I had 2 installations of solar panels with batteries. Blue Electric started on time, finished on time and the cost was as per the quotes. Dean kept me up to date and was very easy to get hold of when needed. Kalil completed the work for both jobs, he was very helpful when it came to the best time to turn off the electric to cause least disruption, he also cleared up any rubbish etc once finished. I highly recommend Blue Electric.

Dean and the gang at Blue Electric did a great job of installing solar panels, batteries and an inverter at my property. I am delighted with the system so far. They carried out the installation when they said they would, and followed up on snags. I am very happy with the overall service and would wholeheartedly recommend.

Blue Electric installed solar panels for us last December. Dean was extremely informative and patient whilst we were deciding on the various options. The team who did the work, led by Kalil, were efficient, professional and pleasant. We really couldn’t have wished for better service. Kalil has since been back to sort out an unvented water tank that had been badly wired by another company. Testimony that this company really cares about its customers. I recommend them very highly.

Dean & his team were great, they gave a really good quote with details of the return that we would get. They listened to our specific needs. They updated/ upgraded a few of the components to make sure that we were going to get the best results from our solar panels & battery set up. They kept us informed. There was no hard sell, they were able to do the installation really quickly. They did a neat job and caused minimal disruption. They were really polite & respectful while working in our home. Dean has forwarded all the certificates & paperwork as soon as the instal was finished. They made sure the rest of the household electrics were safe too. I was so impressed with the whole process. They made it really painless. I am already seeing significant savings on my electricity even in February!

LOVE Beryl and Pegs! Superb food, service with a smile and excellently sourced produce. They serve a proper full English with bubble & fried slice - but plenty of sourdough, avocado & poached eggs etc if that’s your thing. Great, hearty sandwiches & homemade cakes too. First class all the way! You can walk in but … Very popular, so worth booking a table. Highly recommend!

Recently came here for a takeaway coffee and sandwich. The coffee is lovely and the Bacon, Brie and Cranberry sandwich is amazing, very cheesy and very tasty. Quick and friendly service and reasonably priced. Would recommend and will come again

Stopped here on a charity cycle ride from London to Poole. What an amazing pitstop for 15 minutes. Internally, the cafe is incredibly cosy, with a quintessential English feel to it, in a quiet, bucolic setting. When it comes to cakes, they offer all the classics, and by the taste of the granola bar I ordered, I reckon they have the recipes bang on. I also noticed a wide selection of teas, which I will have to try next time. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area and “gasping for that cuppa!”

Amazing place , amazing staff and I love coming here. Have been there before as well. This time reached after 3 pm so food options were limited . So we tried hot chocolate and scones and loved both. Fruit Scone was really really nice. Next time I will try the cheese scone :)

We went yesterday with our 9 year old Sprocker to have his yearly vaccinations and check on some concerning lumps. We saw Emily, the vet, and the whole experience for us and our dog was amazing. She was empathic, knowledgeable, calm, had great ways of keeping him calm and even better, his lumps seem ok. Thank you so much for the great service we received.

Our first visit today I was pleased I chose this nice homely veterinary practice. Stephen was lovely he explained everything as he went along. Lulu my little Chug was a little nervous but Stephen was very gentle and made Lulu ( and myself) relax she even ate the little treat he gave her before we left the practice obviously checked if that was OK before giving it to her. I feel confident I've chosen the right place for Lulu to receive the best care. Thank you to everyone at Alfold veterinary practice for making us welcome. Linda & Lulu

Tania de Lucia is the best vet I have encountered in my many years of pet ownership, rescue and fostering! When she moved from a vet only 5 minutes away to Brookmead I also moved all my animals and now have a 25 minute drive each way. She has such a wide range of experience and goes above & beyond to diagnose and treat/operate, with great empathy and professionalism. A great addition to this practice!

Quite possibly the best Vets I've ever used. Neil and Neil the vets couldn't do enough for us and our dog Jazz. They have cared for him for the last 4 years and are brilliant. Operations ongoing health issues and they have managed it all professionally honestly and to the very best of their abilities. I would recommend this team to anyone who needs a great vet practice for their pet's

Popped in for Sunday brunch. Great food and service was good. I had the avocado on toast with poached egg and bacon and it was delicious. Not a great fan of the coffee but that's more to do with personal taste. Atmosphere was good and we had plenty of space including a child buggy and high chair.

We went for lunch today on our first visit and were really impressed. The coffee actually tasted like coffee and the hot food was equally tasty. The menu was eclectic and made a change from the usual panini. Also, very good value.

First time popping into Wild & Green as just moved into the area. Really lovely inside and great service. The only sad thing is that it’s not that easy to see from the road so need to redesign their balcony area to make it more inviting. We are looking forward to coming back for their Friday and Saturday evenings!

I've always had first class service from Ash Barn Vets, the staff are wonderful. They know me and Margot and that Margot hates being at the vet but they treat her with professionalism and kindness. Perfection! Family run setup with delicious food and great coffee! You can tell the quality of a cafe by the strength of their espresso…. This spot smashed it out of the park. Clientele are a mix of those who would drive a drop top vintage landrover to those who are kitted out head to toe in camouflage for finishing, not to mention the old age pensioners who are there for the sunshine… If you’re looking for high quality food and coffee, in a relaxed setting, close to nature, look no further. I met friends for coffee at this lovely lakeside cafe. Staff were friendly and food was excellent. I had a chicken and hummus flatbread. The chicken was moist and the whole thing well presented and delicious. Service was a little slow but the warm welcome, good coffee and excellent food outweighed that.

Lovely dog friendly cafe in a beautiful village with lots of outdoor seating. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. They have a good selection of lunch options. The only critique we would make is that the coffee and walnut cake had little to no coffee in it. But lunch was delicious.

First time came and amazing village… we had latte and duck (which is full)breakfast which was very delicious. What amazed me was the breakfast was hot till half way through as I ate slowly… lol. Anyw, that was super tasty for me. The whole experience was lovely and we planned to come back again some time in the near future.

Had a lovely breakfast at the dabbling duck. The staff were all very friendly and service and food could not be faulted. There was only one fly in the ointment. We sat inside the cafe as did a lot of dog owners. My friend has allergies and is a bit wary of dogs so it was a bit off putting to her. They were also all a bit over excited and ‘talking’ to each other which made it hard for us to converse. I’ve no objection to well behaved dogs but not everyone feels the same for various reasons and they are not necessarily just being intolerant. The Dabbling Duck has a large heated marquee outside as well as covered heated outdoor seating. Would it not be a good compromise to welcome dogs only to these areas and keep the small inside seating area pet free. Other than that small niggle it was a lovely brunch before a bracing walk in beautiful countryside surrounding Shere.

Cafe with quite a large garden area (partially covered - they have a heated yurt!) which is well done up and nice to sit in. Good selection of cakes and drinks with table service. A bit pricey though!

This is my second time in Shere and at The Dabbling Duck. I came last year as well. I travel from New Zealand and love coming to this place with my family here in England. Great food and staff.
