the person said its table service, but I found it hard to get there attention. We will return to the hotel as we love Cleethorpes but unfortunately we won't be eating or drinking in the restaurant.

Has it's own parking not all do. It is a premier inn and not the Hilton. That said clean, comfortable,nice staff,good breakfast and no fuss. Have used before and happily will use again. As always a competitive price.

First of all the staff were very helpful and friendly. We arrived well before our check-in time, but after a short wait, our room was made ready. The food and service in the restaurant were fine, and the buffet breakfast very enjoyable. Our room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed but the decor was a little tired. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and we will return in the future.

Lovely old pub, hotel, lovely home cooked Sunday roast, friendly chatty staff, titanic plum porter!!!!! My fave beer ever, will definitely be back, 5 stars all the way! The restaurant upstairs (not advertised anywhere! A hidden gem!) The food, staff, location, amazing!!!!! Just had the mid week Sunday roast, omg, one of the best! My fave pub and restaurant in cleerthorpes, genuinely, lovely!

A true old fashioned spit and sawdust pub, not what I was expecting from the outside/area. But still good to see this sort of pub still exists. It still has the old Tap room (linoleum flooring) and the best room with carpet. Definitely worth a visit, it's like walking into yesteryear. Accept it for what it is, and you won't be disappointed.

Superb! Fabulous meals and service for our Christmas do. The food was lovely, and portions generous - many of us couldn’t finish. I had the vegan option, and didn’t miss out on festive fayre – I enjoyed a ‘traditional’ Christmas meal with a nut roast – rich, savoury, lovely textures – and all the trimmings, with a vegan gravy. Becky ensured there was even vegan cream for dessert too. It was a large and lively party, and the team were spot on checking everyone was happy, and with happy bellies! Highly recommended.

A lovely cosy little pub with a great atmosphere. The lady who served us was friendly and welcoming. A group of 10 of us stayed for about an hour enjoying a few drinks, card games, good fun and laughs. We didn't eat so I can't comment on food but the drinks prices were reasonable. We would definitely return.

Absolutely beautiful food! We had the lamb gyros and a pie, cake and coffees. lucy was helping us today, she is very polite, friendly and nothing is too much trouble at all! Marples is such a lovely place, it's in a very good location, right near the beach. We would love to revisit.

We stopped here for brunch this morning. It was our first time visiting, it's alot bigger inside than it looks from the outside, there's quite a nice variance on the menu. We went with smoothies then iced coffee which wasn't on the menu but the waitress more than happily made for us along side a big breakfast and the the breakfast with waffles which was both well made and tasted great. The service was brilliant will definitely be back again 😀

Consistently great cafe. There are lots of reasons that Marples has been open for business for so many years, excellent, friendly, quick efficient service from the ladies, menu choices, value of money, delicious food and well made coffee. Coming from Australia where coffee standards are extremely high I am constantly disappointed with cafes in UK but not Marples today. The lady that made it who also took our order did a Melbourne barista worthy job of it. Well done there. We ordered prawn Marie rose sandwich granary bread and Halloumi Avocado Bagel. Both had very high quality tasting produce and the crisp side salad was freshly made and well balanced. We also chose thin fries (one serving is more than enough for two people) and they were super crunchy on the outside with perfectly soft potato centres. A really satisfying lunch in a Cleethorpes cafe sitting in a bright area in a comfy booth with beach and sea glimpses.

Staff are very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere inside is relaxed and friendly, well set out and the service is excellent. The food was gorgeous and there was plenty of it. The drinks were great. Enjoyed sitting outside in the late morning sunshine. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for a lovely breakfast.

Great place in the summer for a cheap day out with the kids. Lots for kids to do and loads of attractions around you too. We always have a nice afternoon unfortunately can be some litter around which is a shame. Last time we went it was the armed forces day.

Just spent an amazing hour and a half doing a cocktail masterclass! Absolutely awesome. Our 2 cocktail waiters were brilliant, we had lots of fun, made and drank some lovely cocktails and giggled lots. Well worth the money - 2 cocktails , glass of prosecco and a shot! We will definitely bring some different friends to have this experience.

Really cool "safe room" in old bank. Excellent service and food to die for. We've already booked same table for October. Safe room is perfect if you want to have quieter meal time which is nice.

