From the moment you enter this quaint grade II listed building, the journey begins, with a warm welcome from the front-of-house manager.

We opted for the a la carte menu and had the Grilled Pork Belly for the starter, BBQ Lamb loin and lamb neck tagine for the main, followed by the chocolate fondant for dessert.

The Grilled Pork belly for the starter, presented as a lollipop was melt-in-the-mouth flavours and the food was taken to the next level with the glaze, peanuts and salad.

Then onto the main and the Lamb, and this was a tale of two halves from the beautifully cooked Lamb loin to the intense lamb neck this was a pure treat for the taste buds. The best lamb we have ever tasted.

Then finally the dessert, a light chocolate fondant enhanced with cherries was a lovely way to end the meal. This was not a rich dish, it was perfectly balanced by the cherries and the three ways they were presented.

The menu offers several options from the amazingly priced express set £25 three-course menu to the wonderous a la carte menu or the Sunday lunch.

Went there on a Saturday afternoon.
Their set lunch is called Express menu (light and informal), £25 for 3 courses, but don't be afraid it'll be in a rush because they served it on a relaxing tempo.
For us, the quantity was more than enough.
Food was very tasty, I most loved the wild mushroom risotto with black truffles as it was really well executed!
Overall, reasonably priced for this food quality. The service was excellent too, and so did the ambience.

Brilliant, really amazing. Dining at its very best, we have now visited 7 time's and it just gets better, every time it's a special experience and the experience continues to exceed expectations.

We went at lunchtime for the 5 course 'Menu Trust' and so had no idea what was going to be served. The restaurant has a good reputation, so this seemed an exciting option. Every course was excellent. Service also was excellent and the restaurant had a nice ambience. Overall the visit exceeded expectations.
I hope they continue to offer a Trust menu. We will be back.

Ronnie's is really special. We enjoyed an 8 course taster menu plus a wine flight last week. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. There were four of us and we loved every course. The wines paired really well with each dish and it was great to see that they were from the UK, showcasing some great vineyards. The building is lovely and there's a great atmosphere inside. Warm and welcoming. Thank you Ronnie. Superb. We'll be back!
