We both got the burger with bacon and cheese and it was perfect! Good food combined with a fun friendly atmosphere made for a great visit
The staff are fantastic, Jamie in the kitchen and his lovely wife really liked after me and the group I was with. Fantastic in every way, would highly recommend.
We had a lovely roast, the food was superb, the portion sizes are great as well. The staff and the chef is lovely. They put us on a nice table by the fire so we were lovely and warm.
A very nice pub, situated near the a30 as you enter Bagshot.
I was there twice last week. The first night was fairly quiet, but it was warm enough to sit outside in the beer garden.
The second time, there was a function going on, so quite a buzz. It was chilly, though, so no Al fresco experience this time.
The beer choice was good, and the service was excellent. On the busy night, the lady serving (Louise, I think) was kind enough to acknowledge me instead of just ignoring me, as often happens.
I am not in the area often, but glad I found this pub as it will be a good option if I am.
Update - I returned, there seemed to be another function, perhaps more regular than I would imagine. Anyway, quite busy for a Sunday night, a good vibe, and I enjoyed queuing at the bar, which is a rare thing these days!
Not only was I blown away with the lovely bustling atmosphere, Louise the bar lady wasn't only serving, clearing glasses, taking payments, helping patrons she was also friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the three Mariners Bagshot.
