Superb meal, we have a boys curry club where we meet once a month and go to different restaurants, the Rupali is one of the best we visit, wonderful food and value for money, and you can BYOB, spot on

It is small and friendly, great value for money, and the staff remember you.
Never had a bad meal here and if something isn't quite right they will sort it for you.
By far my favourite part is that they will design a curry for you. Talk about what you like and how spicy, and they will create it for you.
I love eating out and eat at restaurants all over the country. By far one of my favourites is the Rupali and I keep coming back year after year.

The atmosphere was a bit quiet to begin with, but once word got it that it reopened, it's often been very busy, dine-ins and takeaway. Recommend booking, especially for large groups of 5 or more.
No alcohol license, but you can take your own no problem
Service has always been great. The owner has advised us on spice level (we like our food hot, but not so hot you can't eat it)
Food, been as a couple and with friends and family, everyone has enjoyed it thoroughly.
The price is pretty reasonable, too. You can pay on card, but i try to pay cash in small venues like this.
