Quality of the food is very good, a lovely spot to take your loved ones. Definitely on the pricier side, but with genuine views of the river and Wandsworth Bridge. We had the Sunday roast and starters, all delicious and good portions.
My wife and I have been to this pub regularly and really enjoy our visits. It is not cheap, but the position on the river is excellent. In years gone by, it was not very well frequented and it was a bit soulless but that has all changed over the last few years. The management have done a great job to change that as the food has improved significantly since we first started going there.
In the summer, the outside seating is really enjoyable and the best tables are not bookable, so it is the "luck of the draw", but usually something comes up. We have had Sunday roasts a couple of times and the beef is excellent - tasty, good meat and plentiful. The service we have experienced has always been attentive but not over bearing.
This is not a pub in the traditional sense because it is in a modern building so the atmosphere is not the usual "cosy pub", but it is comfortable and not overly noisy.
