We've used this pub on and off for years, so we are familiar with the place. In the last few years, it has adopted a Bistro style that works well. Drinks in the garden are enjoyable, as is the occasional meal.
Last year (2023), we enjoyed our first Xmas lunch at the Biddick, which was enjoyed by our family group, so we returned for 2024.
It was even better, especially the food. There was a full selection chosen with no disappointment evident. When coupled with great service, it made our festive day complete. Excellent occasion from a team that tries so hard to please, and they succeeded. An easy five stars.
First visit here, the restaurant itself is lovely - really cosy and tastefully decorated. The food was great, portions generous and all the staff were incredibly friendly but never overbearing. Will be recommending to friends and family. Looking forward to our next visit.
Third time here and can't find any faults. We had the Sunday lunch. The food was served quickly, it was delicious and there was plenty of it.
The staff were polite and friendly, and the restaurant was bright and welcoming. Don't think I'd go anywhere else xxx
The food was absolutely delicious.The staff were really friendly and helpful. We booked for 6.30pm and happy hour had just finished but they allowed us to still get the happy hour deal. My son couldn't finish all of his food so they very kindly put it in a take away carton for him. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere. I can't fault anything as me and my son had such a lovely time. We would definitely recommend visiting. Thank you to all the staff. Rating *****plus
Just eaten here for the first time, stumbled across the place as our son was playing golf locally. The food was outstanding and the service 5 star. 3 courses each with a glass of vino and coffee ⭐️ My hubby even got to practice a little of his Italian with the owner. Worth the drive from Hartlepool x highly recommend 🇮🇹 Italian food done right 👏🏼
