Lovely food (my 10yr old son started eating the "delicious" ice cream stuffed pancake before I could take the pic 😆), excellent portion of Sunday roast with good selection of well cooked veg. Nice sized kids portion, he still had room for garlic bread and an adult sized pud!! 13yr old enjoyed cooking his own steak to his liking (meal adjusted for his dairy allergy no problem) and he loved the dairy free chocolate cake dessert, good sized portion too. My creme brulée was also excellent. Good value, good service, good atmosphere. Will happily return, thank you!!

Wonderful pub in Oxted. Smiley staff, beautiful location and child friendly. I had fish and chips and it was such a delicious batter. I took a picture after I started as it looked mouth watering.

Our 4th midweek winter lunch in 3 years. Hopefully there will be many more. We drive 30 miles to make the visit and it is definitely worth the hour travel time (one way). An early lunch slot avoids a well occupied car park. Same manager since our first lunch. Confident, well mannered and attentive. Booking a table in advance is worthwhile.

We visit the Grumpy Mole on a regular basis and one of the great things about it is the consistency- of food, of service- so you know you are always going to get value for money. Today we tried the Filet steak on the stone, a lovely treat. The steak keeps cooking so that you can get it to exactly your preference. It's a beautiful setting too, and today we sat outside looking across the fields in the sunshine: glorious!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. My family and I celebrated Christmas lunch here, and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly accommodating, the food was exceptional, and the portion sizes were generous. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect setting for our gathering. With a party of 18, we were all thoroughly impressed by the outstanding service. A big thank you to the entire team for working so hard on Christmas Day. We will definitely be back!

It’s always a great experience at Chai, the coffee is great, and food is always fresh and delicious! I got the chicken wrap which was great. The selection of cakes is incredible, they are not too sweet and are freshly made everyday. The decor is incredible and it’s very comfortable and cozy to sit here. In summers it’s very nice to sit outside.

First class service from iTech Electrical Group from the minute Laura answered the phone. In urgent need of an electrician because the power in our house had completely shut down, I started making my way through check-a-trade. After calling a couple of companies who were unable to get out to us any time soon I found iTech. Laura was knowledgeable and professional whilst being friendly and reassuring and pulled out all the stops to get an electrician out to us at 8am the next morning. John arrived a couple of minutes early, within half an hour he had identified the problem and 20 minutes later our power was back on and he was packing up to move onto his next job. Fabulous service from the nicest people. We would recommend them all day long.

The experience for the price was well worth it. £14.95 per person and were there from 10am to 5.30pm. The animals looked healthy and happy, you could feed the animals and had lots to do with summer activities, dinosaur discovery trail, a massive indoor soft play and fantastic outdoor area with swings and obstacles galore as well as a toboggan run which the kids couldn't get enough off. At the end of the day, the kids enjoyed the foam party and left worn out from all the excitement. It does get expensive if you eat in the restaurant (the food was good quality) and buy ice creams and something in the soft shop. However, for the memories we made, it was totally worth it. Would recommend and will visit again.

I have been visiting Godstone Farm since I was a child, and it has always been a fun and educational place to be. I have just recently visited with my 9 year old son and all I can say is WOW. The changes that the farm has gone through are amazing. Both my son and I had a wonderful time there with so many fun activities to do and learning a lot of new things along the way. I will continue to visit and next time with the whole family as there is something for all.

Such a fab place for all children. Friendly and helpful staff, well cared for animals and lots of things to play. The large soft play is brilliant, including the small sections for babies and toddlers. The sensory and role play space is brilliant for a quieter place and imagination play. Lots put on over the school holidays. We have a 'Winter Warmer' pass and it's wonderful value for money.

We had a brilliant day out at Godstone Farm! It’s such a fantastic place for families, with so much to see and do. The highlight for us was the amazing soft play area – it’s perfect for kids to burn off energy, with lots of space and well-maintained equipment. My little one absolutely loved it! The farm itself is lovely, with plenty of animals to see and interact with, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought into making the experience enjoyable for both kids and adults. We’ll definitely be visiting again – a perfect day out for families!

Excellent activity centre and farm park for all the family. Many animals to see, all of which seem happy and well looked after. The place is clean, well maintained and it deserves to do well. It is nice to see somewhere that the money being made is clearly being put back in to keeping the standards high. The soft play is outstanding too.

