Great coffee and scones served here. The homemade cheese scones are particularly good. Good food generally at a competitive price. Great for families.
The food here is some of the best I've tasted. Staff are lovely. Can get really busy at 12:00-12:30 so be prepared. Lots of seating tho.
We had a pleasant lunch here, the food was tasty and truly British. The meat was unfortunately a little dry (perhaps from being under a heat lamp) and my cabbage quite watery. However the portion sizes were fab and I felt the food was made with good quality, fresh produce.
This is really a nice restaurant with quality food. We have been here a number of times. The staff are pleasant and more than helpful. Coffee is excellent. Can't wait to return and try the Derbyshire Homity Pie it looks and sounds great.
