I got to visit the cafe today during their soft launch. It has a lovely modern vibe, very spacious and comfortable seating and great outdoor seating too. The coffee was the best I've had in a really long time. Me and my kids had lovely food. I had the Caesar salad and my husband had the chilli chicken wrap. Both were great. I absolutely loved the white choc chip cookie and raspberry muffin - I'm looking forward to this being a new regular spot for us.

What a fabulous new cafe, lovely decor, super friendly staff and fantastic food. The baked potatoes were excellent and the guys raved about the pulled pork and bacon on chips. Well worth a visit. We were here on our motorbikes and they were most welcoming. Plenty of gravel parking available too.

I came here for the first time and loved it. I came on a Monday lunchtime. Carpark directly outside the cafe with plenty of spaces. It was fairly busy but didn’t feel crowded.

If staying in the cafe you wait to be seated (may not be the case at quieter times) and if take away, queue at the counter. I was staying in the cafe and was welcomed straight away and gave me and option of tables to sit at. I did note that all the tables had plugs with USB sockets close by, excellent for working from.

I was given a lunch time menu with lots of choice - sandwiches, panini, jacket potatoes, egg based meals and cooked meals. I chose a turkey and stuffing sandwich. My order was taken from the table and came quickly (not too quick, it was clear it was freshly made!). There’s vegetarian and vegan options.

I had my dog with me, she was welcome everywhere in the cafe which was lovely. Staff gave her some treats and water, they checked if she was ok to have them first.

Atmosphere was great. I sometimes find cafes and coffee shops to have lots of overwhelming noises but this was fine. There were groups of people and people alone like myself.

There is a loyalty scheme for a free coffee, their website says to download an app, easy peasy.

Good value, excellent and welcoming service, a comfortable place. Thank you for my first visit, I’ll be back again.

Went for lunch today. OH had gammon, eggs and chips. I had the Sri Lankan Curry, wow it was to die for. Hot but not overpowering, poppadom and 2 of the best onion bhaji’s I’ve ever tasted. After talking with the owner after our meal’s he informed us that the curry is cooked fresh to order, which explained the wait. The gammon is sliced from a whole joint when ordered and there is the option to swap an egg for pineapple. It would be helpful if this was explained when ordering or written in the menu. Staff were friendly, welcoming and polite. The ambiance of the cafe is lovely, subtle music playing in the background which meant you could have a conversation. We will definitely be going back.

Food is really tasty. I enjoyed my jacket potato with cheese and beans, but it could have done with more cheese as it was an added 'extra'. No garnish or salad offered, asked for it on the side.
We weren't asked if we wanted more drinks etc, but they were very busy when we visited. Had to wait ages to pay and weren't given an itemised bill just the total, so I no idea what the costs were.
The toilets were very clean, and the menu choices were great. Will visit again.