It's very noisy, but that's what you're looking for with a pub that has a dance floor. Drinks are a little pricey, so if you're saving your money, don't get the cocktails, but all around, great vibe and lots of place to sit along with a nice beer garden.

Decent menu with plenty of choose. I had the haddock and it was very good. Plenty if white fish the batter was crispy. Decent vegetarian menu too my partner had halloumi burger and said it was very good. The bar area is very clean with friendly and helpful staff. It was a Sunday at opening at 12:00 so not very busy busy service was very prompt. Would highly recommend

I love this place on every aspect of it. The decor, the atmosphere, the music, the food, the choice of beverages, the cocktails, the looked after and clean bathrooms, the security that make sure things are run smoothly and most importantly the amazing staff and management that make sure to bring the experience to a higher level by treating you as part of the family and respect you. They all go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful time. Edited to Include another visit which was cocktail night.....every single one was done to a high standard with special touches and the taste is gorgeous .....one of my go to favourites 'A dead man's tipple' 10 out of 10 for taste. Flaming Zombie is not for the faint hearted but a gorgeous mix of fruit and different rums 10 out 10 for alcohol volume!!! Strawberry and passion fruit Mojito is a wonderful combo of colours and taste 10 out of 10 for aesthetics and flavour. The sweetie of the lot was the Fruit Pastille, sweet in taste and look I give it 10/10 for fun! For the daring and coffee lovers the Espresso Martini has a serious coffee kick , for me it's a little too sharp and not sweet enough. So an 8/10, however it looks amazing. A wonderful Wednesday evening all round 🍸🍹

Very nice, inside is a totally different place compared to the outside, first time I've tried a tapas I'm not a cocktail kind of person but there was a good range of cocktails, 16 I think, the female I took was impressed for sure, but I just stuck to the usual cider. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star is because at around 8pm (Friday night admittedly) the downstairs has more of a bar and could hear the music thudding through the floor, this would be my only criticism, all the staff was friendly and kind

I had a bacon and egg cob from here, donuts with Nutella, a cup of tea and a cup of coffee. This cost a modest £10.10 so wasn't too badly priced for the location. The views from here are lovely looking out over the estuary. The staff were very friendly as well.

Called here for breakfast, sat indoors as it was a hot day. Clean and pleasant inside with friendly staff although could have done with another server too. Food was nice, plenty of filling in the cobs, latte was a bit strong for a latte though. Teacakes was nice apart from on one you could taste where they had scraped the burnt bit off! And 3 butters woul go better than 2 as they don't go far. Juice drinks was a very reasonable size and nice and chilled. No toilets for customers though. Enter indoor dining by a couple of steps. Water for dogs outside.

Went up to the roof garden - what a gem. Lovely sun trap with lovely flower baskets on the walls. Cheap drinks & a friendly young barman who seemed to be working on his own. However, he was doing a great job but you need to put more staff on the bar

Breakfast was awesome. Loved it. One small criticism. Could do with another coffee machine as the queue was a bit of a pain as the machine itself isn't the fastest and with each person averaging 2 cups at a time it can take a while. My food was already on the table before I managed to get out drinks. But overall very happy with my visit.

Typical ' Spoons pub, a great welcome. Friendly staff and great service. Once again, as you see in the video, fantastic prices for cask ales. Only wish more pubs would sell them in Cleethorpes. No food today, just a few great pints. Well worth the train fare from Barton upon Humber.

This was a superb pub for drinking, spanning a colossal three floors! The former theatre setting is clear especially when the grand roof can be witnessed upstairs, lined by blue structured architecture. Counter is well-presented and I shared a cocktail pitcher with my friend, enjoying the smooth table and comfortable seating!

Great selection of beers on Tap with plenty choose from. Friendly service from the staff, made to feel welcome and handy to be dog friendly, set by the lakeside nice to look out onto. Food was delicious, duck topped chips were really tasty & the wood fired pizza was delicious. Definitely high quality ingredients used, one of the best meals we have had on the area. Would definitely recommend.

Just had a flat white which was excellent. Food looked lovely so will try during week. The pizza margarita was amazing. The dough was amazing and the topping spot on. Such friendly staff. Update. The steak pizza was delicious but the steak was very well done and chewy.
