Absolutely love getting away and staying here for a couple of nights. The rooms are spacious and high quality decor, which back on to a lovely courtyard. Food in the pub is always consistently good. Definitely will return again soon!!

The staff are excellent, professional and accommodating, because when we stayed they were put on the back foot with colleagues caught up in a car accident, yet they offered excellent service with us and the wedding party, with young children, filling the whole place for two nights. The breakfast included is fantastic and many options available for all needs. The rooms were very nice and brilliantly decorated, with everything you will ever need for your stay, that being one night or a week. However, they were slightly warm in the night due to the underfloor heating in the bathroom, which was solved by closing the bathroom door and the twin mattresses can be felt down the centre, which could just be fixed with a mattress topper. Overall, excellent stay but small things needing to be done to make.it that bit more comfortable. Thank you.

This was first time visiting and really enjoyed the experience. Staff were really friendly and down to earth. Very accommodating for our needs. We had a group of four and a baby. Highchair was provided for the baby. We were running late due to flooding in the area but again they were very relaxed about it. Food was very tasty and great portion sizes. Reasonably priced mains, deserts were a bit more expensive but delicious. Would visit again, possibly when the weather is a bit better and can imagine would be lovely to sit outside. There was also a reasonably decent sized car park round the side of the building.

Came here for a family lunch on a cold day. The service was outstanding, the food was fresh and cooked perfectly for all the dishes. The decor and the ground were beautiful, plus an inside fire to keep warm! Outstanding country pub!
