Simply Awesome 👌 After taking my son here for some golf lessons, I can only say this place clearly has the WOW factor! The course itself is impressive, immaculate, maintained to a very high standard and very much has the unspoilt, quintessential rural England feel about it! Nick Fox the golf coach is equally impressive. His positive, thoughtful approach to teaching with the human touch certainly shines through in all he does! The way he conducts himself connecting with the individual, honing in on their character, putting the child at ease throughout is special! His attention to detail and expertise whilst teaching is meticulous but always friendly. In essence, I found the overall ambiance and friendliness of the club, from Ian Dickinson the men’s captain and it’s members generally something it seems is ingrained throughout and certainly somewhere I would wish my son to be! Lincolnshire has some great golfing heritage and this place is unquestionably the jewel in the crown 👑

Tremendous golf course, staff in pro were very helpful and welcoming. Course was in great condition and a tough test of golf. Back nine very tight but nice variety of holes throughout the course.
Rating: 4 / 5
Very good winter golf course. Back 9 was reduced to 8 par 3s and a par 5 to finish. Lots of rain in the weeks before I played but course was still decent. Greens were elite level for the time of year. Very firm and fast, they rolled exceptionally well. I bet they’re lightning fast in the summer. Would highly recommend.

Played the course today in great cindition, played a four ball with looking to book our society golf holiday next year course was in great condition ,only very small downfall when asking questions to guy in pro shop found him to be slightly rude !! But we all have off days i suppose didnt spoil the days golf , be making more enquieries for next years golf break .

One of the best courses I have played in ages. The course is stunning. From tee to green it is very well maintained. A real challenging course that requires you to be straight off the tee and accurate with your irons. Well placed bunkers and water hazards add to the challenge. Well worth playing!!!

Great Sunday lunch great atmosphere also easy to sit outside when it’s sunny, an all round lovely place. Only criticism about the food was the stuffing was a bit stodgy and didn’t taste of much. Everything else was lovely.

Great place to eat. Had to book and tried the carvery. Very friendly staff. Meal was delicious and the desert was out of this world. It was a junkyard knickerbocker glory. Will definitely go there again.

Came here for a work meeting so only used the clubhouse and not any other facilities. The clubhouse building is a bit dated inside and could do with a revamp but don’t let that put you off from coming here. The grounds are well kept and the car park is a decent size, there was plenty of parking available despite it being a hot day and perfect golfing weather, there was also a function going on at the time. The bar staff were friendly and despite being busy I didn’t have to wait more than a minute or two to be served. The lunch menu is a bit basic but has plenty of choice. I ordered the chilli con carne and it was majority rice with a bit of chilli, I felt the rice to chilli ratio was well out. My colleague had a sandwich which was toasted (he didn’t know it would be toasted but this wasn’t a problem) but it was just one sandwich which was on the smaller side with a tiny salad garnish. If you want something to accompany your sandwich (chips or crisps) you will need to order these separately. I feel the price of the food doesn’t justify the quantity of the food given. I’m not asking for American sized portions but just a bit more imagination and common sense when it comes to the food portions. Other than that I had a brilliant experience and I would come back again if I was in the area.

A fair but testing golf course. Was in good condition when played. Staff in the clubhouse were friendly and efficient. Our group had a wonderful carvery.

Exceptional Value. Greens and tee boxes in fantastic shape. People fix their ball marks. Super friendly staff. The blond lady who checked us in was so inviting. The greens ran true. A must play and so very reasonably priced!

After the recent wet weather my son and I searched around for a course that might be operating near to normal. What a find! The course setting, condition and practice facilities were fantastic, the pro shop team welcoming and the clubhouse afterwards, first rate. Will definitely be coming back

I played Oundle GC for the first time today and was so impressed by the condition it was in, truly excellent. There are some great holes and some quirky ones too, I loved it and will be going back soon.
Rating: 5 / 5
Lovely club, course and experience. Had the pleasure of playing Oundle for the first time today and was playing with a view to find a new club when I move to the area, this will take some beating! Firstly I was greeted by a lovely lady in the pro shop (didn’t catch her name) who told me a fair bit about the club and what to expect if I were to join. Secondly met Gary, one of the green staff who was also extremely welcoming and had the humility to tell me that the course isn’t in as good condition as it should be. However, I have to say that the course was in the best condition of anywhere I’ve played so far this winter. If today’s conditions aren’t regarded as good then that makes me wonder just how great it’ll look by the end of spring! Thoroughly enjoyed the experience today and even if I don’t end up becoming a member I’ll certainly return. If you’re looking for a friendly, fairly-priced day at a picturesque and interesting golf course then look no further!