Only reason for the lower points is that the baby changing is in the female toilets. 21st century!! This needs to change!! What if I was out alone with the children! Doesn’t take American Express, has high chairs. Delicious food.

We went to Gucina on Saturday afternoon for a late lunch after swimming. Although we had no prior reservation the staff were lovely and polite and we were sat promptly. It was pretty busy so definitely recommend to book ahead of time. The menu is rich with starters, pasta, pizzas and more and they have a children’s menu, too. My partner ordered the vegan pasta, I had margarita pizza and our little one had tomato sauce spaghetti. It was all delicious and very authentic. There are a few vegan options, but it’d be great to see a few more plant based meals. We’ll definitely come back again.

First time came and amazing village… we had latte and duck (which is full)breakfast which was very delicious. What amazed me was the breakfast was hot till half way through as I ate slowly… lol. Anyw, that was super tasty for me. The whole experience was lovely and we planned to come back again some time in the near future.

Had a lovely breakfast at the dabbling duck. The staff were all very friendly and service and food could not be faulted. There was only one fly in the ointment. We sat inside the cafe as did a lot of dog owners. My friend has allergies and is a bit wary of dogs so it was a bit off putting to her. They were also all a bit over excited and ‘talking’ to each other which made it hard for us to converse. I’ve no objection to well behaved dogs but not everyone feels the same for various reasons and they are not necessarily just being intolerant. The Dabbling Duck has a large heated marquee outside as well as covered heated outdoor seating. Would it not be a good compromise to welcome dogs only to these areas and keep the small inside seating area pet free. Other than that small niggle it was a lovely brunch before a bracing walk in beautiful countryside surrounding Shere.

Lovely dog friendly cafe in a beautiful village with lots of outdoor seating. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. They have a good selection of lunch options. The only critique we would make is that the coffee and walnut cake had little to no coffee in it. But lunch was delicious.

Me and my partner were recommended Cattle & Cocktails by a family friend. I can honestly say I’ve never had such a pleasant experience when going out for a meal. It was line and my partners 7 year anniversary - and were welcomed with a glass of bubbly to celebrate the occasion. We were here on a Wednesday so we could take advantage of the £20pp deal they had on, adding a bottle of wine to the meal. The steak frittes were fantastic, and the steak was cooked to perfection. One of the better meals I’ve had in a long time, and I won’t hesitate to come back or recommend to other friends and family.

What a great place. The decor is really Good and well set out. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Great place for a drink with some amazing cocktails. And good wine selection. The food was really good. I had seafood risotto and my wife the mushroom truffle risotto. Next time, I have to try the steaks. My daughter had kids' pasta, which was really tasty. You could easily spend a whole evening in this amazing venue.

Our first visit to the Cattle & Cocktail for a date night. We were met by the manager as we entered who showed us to our table. He was very welcoming and hospitable. Our waitress was over to us within a couple of minutes to take our drinks orders and we also ordered olives and halloumi bites with chili jam as an appertizer. When they were brought to us we ordered scallops and king prawns for starters and for the mains salmon and the large rib eye steak. The scallops and prawns were very tasty and well presented on the plates. The salmon was presented on a bed of mash potato served with fine green beans. The rib eye was a bit over done for me. I asked for medium rare and it came a touch over cooked. However the steak was well seasoned and a good size. The only other issue with the steak is that I had to order chips as a side to have with it. At £36 for a steak I would expect chips to come with it. I have had better steaks for less money when eating out. Looking at the red wine list, there are only certain wines that you can have a glass of. I wanted a glass of Argentinian Malbec but it was only served as a bottle. The total bill was just over £155 for 2 people with 3 cocktails and 2 Peronis so although this is a nice restaurant with lovely staff it is overpriced and expensive. Would I go back? I would for a special occassion but for a general eating out experience there are more reasonable priced restaurants around the area of Oxted.

Enjoyed a delicious 3 course lunch here with my daughter today. The restaurant has a very stylish interior with comfortable seating and beautiful decor. It also boasts a lovely outdoor seating area for al fresco dining. The staff were very friendly and welcoming too. The food was delicious, with interesting dishes and flavour combinations and all ingredients tasting extremely fresh. Excellent value for money and a very enjoyable lunch spent in very sumptuous surroundings. Thank you very much to Junior and his staff team…we will definitely return!

