That’s something amazing!!! Cozy Italian restaurant with warm atmosphere, you’re welcomed with a tomato bruschetta, and you can choose from excellent pasta dishes inspired by Italian cuisine. I went for the rigatoni with pesto di pistachio, absolutely fantastic. Finish it all off with a delicious panna cotta.
I visited La Mia Mamma for the first time on the recommendation of an Italian friend. I had their Festive Menu which comprised of mixed starters, a pasta dish, main course and desserts selection. It was definitely one of the best meals that I have had in a long time.
All of the courses were cooked perfectly, well-presented and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the mixed starters and desserts selection, as it allowed you to try different things and the choices all complemented each other well. I had the pulled pork with roast potatoes as my main and it exceeded my expectations. The pork was succulent and cooked perfectly and the potatoes had the right amount of softness while still having some "bite".
The customer service was as good as the food. All of the staff who I interacted with were friendly and helpful. They were also attentive while I was eating my meal without being intrusive or pushy. For example, one of the servers recommended a good wine, as the one I originally wanted was unavailable.
The restaurant also has a very nice and relaxed atmosphere without being too hectic or noisy (and this was during the Christmas period). You do feel like you could be dining in a part of Sicily rather than Notting Hill.
Athough this was my first meal at La Mia Mamma, I will definitely return to eat from their "regular" menu.
Please note that if you have a disability or mobility issue, you do need to go down a flight of stairs to reach the toilets.
Our recent visit to this gem of a restaurant left me thoroughly impressed. The menu offers a taste of authentic Italian cuisine, and we couldn’t resist trying the classic bucatini all'amatriciana and their Mamma Anna pizza. Both dishes were absolutely outstanding.
The service was impeccable, warm, attentive, and efficient.
The staff clearly take pride in creating an exceptional dining experience, and it shows.
I highly recommend this spot to anyone seeking authentic Italian fare!
It’s a place that stays true to tradition while offering an atmosphere of genuine hospitality. Truly a must-visit!!!
La Mia Mamma on Kensington Park Road, London, is a delightful culinary gem that I recently discovered. I began my meal with the Salami board, which was absolutely delicious, featuring a variety of high-quality salamis that set the tone for the rest of the dining experience. To complement the meal, I enjoyed a couple of their cocktail offerings, including the Etna Volcano—a particularly nice choice. For those who prefer beer, they also offer Moretti, which pairs well with the food. The main courses were the highlight, with two outstanding dishes: the Rigatoni Pesto Pistachio and the Rigatoni Polpettine. Both were incredibly flavorful, with the pasta cooked to perfection and the sauces rich and satisfying. These dishes were a true testament to the restaurant’s dedication to authentic Italian cuisine. The restaurant’s location is another plus, as it’s just a short walk from the charming Notting Hill shops. Whether you opt for indoor or outdoor seating, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. However, given its popularity, the wait can be a bit long, so I recommend taking the first available seat to avoid delays. In summary, La Mia Mamma is a fantastic spot for anyone seeking delicious Italian food in a vibrant, lively setting. It’s a great find in the area, and I highly recommend it.
We recently visited this Italian restaurant and had what we believe to be the best pizza outside of Italy – Sicilian-style, and full of flavour! Every bite was a true delight, and the quality really stood out.
The staff were attentive and polite, making the experience smooth and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for an authentic pizza spot in London, or an Italian eatery, then this place is definitely worth checking out.
