Never had a bad meal! Food is always delicious no matter what I order.
We had a super family meal here today. All five meals arrived together, presented well and all of a high standard. The Norfolk Chicken burger was very tasty.
The staff were polite, helpful and attentive but let us enjoy the meal without rushing us to finish.
We came across this place whilst on a walk alone the Basingstoke Canal. Stopped for lunch. Quiet, out of the way pub in Crookham Village. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Bit on the dearer side of pub meal prices but you should try everything at least once to have an opinion. Had a gastro pub kind of vibe to it. The burger was lovely. Cooked well. Lovely setting, worth a visit.
We went to The Exchequer for lunch on my birthday. The service we received from the minute we arrived was warm and friendly. Special attention was given to my toddler and we were kindly gifted a dessert for my birthday - we were even treated to a rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ by the staff! Our food was great - well presented and very tasty. It was our first time visiting and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Will definitely visit again!
