Delicious food and as always the staff are as so accommodating and friendly. Definitely the best pub in the area.
Had a really lovely meal this week for my mum's 80th. They do a Prix Fixe menu for £20 for 2 courses which was perfect for what we were looking for. The quality of the food was excellent!! Beautifully cooked food and very friendly service. I have so much respect for good hospitality staff and this lady was a pro! Thank you for looking after us and making my mum's birthday lunch so lovely. We will be back x

We arrived for lunch on a Tuesday without a booking. The menu was extensive and the food was delicious and good value.
Absolutely exceptional experience! We were a group of 8 without a booking at lunch time on a Saturday, and the hostess very kindly found us two tables next to each other.
The food was absolutely exceptional (I had the lamb rump), service was impeccable. We will definitely be back - I suspect they do an outstanding Sunday roast and I want to try it!
