The service was so great here and the amount of choice on the menu was very surprising! I didn’t know they served brunch items. We ordered the full veg brunch and it was very flavoursome and well presented. They didn’t have the coffee I originally ordered so they offered a banana cake on the house! Amazing amazing service! The cake was delicious, sweetened with dates and full flavour! I would definitely recommend.

Their specialty coffee is decent
I bought a bar of salted dark chocolate two weeks ago for a friend. He only eats dark chocolate and told me it was one of the best chocolates he tried.
The chocolate is outsourced from a company called Bare Bones in Glasgow
I like the vibe in this WatchHouse branch a lot. The spaces between tables, decor, furniture, and all ❤️

This coffee shop mainly caters to lawyers and other professionals in the area. So, it's not cheap.

The interior is modern. There's an upstairs area with more tables for sitting at, which is open during busy times. The atmosphere is ok if you're here for a business meeting.

You can get all kinds of coffee like a flat white, espresso or chai latte. They also do hot chocolate.

There's food options too like avocado toast. Also, sweet options like salted caramel tart and rose & raspberry square.

We paid £17.21 for two hot drinks and two sweets treats. As we dined in, there was a 12.5% service charge added on.

It wasn't too busy around 3.45pm on a Thursday afternoon in April.

The girl at the front till was super racist towards me, as I was the only minority around! She treated ONLY me like I didn’t belong there. I ordered a flat white and a croissant and as I was waiting for my order at the downstairs table, she got mad at me for not sitting upstairs. Then basically threw my coffee at me, which was spilled all over (see the picture). She threw nasty looks at me as well. What did I do to deserve this?!

I had my protein pudding on hand, which she told me not to consume within the cafe so I put it away in my bag - completely obliged with her requirements.

Why would someone treat another person like this?!

UPDATE: I emailed them at the address they provided under this review and heard back after about 10 days. I visited them yesterday at another location and was welcomed with coffee & treats. The new manager at St Mary Axe did a wonderful job resolving this issue. Thank you to Maria!

Been hearing raves about the coffee at WatchHouse. Worth the praise for sure. Ordered an iced latte and was a pleasant blend between the milk and espresso. Ambience was great, loved the decor!
