We had a late lunch in Henry's pub. It was lovely and the staff were great. Would highly recommend.
My wife and I have really struggled to find fault with this hotel and location. From arrival to departure we were looked after - front of house were extremely welcoming and informative, bar and restaurant staff were friendly and knew their menu (couldn't fault the food). In fact all staff were very professional. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfy. The hotel offers plenty of parking for guests - which is a real bonus.
We enjoyed the area and what was on offer.
Would recommend and will definitely be returning in the near future.
Absolutely lovely place and nice food. My favourite beer. Gorgeous scenery and dog friendly. All customers you speak to are friendly. Shame the staff won’t smile and be polite. A particularly staff member of the bar called ash is very rude and as much use as a chocolate teapot. Apart from that, lovely place to come. Just Avoid staff
Had a great meal for our group of 17 on a long weekend trip. Arranged to sit us in one half of Mr Henry's, so more like private dining. Staff were extremely friendly, very good service given, food excellent. Would recommend.
Gorgeous location with a fascinating history. Beautiful views of the river from our room. Spacious room and good bathroom. Very comfy bed but some quirky decor and lighting. Low ceilings in the top floor rooms, challenging for tall people. Delicious dinner and very good breakfast. Nice walk to Beaulieu. A lovely place to spend a few days.