Challenging 6000 yard course with hills and doglegs. Quirky for sure with tee boxes, greens and fairways crossing over here and there. Pace of play was good and the course in general was in very good shape for the time of year. Fantastic value at £12.50!

If you plan a couple of days away in the Skegness area than a round at Seacroft has to be on your list of courses to play. A very enjoyable links course that has received accolade from others. Must have caught the pro on a bad day as he wasn't at his best. The clubhouse offender a good menu. Car parking was over the main road in a quiet area with several members parking on the side road. The course was in goid condition with extensive improvement being carried out on one hole. North Shore golf club and hotel is just down the road and I am posting review on that.
Rating: 5 / 5
Myself and a group of friends, 8 in total came up from all parts of the south and played on Saturday morning, what a treat, the course is marvelous, a real joy to play and everyone was so welcoming. Thank you all at Seacroft for a wonderful golf course and your hospitality. We will be coming back...if you'll have us....
Rating: 5 / 5
Good experience all round. The food as especially nice afterwards. Only negative is the looming road and houses on the right but that's down to my own poor golf game rather than the course
Rating: 5 / 5
Was lucky enough to play this fantastic links course with my son and his father in law. Not played links courses much but it was a most enjoyable, challenging experience. Everyone at the club was helpful from pro shop to bar and members too. Would thoroughly recommend a visit to this absolute gem

Great to finally play this great links course. For the last week of October the course was in great shape and we were blessed with the weather! No wind and short sleeve. For £40 a round it is well worth it. The condition of the course was great and of course there is some winter work being done but it surely didn’t interfere with a great experience. Great holes and don’t expect to get many flat lies.

We stayed for a couple of nights during half term. Being a long way from a major road the hotel was extremely quiet; we had a terrific night's sleep in a huge comfy bed. As there is hardly any light pollution the stars look fantastic over the dark golf course at night, which also provides a nice view from the rooms and restaurant. The bar and restaurant were great for both breakfasts and dinners. The food was delicious and the portions large, with local ales on draught too! A dart board and pool table kept my 10 year old entertained until bedtime! The room was large, clean and very comfortable, with a nice bathroom with a bath. The staff were super efficient and friendly. For value for money I'd rate this hotel very highly and would definitely come back.

We went to the new years eve party and stayed the night. Everything was spot on. We couldn't believe it was only a 3 star hotel. The staff were all happy and helpful ,even though they were working on New Years eve. The dinner dance was one of the best we've been to. The meal was fantastic ,and the entertainment by Barreo Benidorm was so much fun. His talents were amazing. A real entertainer and fantastic singer.

Arrived early Friday morning, had a small breakfast. Played Friday pm Saturday Sunday am. To very nice evening meals ( white bait and scampi not up to standard not that I had it. General view of most who chose it) breakfast OK good choice cereal fruit and pastries. Plenty tea or coffee. 2 course both challenging in different ways. Staff couldn't have been friendlier or helpfully. Rooms perfect for purpose. 🥰💞 thanks to all of you guys at Greetham.

We attended a function here and stayed the night. The lady on reception was lovely and got us checked in quickly. The room was large, nice and clean, with all the expected facilities excepted. The function room was a good size and had the bar in the room, I like this as it keeps people together instead of everyone spreading out all over the place. The food was good and served at a good pace, getting all the guests fed quickly. Last orders at the bar was 11:45, which was a little early, and there was no guest bar for an after-hours drink. Breakfast was buffet style, items were being topped up all the time, which meant some item ran out for a short period, but at least they were cooked fresh, breakfast was really good. Staff couldn't do enough for you.
Rating: 5 / 5
2 great courses one each day, in excellent condition, rooms were spacious and view was the 10 th hole. Breakfast was superb all you can eat and a great verity was available, evening meal was outstanding and again a great choice of food. Staff could not do enough and all smiled, best two days golf this year and looking forward to going again.

