We visited today for afternoon tea for our sisters 60th birthday. The service was absolutely 5 plus stars. So attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. Absolutely recommend the food too! Love the brioche sandwiches 😋. Great value for money. Would definitely visit again when we are that way visiting our sister. Thank you so much all of you, we had a lovely day at your beautiful venue.
Update - I have been contacted by the property and they have been very receptive and responsive, so review edited. The loft was nice, I should have checked as the room overlooked the roundabout. The ear plugs next to the bed made me think. 😀 very poor dinner, the steak was poor quality, badly cooked and tiny. With a watery sauce. The chips were nice but not worth 24 quid. I did mention it to the server but it is not their fault, that lies with the chef and the manager.
Went for a Friday meal, it was very busy and a big shout out to Masie who was very helpful and looked after us very well over a hectic evening.
They have a good selection of beer and the food was very tasty and good quality, however the portions were quite small for the price. Had I known this, I would have gone for something like the fish and chips rather than the pork belly.
