We had to arrange a last-minute birthday lunch when our other plans suddenly went pear-shaped. The team did whatever they needed to do to accommodate us for, what was already, a pretty full session. They asked us to pre-order, which we were very happy to do, in order to help them out and they sent us the full restaurant menu by email. This is unlike many other places that send an extremely limited pre-order menu.
It was very busy and the staff worked really hard to keep everything moving along well, while the food was excellent and very well presented.
Price-wise, The Bugle is very good value, with the quality of the food being more than a match for the price tag.
Fully recommend, we enjoyed our visit.

The only reason i didn't give 5 stars was because it was cold. The staff tried to sort out the heating. But most of the customers in the restaurant were all sitting with there coats on whilst eating dinner.
The waitress did offer us another table after our starters.
Will definitely return but maybe in the summer.
Popped in for an impromptu dinner after walking the dog arrived before food service had a drink in the garden before eating when service started. Food was great (lobster & steak) obviously… Service was spot on, attentive but not pretentious. Will definitely be back.
