This place really hit everything on the spot. Great location next to Harrods, well themed Italian style and the food is lovely.

The staff are professional and I generally had a lovely experience and a great time catching up with an old pal while the food rolled in.

I may have got carried away with the tiramisu, and you should too.

We popped in at 5pm on a Saturday weary from the crowds at Harrods. They were warm and welcoming to my family and it just got better from there. The decor and ambiance was vibrant and elegant but still cozy. Staff was attentive and helpful, even if sometimes you had to speak up to be attended to. There were several families there with smaller kids like ours and it was still a nice dinner out. Don't expect crayons and kid friendly cups, but I didn't expect that at such a nice place. The food was delicious and not overpriced. If you like peas, theirs were the best I've had, oddly enough. Avoid the pollo limone it was the only miss at our dinner. Highly recommend to anyone. And treat yourself and get the oversized gelato dessert it was a huge hit with the kiddos and adults alike!

I booked San Carlo for a late lunch after attending a music event at the Royal Albert Hall. We had beautiful cocktails at the bar and then all 5 of us had 3 courses. All food was exceptional - my lobster pasta was absolutely delightful. The restaurant was busy and all staff were under pressure. But it was not disappointing as a customer, our waiter Clemmy always looked over to assure us that he would be with us as soon as possible - this is excellent professional service . The 2 barmen looked after us so well beforehand and their cocktails and conversation were fabulous. This restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere and I think is excellent value for money in this area. Book with confidence.

I haven't had such a pleasant experience in a long time. Starting from the staff at the entrance to the waiters, everyone is extremely kind and attentive. Due to the Italian specificity, the waiters give you recommendations in Italian and English. The menu is only in Italian. The service is wonderful, the waiters put on a show when serving products such as risotto or some rice specialties. They are attentive, smart and very calm. They explain the products on the menu and give you good recommendations. It's worth all the tip money (included in the bill, approx. 10%). We served steak, risotto, carbonara, pizza, a superb white wine, non-alcoholic cocktails for children. Also the sweets are great, try as many as you can. Clean and modern toilets. I went without a reservation, but I recommend having one. A beautiful experience.

I loved my experience in San Carlo. I was welcomed with a smile and an attentive service to the bar. I ordered their coffee, which was followed by pasta, specifically their truffle ravioli and carbonara. and followed by their Diavola pizza, an amazingly spiced and delicious dish with a crispy thin crust and great quality ingredients. My only concern was the ravioli, which was not what I expected due to the lack of truffle flavor, which was only found in the slices of black truffle on top of the cheesy and creamy sauce. The carbonara was exquisite, hot and melt in your mouth texture. All in all an amazing worth of your time, with a quality and clean service, full of smiles. Will be coming back for more.
