Having done some research we settled on Chayote. We love Mexican food and this did not disappoint. The ceviche sea bass and trout were lush, great crab, beef, mushroom, hake tacos! We could not fault the food. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive and we got a great wine recommendation. Certainly recommend. Well done team.

Great atmosphere and service. Note it is fine dining restaurant meaning that portions are not huge and I would say it is more for couples or small groups of people. The best meal was ceviche and tartar and my favourite cheesecake with mango 🤩. We were not impressed by tacos and cactus tempura. Would not recommend cocktails here better to go with wine or beer. They also charge service charge 13.5%. Overall not bad, fresh ingredients and good presentation of food however their cocktails could definitely improve as we tried quite few and none of them we liked.

We had an amazing dinner at Chayote with a group of 12, and it was fantastic! The ambience was cosy and stylish, perfect for our gathering.

The food was outstanding, featuring a fusion of Mexican, Peruvian, and Spanish flavours. We even tried cactus, which was a unique and delicious experience. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasty. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure we all had a great time and helping with recommendations.

The wine selection was excellent too, perfectly matching our meals. Overall, Chayote provided a wonderful dining experience that we'll definitely remember. Highly recommend!

My husband and I finally made it to Chayote, and wow, it absolutely lived up to the hype! This Mexican-Spanish fusion restaurant delivered on every front, especially with its incredible food quality.

The Squash Pumpkin Sopes stole the show! The corn dough base had the perfect texture—crispy yet tender—and every bite was packed with rich, flavorful goodness.

The Iberico Pork Cheeks Carnitas were another highlight. Served with warm tortillas, the pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender and juicy. My only small issue? As a spice lover 🌶️, I’d have loved a bit more kick in the salsa. Next time, I’ll be sure to request an extra dose of heat!
