We have just had the best pub Sunday roast for a long time at the Coach and Horses! The food was delicious and hot and plentiful. Al dente vegetables, tender meats and excellent Yorkshire puddings! The waitress was friendly, helpful and attentive and we've had a lovely time. Thank you all

Popped in here on a Saturday lunchtime for a quick bite. It’s recently changed management and gone is the huge portions and massive menu. Nothing wrong with the old place, we’ve never had a bad meal there but the portion size was bordering on the gluttonous!!
Now a slimmed down menu with a salt specials board, reasonable prices and tasty concoctions. Mixed bean chilli and a seafood madras was ordered with a pint of local Flacks double drop ale.
The food arrived in short time and was decent portion size and very tasty. Both dishes came with addons as can be seen in the photos and overall a very tasty reasonably process meal.
It was a bit quiet in the place although lots of tables were getting reserved signs put out for later which was a good sign.
They also do a bikers night on Thursday evening’s which I believe is becoming quite popular.
Overall it’s a great local pub and definitely on our list of approved hostelries!!
I have been a few times now. Recently under new owners. Menu has been renewed and slimed down. The food and portion sizes are good.
2 courses and 2 drinks came to £41 I think it's worth a drive out of your way. Lunchtimes are really busy, but the evenings are dead, so if you want a relaxing atmosphere with not a ton of people, then it's great. And the staff are always amazing. And very attentive.
Lunch sitting in the garden- great, friendly service. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Hot wings, halloumi and roasted pepper burger and chicken, avocado and bacon salad - which was really nicely done and hefty portion 👌
