Absolutely love shimlas this place is always a good shout. Food is always 10/10 family friendly and there’s free parking around the back just log your reg in when you go inside, or there is a pay and display across the road. The lamb chops are always 10/10 flavour wise and the meat so tender. Love the fish pakoras can eat loads of them lol. The fresh lamb balti or lamb chop tikka masala is our favourite curry. Blue lagoon mocktail is nice. Over all this place is always a good choice and I would certainly recommend.

Been here twice now and love the flavours they have.
It is on a busy road with limited parking behind the restaurant but there are a few parking spots not too far away.
You must remember, if you park behind the restaurant, you have to provide your vehicles registration number otherwise you'll get a fine
However, the restaurant is walking distance from the town centre.

The restaurant looks very nice and clean 10/10 and you can tell they take care of the place.
Both times we went was lunch time but it seems like it's always busy.
They have many options on the menu and the lamb chops take about 20-25 minutes to cook so best to order them as soon as you sit down if you want them. They are delicious and worth the try.
However, what we ordered the second time, didn't take long to arrive and took about 15 minutes.
The service was great, they are always smiling and happy to help, assist and answer questions.
The food had a mix of flavours and although we were quickly full, we could not resist the delicious food and had to finish everything by only giving back the plate empty. Recommend you try the dynamite prawns.
Prices are a little higher than some other places but worth it if you want quality, that little extra is worth it.

Will definitely be going back Again and can recommend.
Might even try a take away soon too.

Amazing experience at Shimlas Oldham! The food was delicious and beautifully presented — we loved the “Chicken Dynamites and Chicken Donner. Aseeba was very friendly, professional and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. The ambiance was perfect. Highly recommend for a memorable meal. We’ll definitely be back!

Only downfall didnt realise we were sat right next to toilet which put me off (thats just me though)
No sign on toilet door otherwise i like to sit away from it.
Otherwise food was spot on
And the young lady who served us could have smiled abit more. Looked like she didnt want to be there.

I really enjoyed our night out with the lads here. It's nice for families too. Delicious food, good atmosphere and friendly staff. The owner, Kashif, seems like a great guy. I would definitely recommend this place 👌🏼