We hired out Blossoms for our son’s 1st birthday party, and it was absolutely perfect! Not only is it a lovely space, but Sami the owner was incredibly helpful leading up to and during the party to make it all as seamless as possible for us. She prepared a cold buffet and went above and beyond to cater to all of our dietary needs. She also helped to make sure everything was set up and ready for our guests—from music to making a beautiful display for our cake and birthday treats. We hired Blossoms for our son's 1st birthday and it was absolutely brilliant. Sami was so accommodating and helped me set everything up. She served coffee and soft drinks to everyone and even took some photos and lovely videos for us! The cafe itself is a great space, cosy and homely with plenty of room for all our guests. Excellent place for a delicious and filling brunch at a reasonable price. Guten free brunch requirements can be generously catered for too. The brunch items were all fresh and full of flavour. We don't live near Godstone but tend to deliberately detour en route to days out elsewhere in that area for a treat, knowing we won't be disappointed. This cafe has a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, and we've always received friendly, efficient service in the past. There's a free car park located about 100 yards down the road off the green for those who need it. And for dog-owners, I've seen plenty of well behaved pooches sitting under their owners' tables.

What a brilliant gem!! Met an old colleague here for breakfast, driving an hour from each side so getting ready for a great plate of grub and wow it didn't disappoint!! Kindly let us book a table to make sure we didn't motor in vain, really tasty coffee followed by a perfectly balanced full english - freshly cooked, butchers sausage, great bacon & eggs to boot: toast helped clear the plate too!! Team are superb: friendly, confident, lovely to hear them laughing as they worked. Definitely will be back, keep doing what you do so very well!!

We booked home cottage for our office Christmas lunch and it was fantastic. The food was great, the staff are lovely and super helpful. We sat 25 and parties of a comparable size get their own room in the pub which was amazing. Additionally, on the morning off I wanted to last minute implement a seating plan so I called the staff and not only were they lovely but they got everything printed and set up on time with essentially no notice. Would highly recommend for Christmas parties and is all round a good pub!

Great place to either have a drink, quick snack or 3 course meal. Lovely place to eat & drink in a traditional atmosphere. Visited late Saturday afternoon and despite very busy and a private party being organised, the service was brilliant. Greeted and shown to our table by our server Karina. Choice of ordering at bar or in app. Ordered on app after being given recommendations from Karina. Considering how busy they were food was served very quickly and with a friendly smile. My family & I booked The Home Cottage for my late husband's funeral reception. The staff handled the booking, the assigned area for us, plus the food and drinks to perfection. They were simply marvellous. The food was good. Their fried chips grabed my guests attention much so that we asked for seconds. They obliged. The room was warm and well ventilated. Their facilities were clean and easy to access and use. My sincere thanks to The Home Cottage for making my guests and family feel welcome on such a sad occasion.

Fantastic farm shop and bistro. Popped by after a dog walk in nearby Marden park. Plenty of parking and outdoor and indoor seating for the bistro which is really pleasant inside with interesting film posters on the wall. Had a goats cheese panini and a bacon Brie and avocado panini and both came with a lovely tomato pepper and cucumber salad and some crisps. The shop was excellent too with some amazing meats including sausages, pork chops and marinated chickens. Great selection of fruits and veg, cheeses and pastries including marmite sausage rolls and huge pork pies. Polite and friendly staff. A really great find and would definitely recommend a visit.

We went for a coffee and a few things from the farm shop. I had a cheese and ham sandwich on white, comes with crisps and a nice little salad all very nice, coffee good carrot cake very good. The farm shop like most is expensive , but you get allegedly, free range meats of good quality locally sourced. I had chicken supremes they did taste good. Bought few other bits from the shop as a treat as I was flush that week

Want to say a big thank you to Flower Farm for their help. I ordered a 8kg Turkey because I’d left it late ordering. When we collected it on Christmas Eve the butcher managed to find us one double the size, called Cyril, and recommended we cook it following their instructions. It was absolutely amazing and so tender. We have ended up with plenty for turkey sandwiches all week. 👍😋🦃

Best food I've had in the UK so far. Very decent steak sandwich, sourced locally. Handmade fresh chips from local potatoes. Reasonable price. Unfortunately, prices have risen quite a bit here as well.

Me and my friend popped in a coffee and a walk around and ended up buying fruit and veg from the Farm Shop and a yummy piece of cake and a walk around the PYO fruit fields. Extremely enjoyable