May Pairs open 2024, with the poor winter this so far is the stand out course I've played. Lush and just about perfect. Greens superb. Lovely people to boot ⛳ credit to all involved it won't be 6 years before return visit

Three of us recently had the pleasure of playing at Belton Park, and what a fantastic day it was. There was a warm and friendly welcome in the Pro Shop followed by friendly and accommodating staff in the clubhouse. The course itself was in excellent condition, with challenging greens, which were fast with subtle borrows. The fairways were beautifully manicured, with natural habitat where appropriate. There is a great flow to the holes and slight changes in elevation, which add to the appeal of the course. I would highly recommend Belton Park to anyone looking for a top-notch golfing experience with excellent service.

My hubby and I had our wedding reception at Belton Park Golf Club in July of this year and I cannot fault our experience. Im sorry its taken so long for me to write this review!! I specifically want to thank Matt and the lovely ladies on his team who helped on the day. You're all a credit to the club as you went above and beyond for making our evening so perfect and exactly how we wanted it to be. We had so much fun and our guests were well looked after! From beginning to end, Matt helped us with the planning, he was very attentive and made the entire process seamless. The food was plentiful and you really get a lot for value of money! We were also taken around the golf course on the carts so we could take photographs, which was really special! The landscape around the course is beautiful so we got some lovely photos. Thank you again for making our evening so memorable. I can thoroughly recommend Belton Park Golf Club as a venue to have your wedding reception at. Much love, Georgie & Perry Xxx

Our group had a lovely afternoon at Belton Park, Howard gave us a very friendly welcome, the course was in great condition for the time of year and we enjoyed playing surrounded by the herd of deer. The third hole is one of my favourites with a wonderful view of Belton House. Thank you.

Excellent course that I was lucky enough to qualify to play on for the England ladies medal final . Lovely experience. Very welcoming staff. Homely feel to it. Offers a wide range of facilities to practice on. A must try for all golfers. Very helpful greenside bunkers to keep you on your toes.

Possibly the most difficult golf course I've ever played and I've played over 500 all over the world. If you can't carry the ball 200 yds off the tee , stay at home. Absolutely brutal but brilliant at the same time. Definitely not fun, but a magnificent challenge

Wonderful day on Hotchkin’s. Challenging, perfectly kept course. Great staff. Lots of quality time spent in bunkers!
Rating: 5 / 5
Golf course - we played the Hotchkin course and it was in immaculate condition. It was challenging, in terms of length, bunkers (as some very extremely deep) as well as having penal rough! Clubhouse - lovely clubhouse but could l do with an uplift. It needs some TLC but with some investment, it could be absolutely superb. Driving range - it’s about five minutes walk from the shop but it is super. Lots of Toptracer bays and a great Short game area as well. Just what you’d expect from the home of England Golf.
Rating: 5 / 5
The home of England Golf. 2 fantastic courses, which are well maintained and beautifully designed. It's great that you can play 2 very different types of course, each with its own unique challenges and characteristics. Definitely with the visit.

My partner and his friend recently did the 72 hole golf ⛳ challenge for Macmillan here. I had never been before. I thought the grounds were beautiful. I sat and waited for them at the 1st/18th holes and there are a couple of picnic benches there to sit on. It was a very relaxing place to be just watching the world (and the golfers) go by! I'm considering taking up golf watching in the future! By the way, the lads raised over £900 for Macmillan but my partner said he'd never do it again! Well done Steve and Frazer.

Thoroughly enjoyed my day at Thorney Lakes. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The venue was perfect for our golf competition. It was clean and spacious. The golf course was in good condition but challenging. The carvery was as good as I've eaten anywhere. Thank you for hosting a great day

Wonderful staff who were very attentive for our quite large party celebrating a 60th. Food was good value for money. The kids were able to go out and play on the driving range which kept them entertained for a while. Will definitely be returning in the future.

I only went to the clubhouse for a party so I can't really say too much. It is a good place for a private party though friendly staff and prices at the bar were normal. Free parking right outside. I know others who like it during the day though.

An excellent golf club. Ongoing changes to enhance the course. Bunkers recently refurbished and worn areas returfed. Lots of trees removed to allow more light and air to the greens. New staff and new equipment improving the course, week on week.

Super convenient for access to the show ground. Nice flat site with water and bins not far. Great to be able to take car down to Members' car park so not too far to walk back when laden with shopping. Very friendly staff and almost no queueing when showing entry tickets. Well done Burghley!
